Your PDS appears to be intentionally ambiguous. Specifically the term "Cancellation or restriction" in the "CANCELLATION OR TRIP INTERRUPTION" section... What even is a restriction? It appears you are avoiding the term "delay".

“Restriction” is a commonly used travel insurance industry term that encompasses circumstances that delay, prevent, or otherwise restrict a traveller’s ability to continue their trip as planned.
We appreciate the feedback and will consider whether the wording could be made clearer in future updates to the PDS.

I like the flexible coverage amounts and the website is easy to use. But I haven't made a claim yet so I don't know why they're asking for a review now when the most important part of the policy hasn't been put to the test yet.

Mind the policy carefully on train
Do not get this insurance if you are travelling by train, they do not cover an essential part that is missing connexion due to prior event. The current wildfires prevent us from our connection and we had to re-route without any compensation.

When trying to buy insurance for a country that could be involved in war, I was informed that "War and terrorism are not covered by the policy." I'm not sure the point of a product advertised to cover war and conflict, that doesn't cover war or conflict.

The best deal for military veterans, active military members that are oldies, but goodies still trying to keep things above ground best deal.I could get charged the same amount for a whole annual plan.Just 41 trip battle face is the bomb.

Easy to access online, comprehensive cover, fortunately have not had to make a claim so can’t comment on this part of the service. They were highly recommended by an organisation that provides occupational training for my industry so I will continue to use Battleface.
