barriers direct had the portable cone barriers, that i needed, to protect my property, from large vehicles, coming to close, which had caused the paving to crack, caused by too much weight, so when it's repaired, i will still leave the cone barriers up, i am releived to have come across this webside, as the drivers, now know why i have had to do this, most respect my issue, as they note the damage.

Delivery times and the communication regarding this really needs improvement.

Order took a month to arrive, delivery dates kept changing and I only received a straight answer on the day it was being dispatched.

I have ordered many times from Barriers Direct and they are always well made and quality products.

I ordered some barriers for a car park. I made a mistake and did not order enough bolts, they contacted me the next day to let me know and arranged for the extra bolts to be added to my order.

When my order arrived, part of it was incorrect but it was sorted within a couple of days. Great service, would definitely use again

Good Product terrible customer service.
Had to keep chasing delivery of bollards, which eventually arrived 2 weeks late, then had a question which after chasing several time they haven't even had the decency to reply!!

We previously ordered 6 identical drop bollards in 2024, then a further 2 in 2025, requesting the same key/lock number as the bollards were being installed on the same site. The second order stated "Keyed Alike (Each Lock & Keys will be the same)". No problem as keys matched. We then made a third order in February 2025 for a further 6 again requesting the same key/lock and the order stated the keys would be alike. At install it was noticed that not only did the key number not match the two previous orders but also that there were two different key types within the latest order, which naturally is not acceptable on the same site creating a difficult to manage situation with differing keys for essentially the same type of bollard used across the site. We then emailed Barriers Direct explaining the situation, which they agreed in writing to rectify, asking us what key number we wanted the new locks changing to. We immediately wrote back sending them a photo of the correct original key number and for good measure, a photo of the two differing keys in the third and latest order. Two days later after chasing up a response, we receive a call saying that we had not requested the same keys in the order. This is despite the order stating the contrary and despite the company already having agreed to correct and replace. We have therefore reminded them that the order was not fit for purpose and that they have gone back on their offer to rectify matters and meet their agreed contractual obligations. What is so disappointing is that rather than do the right thing and simply provide what was ordered, they are trying to shift the blame on to the customer and charge us for the rectification of their error. Not the way to treat to a repeat customer with an established and previous course of trading. The order is clear and uses the same wording as before regarding key type and they are contractually obliged to make good. We will give them 14 days to do the right thing, after which we will have to issue a letter before action and commence a small claim. What a waste of time and expense for them, when this could be resolved so easily as originally stated.

Was not sent a proforma even though we sent a PO so barriers had not been ordered. Then it was not in stock and delivery dates chaged

Our order took 4 week from payment to delivery. Delivery to site was via a courier and the driver left the parcel with a driver of a vehicle who was leaving site, even though full instructions , names and a contact phone number were given.
Note - Ladies in the sales office were very helpful.

i have only recived half of my order with no information about when the rest will be delivered

This removerble post is exactly what was needed because the other 3 had been damaged and if thay cant see this WELL thay need to go to spec savers

Having received the barrier posts, which were a very good quality. Pity the delivery company couldn't get it together as they forgot to put the bolts in the package. The girls at Barriers direct, were excellent chasing g up the supplier. Which took 2 weeks. All done now and looking very professional. Would definitely buy from them again.

The Clamp arrived but the bolts to assemble it were missing. I need the clamp before the weekend as we are going on holiday for eighteen days.

The goods were received in time and in good order. exactly as described on the web page. Thanks
