Poor customer service
I ordered a bow before Christmas and paid for 2nd day air. It never got shipped.
I called and they gave me the standard apology and stated they will refund my shipping costs (still not done) and send it overnight since I explained I was leaving for a hunting trip in 3 days. 2 days later I am now informed it won't arrive until tomorrow after my departure time.
I have to cancel my trip now. Horrible experience and will never order from them again
Quick update, my bow still has not been delivered. I was promised on 12/26/23 that it would be sent next day air at their expense due to their mistake. I just spoke with UPS and it was sent 2nd day air not next day. Had they done what they said after their screw up I still could have salvaged my vacation. Lesson learned. Always check the reviews. Most reviews are 2 stars or less

Don’t buy absolutely no custom service. Bow itself is fine whitetail hunter 2 but the scope fell apart inside. Being only 2 seasons old maybe used 6 times I would figure the bow n scope would be good for a long time, not so. I take care of my stuff nothing has ever harmed my bow or scope. I have left 3 messages and 3 emails to Barnett support and its been over month and they have not gotten back to me… all I wanted to know is the scope under warranty or can it be fixed??? There message when u call says customer service is very important to them, well that’s a bunch of bs. Looks like I’ll be buying an after market scope. Don’t buy Barnett, very frustrated customer!
Bought a Barnett 410 ghost brand new
Bought a Barnett 410 ghost brand new. Fired it 3 times and the string broke. Sounded like a shot gun going off. Lucky no injuries. Sent it in to get it fixed, they restrung it and didn’t even check the bow which had a broken bolt from the string breaking and sent it back to me. I checked it and found the broken bolt and some other issues. Contacted them and they refused to help me saying it was dry fired. I did not dry fire it, the bow string snapped when I was about to shoot it. They would do nothing to help me so I had to junk the bow and got a center point 430 which has had 0 Issues and is just as fast and accurate, although I only shot the Barnett 3 times. So it’s hard to tell.

The 425 ghost crossbow speed is excellent, but for an elderly person shooting, you cannot see the bolt fly. I have spent over $100 trying to put lighted knocks on this and I have broken a string. Why can the less price bow have lighted knocks but this one cannot. I have lost deer due to not seeing bolt hitting the deer.

The only question I have is why can't I give negative stars. I sent my Hypertac 420 in for repair on 8/21/22. It is now 11/1/22 and all I get is "they are working on it" really!!! I will never buy another Barrett product, and will probably sell this one as soon or if I ever get it back! Unreal how many promises that I would be receiving a call from someone within the next day or even 2 days. Only to have to call, wait through the waiting music and leave a message, and for them to call back with "they are working on it". That is NO way to treat any customer!!

OK, Here;s a tip. When you call for customer service. Witch nbr do you push? 1 or 2? Push 1 for dealer, leave a message at the beep exlpain the problem with the product. Let them know your upset but dont be a jerk A give them your nbr. And a Thank You please return my call. I had a return phone with in an hour. Quit being dick's!! They deal with more than one person a day. Can you do better?

Terrible customer service! And quality!
Terrible customer service I started trying to contact them 2 weeks ago and it said they would get back to you in 24 hours still no email or phone call. Will never buy any of there garbage ever again and will warn all friends and family to NOT buy from them as well. Had a bow limb split after 1 shooting session and less than a year old. I called and left 3 different messages and filled out the customer service contact request.

BUYER BEWARE! I ordered a new Wildcat Recurve to do a review on my YouTube channel and when I received it the limb assembly was warped. I contacted Barnett and they said I would have a new one within 5 days if not to call them back. 6 weeks later , 10 unanswered emails , at least 25 unanswered calls to their Customer Service where it puts you on hold for 30 minutes then tells you to leave a message and hangs up and I still have not received my limbs. I bought this crossbow new and have never been able to shoot it because it was broken straight from the factory. Now they ignore me. This is the worst Customer Service I have ever encountered. Horrible review coming!!!! DON'T BUY A BARNETT!!!!!!

Honestly if I could I’d give them a zero, 1 is too good for this company. I ordered some hyperflight arrows for my hyperwhitetail crossbow over a month ago. They took my money just fine, however I’ve still not received my bolts. They don’t answer the phone or respond to repeated emails. Save yourself time and money and buy from another brand.

I bought a Barnett Blackcat Crossbow in July and was really excited when I received it. I read the reviews before the purchase and at the time it had great reviews. But I didn't even get 10 shots in before one of the limbs broke. I have sent countless emails and have sat on the phone waiting for a representative for hours at a time. To no avail I have had no success with getting parts to repair, exchange, or even a refund. I had the bow less then a month before it broke. If I could give this company a negative 10 I would. Shame on you Barnett for cheating people of their hard earned money on a crap product.

If I could give this company a zero I would. I bought a Barnett Assault 350 crossbow back in October. The quiver broke immediately. I called them and was told a replacement would be sent out immediately. Here it is December and still no replacement part. Spoke to another person in November who assured me it was being sent. That was a joke. Also sent an email with no response. Have tried calling several other times the waiting times are ridiculously long so I tried the call back feature. Still no call back. Had I read the reviews prior to this I never would have purchased a Barnett product.

Should have read the other reviews first. Ordered a Whitetail Hunter Pro package. Upon opening the box I found that a crank handle had never been shipped. The retailer that I ordered from does not handle these parts and gave me the phone number to Barnett. They also indicated that they had had several other calls like mine. I called Barnett as soon as they opened. Of course I entered an automated system that gave me the option to get an automatic call back. Eight hours later and never a call. Thankfully I had no trouble with the retailer processing a return.

Shallow cam groove. Have to restring so often so as to be an unviable product.
Then I bought a Ravin R29X. Deep cam groove. Problem solved.
The 2 salesman I spoke to at Bass Pro Suwanee said they both tell everyone to not buy Barnett because of their shallow cam groove.

Please think twice before you purchase your crossbow from this company. They will not stand behind their product....I had done my research before purchasing a crossbow and decided to purchase a Barnett Ghost, as at that time the reviews were favorable. I truly enjoyed this crossbow until this year when one of the limbs cracked and the cams bent.
I immediately emailed Barnett customer service to find out how I would go about purchasing new limbs and cams.. They never returned any of my 5 emails. So I took my crossbow to a local dealer in town who said this should be easy as the bow is just over 6 yrs old and parts should be available. They were able to contact Barnett customer service, and where quite shocked when they were told there are NO REPLACEMENT parts available. Our dealer said he was concerned as the bows he deals with are obligated to carry/offer replacement parts for 10 years. They were once again told ...I am sorry but we don't carry the replacement parts. This was not a "Cheap" bargain basement purchase and I expected this to last as long as any of my compound bows.
I was not expecting something for free and was fully prepared to purchase these items. I know that Plano purchased Barnett and that seems to be when the horrible customer/product service began and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of the horrible service.

Don't buy from this company....they will not stand behind their product....I had a piece break on the first shot...called the company & spoke with a rep...he was to ship out the part....never got it...I have held on the line 5 times over 45 minutes each time & no one answers....I have emailed and got no response that way either...I went through the whole bow season with a broken crossbow
