Ordered an $18 aluminum flag pole; got surprised by a $20 “minimum order fee”
Ordered an $18 aluminum flag pole. Sucked up the $17 shipping charge as I understand the premium for an oversized item (6’); but didn’t realize that there was an additional $20 “minimum order fee” until after I hit the Pay Now button.
That’s BS; if you need to charge more for a single item, reflect that in your item pricing, don’t bury it in a surcharge at the end of the transaction. Needless to say, I won’t be a returning customer.

The $20 minimum order fee is disclosed on the product page in bold red text, which states: "Buy more and save! — A one-time $20.00 charge is added to all orders of 5 or fewer. All prices are calculated in the shopping cart."
