Super helpful staff!

Good recommendations on essential purchases needed for my bike packing trip.

I bought a nice saddle at a nice price with click and collect. "Ready in 3 days" the confirmation email said. I've had delays with Balfes before so gave it 5. No sign of it then. I asked the shop staff to text me when it was ready. Another 5 days on, I got the SMS. Please Balfes, change your standard email and get the shop to message your customers when their order arrives. And please make it less than 10 days. Posting it would have been much quicker. Can't fault the staff in the Sutton store though. Always helpful and polite, despite the disappointing logistics set up they're having to work with on click and collect

Friendly and professional staff. Fixed some new handlebar tape, new rear tubeless tyre and most importantly my 34 granny gear and all just in time for a big ride around the Peak District. Unfortunately this wasn’t indexed properly so I didn’t have access to the 34 on my 18% climb up Winnats Pass! I’ve since tweaked this…

Bike came out the door with the wheels out of true,ordered a Rapha jersey,we are getting close to a month now and still haven’t received it,the staff has no idea what is happening and it seems they don’t really care

Excellent service and very reasonable.

Customer service is always fantastic. My chain snapped and I took the bike into the Sutton store to be repaired/replaced. Received call to say further repairs were necessary (which probably contributed to unexpected chain snap) and given details of what was needed. Not a straight forward repair but Danny worked hard to get the job done and I was super happy to receive call to say it was ready to pick up. These guys are lovely and super helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

As usual, Balfe's Bikes in Sutton were excellent when helping us find a new mountain bike for my son. They had a good selection and my son chose a Scott Aspect 760. The team went out of their way to make sure that it was the correct fit and was set up properly. Many thanks
