Items ordered (concrete fencing spurs) available at a good price, in stock (most other suppliers have none at the moment) and delivered promptly. Communication v good and delivery was v smooth. Excellent.

Ordered one fence trellis, 4top caps 3.6 m and 5 feather bords week before for collection, when I got there they told me “tried” to contact me, as they didn’t have the sizes I’ve ordered( comon fencing shop doesn’t have basic stuff!!!), so the fence caps I had to buy bigger and different sizes so paid extra plus feather boards instead of 4inch wide at 150cm had to buy 5inch and 165cm which also cost me extra and also had to cut everything down to size I needed.
If they try to contact it means they at list have to call my number which they didn’t, wAsted my time!!!👎🏻

Absolutely appalling delivery service. I had requested quite clearly for a truck with a crane to delivery my concrete posts over my side garden fence, on the side road, (for which I had stated the post code of). The delivery driver and his assistant came down on my road and started unloading the goods, I stated that I wanted these delivered over my side fence (as mentioned in the delivery notes), at first the assistant said “that’s not possible”. I questioned why not, and he said “the crane wouldn’t be able to do that, the side road is on a slope”. I said that made no sense, as another supplier came with the same crane truck and delivered goods over the same fence for me, to which the assistant said “well we’ve not done that before”. Then he said “look mate, it’s been a long day” and “it’s at the driver’s discretion”. The driver made no attempt to speak with me or communicate as to where I would like the goods dropped. First and last time I am going to be using these cowboys, what is the point of paying for delivery when you get this level of disregard, ignorance and unprofessionalism? Never again!

Thank you for your response however, just to make a few points clear here. The crane truck was of the exact same specification that other suppliers have used. Infact other suppliers lifted and dropped goods far heavier than 3 concrete posts with the same vehicle. The driver made no attempt to communicate with me, there was no discussion about options of where to place the goods. The driver’s assistant categorically did not offer to place the goods where I wanted them. All he said was “is that ok?” after they were placed on my front drive. When given no choice about where these goods are to be placed, am I then supposed to say it’s not ok? It appeared that these two, (driver and assistant) hadn’t even looked at the notes, because it was only when I pointed out the instructions, the assistant then looked at the notes and confirmed this. Communication was bad, even a phone call prior to delivering to go through the options would have helped. Thank you for your response but it has not helped in any shape or form.
