Don't trust this company with your money

Ordered shirts and suit 3 months ago and still haven't seen any evidence that the order has been made. Paid in full upfront, my mistake.

Received emails with updates on when to expect the order, but every time there is another excuse. I sent some emails with questions myself, but so far all are left unanswered. Frustratingly, they keep emailing (spamming) me daily with offers to buy more suits and shirts.

When calling their customer services I hear that there are customs issues, but I should hear from the directors soon when my order is expected. This was supposed to happen yesterday and guess what, no response.

Quite fed up with their communication and will issue a refund through my credit card. Please do not trust this company with your money, it smells like a scam!

I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY SUIT I ORDERED 2 YEARS AGO. THEY LIQUIDATED THE COMPANY AND NOW SAY I'VE BEEN ADDED TO A LIST OF CREDITORS!!

Amazing service and attention to detail from Katrina from start to finish. Turned around alterations super fast when I was up against a deadline, and was as keen as me to get the fit perfect. Really great value for money for a lovely suit for my wedding.

Received one suit. Second not delivered. They state they fit the first then order the second to get correct measurements. It's months late. Poor communication in general, however, they have offered me huge compensation. They have closed a number of travelling stops... meaning extended travel for fittings.

I am waiting my second suit (and now third compensatory one). Should this be finally resolved I would consider using them again.

I am another very unhappy customer of ASTF. I paid £1300 for a suit and some shirts - I have the suit and 1 shirt but 8 weeks later - no other shirts - so I am £700 out of pocket and am getting the same line as everyone else "customs strike in Nepal" so basically I am now being messed about by them.

They really are a disgrace of a company and I am left trying to recover my goods or money - they do answer the phone but try and just fob you off with the "Nepal Customs Strike" nonsense.

Take my advice do not give this company any orders or money - you are highly unlikely to have a happy outcome.

I agree with other posts - the recent good reviews of this company are a scam - why would anyone post now about something they received 6 or 8 months ago. Do not be fooled by this deception - do not give ASTF any of your money.

Like many here, ASTF has failed to deliver my suit, claiming it is due to strikes in Nepal.

Upon investigation you'll read the company has gone into liquidation. I partly blame myself for paying in full upfront, I was suspicious and still went through with it because they seemed professional enough in the store. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS.

What they are doing is a crime.

The other reviews are obviously fake, please ignore or report if possible.

I first visited ASTF in December 2017 after a recommendation from my brother who is a repeat customer. The suit was for my wedding day at the end of March 2018 and as expected fits perfectly after a few fittings (not so much after adding too many post-wedding pounds!) and was ready in time for our big day.

Maxine walked us through the process while providing expert style advice to ensure the suit will last the test of time. I bought an executive three piece suit and couldn't be happier. Maxine was fantastic and I will definitely be returning again for my next suit.

Same experience as others here. Husband ordered suits 3 months ago. Since then nothing. Have responded to 2 emails telling us about a customs strike in Nepal but I can find no word of this strike anywhere on the internet. Appalling. Suits were for his new job starting next month, over £1000. Don't have the money (or time) to get new ones made now. I can only assume that recent 5 star reviews are false or relate to older transactions, I wish that this had been our experience.

Should the suits turn up and be marvellous I shall update this review but right now I would say AVOID.

I ordered a three piece suit for my wedding in September. Excellent service from Mac in Bristol, a gentleman and very good at his job. Can't recommend enough!
Took ASTF up on the £500 for a £1000 voucher offer, very good value for money.
Need to give them a couple of months to work with, this is so you can go back for a couple of fittings to get the garments to fit perfectly.
End result for me was a top quality suit that fits like a glove.

Got completely screwed over by these guys when having a bespoke suit made for my wedding. They blamed strikes in Nepal (not sure if true or not).. but ultimately they admitted I should try to find a replacement with limited time until my wedding.

Appalling customers service who kept promising me a call back from managers and nothing happened.

Sent plenty of emails and called countless times.

Apparently the issue went up to the MD but nothing came of it.

Now their phone lines are dead so I think they've gone bust!

Mac in the Bristol office was nothing short of effortless, as is the three-piece delivered for my wedding day. Professional, genuinely interesting and interested in you - I couldn’t recommend another tailor as much as Mac, and will certainly be coming back again.

Maxine was an excellent tailor and has help fit new and adjust existing suits for me now. Not sure about the supply issues mentioned below, mine have been fine - although I'm in no rush to get it right. Overall very happy and will be ordering my next one next week :)

I have used ASTF many times over the years - and been delighted. But something has gone badly wrong since the well-publicised financial issues of April 2018.

A suit ordered in April for my daughter's wedding initially arrived with shocking quality - ASTF agreed to remake, but the remade suit is apparently stuck in Nepal. The customer service team have no information and keep blaming "management". I must add that Liam who fitted my suit has been brilliant throughout.

I can only assume that financial issues - probably non-payment of a supplier - are preventing deliveries. Recent good reviews must be fake as according to ASTF's own customer service "nothing has left Nepal for several weeks now".

The company have my money, I have no suit and my daughter's wedding is in two weeks.

The MD just hung up on me when I rang.

AVOID!!!

Mac is an excellent tailor with a great eye for detail and fit. Top quality workmanship.

Delighted with the quality and service of my bespoke 3 piece suit. The order was completed in around 2 weeks, with another week for small adjustments to be made. I went for an initial consultation 6 weeks before my sister's wedding and was always worried something could go wrong but the efficiency of this service has put me completely at ease. It's an amazing turnaround for a bespoke suit. My tailor, Mac, was always helpful, reassuring and informative about the process. Would highly recommend.

Terrible customer service, terrible stylist and a one star service overall. Got the colour of my suit wrong not once, not twice but three times so finally I gave up after providing me with the wrong colour suit. I ordered a royal blue suit but they gave me a navy blue suit instead, then they made a black suit for me and finally they gave me a light blue suit....Totally useless and did not give me a refund. Stay away from this place and use someone else.

Do not touch under any circumstances. They have gone into liquidation and are hiding behind that to basically steal money from customers.
They have refused to refund money we paid them to make a suit - which they have singularly failed to do. They are unable to provide a suit that fits despite multiple returns over months and months. They just keep saying 'come back' and there is no improvement in fit at any stage. In fact, several times it has become worse

If I could give this company no stars I would. They took 8 weeks to provide a single shirt (from an order of 5) and only provided that upon my chasing. I've been waiting for the remaining shirts for 6 weeks and counting, but apparently they're in a dispute with a supplier and have no ability to provide me with an update on my order. Serious concerns that I will ever receive my order (that was pre-paid)...

Very happy with the suit and process to getting it, Liam was excellent in explaining how alterations would affect the finished item. Could maybe do with a wider choice of materiels.

Can’t recommend them enough, the suits were a gift for a wedding so a bit out of my usual price range, but the entire fitting process was easy and tactful. The suits look great, they aren’t particularly for party wear, more business and occasions, but really do look impeccable.
The customer service aspect was ridiculously efficient too, save for a minor mishap that was quickly resolved.
