My sister and I booked a trip through Ask Aladdin. We had a very limited time window and they made every effort to make it work, and the customer service was excellent.
They advertised the trip as a “private tour,” which we thought might mean a small van of travelers. We were surprised to see that it really was a private tour. We were efficiently collected from the Cairo airport (twice, since my sister and I arrived separately). The next morning our guide, Magid, appeared at our hotel and told us he would be escorting us. He sheparded us to the pyramids, and, without being pushy, made me feel secure enough to take a camel ride. At the Cairo Museum, his knowledge and enthusiasm made the visit a truly memorable one.
We were surprised to learn that he would be joining us on our 4 night Nile cruise. He took an overnight train down to meet the boat, and we went down by plane the next morning. During our cruise days, his patience and expertise made our “bucket list” visit to the historic tombs and temples come alive. He even helped us learn to read hieroglyphics. And, on the ship, he seemed to take especially good care of us (compared to the other guides), making sure we had wake-up calls and boxed breakfasts before we knew we needed them.
The ship was very pleasant, and certainly luxurious enough to satisfy us. Not much in the way of entertainment, but you don’t really need that on a river cruise after you do so much sightseeing each day. The Merridian Pyramids hotel in Cairo looked luxurious, but there were a few problems with the room that made it less than it could be, although it was basically fine. We paid for a pyramid view upgrade, which was awesome, but it may not be worth it if you are not in the room much during daylight hours.
I would say this tour was everything it was advertised to be, and more. It was made truly memorable by our guide, Magid Fawzy. Be sure to ask for him if you book a trip through Ask Aladdin.

We were a family of 4 and were lucky to get in touch with Mr aladdin in UAE who arranged part of our trip flawlessly.Its great to feel welcomed and at home in a new country.It was indeed a memorable experience.Kudos.

Our family group of three adults traveled to Egypt in Nov. 2017 on the Egypt Odyssey Tour package with the Petra add-on. We were very pleased with all the services including communications with Heba at the office, the itinerary, the hotels and cruise and, of course, our private guide Yassar.

We found AskAladdin through a web search and booked with them because they received positive reviews and their packaged itinerary fit our interests. They easily accommodated an extra day in Cairo and an extra day in Luxor. I had several email exchanges with Heba to work out these changes.

I forgot to tell Heba that Emirates had cancelled my flight and put me on a different one. As a result, Mr. Mustafa waited 7 hours at the airport for us. We missed him and easily hired our own taxi but he was able to track us down anyway, on the highway in the middle of the night ! That's attention to detail !

Our guide Yassar was very knowledgeable in Egyptology and hieroglyphics, and his english language was excellent. He guided us to all the important sites and also gave us enough time to enjoy each place on our own. We were driven around in clean and comfortable Toyota vans.

The Jordan portion of the tour was organized a differently - local guides are hired at each site. We were met at the airport by a greeter who whisked us through Immigration - we did not have to purchase a visa. We had a driver and a van, he arranged for admission and guiding services at the sites. This format doesn't give the traveller a very comprehensive look of the country as a whole. We learned a lot about Egypt's modern history from Yassar.

I highly recommend AskAladdin. I thought the cost was very reasonable.

This short-stay vacay was simply perfect!!! We were greeted at the airport prior to immigration checks by our coordinator Musafa, who already had our visas for easy processing through immigrations. On our way to the hotel, we were treated with bouquets and Egyptian pastries which was very warm and welcoming. Next morning Musafa connected us with our veteran tour guide Yasser and expert driver Muhammad who were with us for the remainder of our trip. Yasser proved to be a wealth of knowledge not only on the history and culture of Egypt, but also a treasure with preventing us from being overwhelmed with haggling and hustled. Our driver maneuvered the chaotic 6-7lane traffic done on a regular 3lane road, with such ease and calm. We developed a newfound respect for driving in Cairo. Our coordinator who continuously checked on us throughout the trip and Yasser our guide were very flexible with the schedule to pack everything into our 3days tour without us missing anything or feeling rushed at any point. I would not only recommend this company and especially these gentlemen, but will use them again for a much longer tour in the future. Thanks for a phenomenal introduction to Egypt!

The tour of Egypt was wonderful; personal guide Mostafa and drivers were excellent. However, once I reached Jordan, I was disappointed in The Jordan Experience which you contracted to follow my itinerary and would not recommend them. I had too much spare time and had to spend it in my hotel room; I had requested two days in Petra, not one. One day I was supposed to have a tour of the Crusader city of Kerak and The Jordan Experience people failed to take me so I missed out on this important part of my itinerary. I should be reimbursed for this omission as I had paid for a trip to Kerak and this was not fulfilled. I would appreciate a response to my complaint. Thank you.

My fiancé and I went to Egypt in Oct 2017 for 8 days, packing in as much as we could in the time we had. We went from Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and Alexandria. Right from the start, I had sky high expectations of Egypt. It has always been my favourite period in history and I hoped our trip would be everything I dreamed it would be. From the planning stages, Heba was so patient, helpful and professional as we ironed out our itinerary. She was truly wonderful in all aspects!

When we arrived in Egypt, we instantly fell in love with the country. I still remember everyone I met, and how i felt at each temple and site we visited. Our guide Yasser made all the difference to our trip. He was kind, patient, funny and so incredibly knowledgeable on everything. His stories and his passion shone through and we made a friend for life in him. So many times during the trip I was moved to tears by what I saw, namely Abu Simbel and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.

Ask Aladdin really did think of everything to make our trip comfortable; from the luxury hotels that were picked, through to the air conditioned cars and wonderful drivers at each leg of our trip. My fiancé and I rarely visit the same country twice, however we are already planning to return next October for another visit to the gorgeous Abu Simbel. Thank you Ask Aladdin and Yasser for creating memories for us that will last a lifetime!!

AskAladdin has honestly been one of my best travelling experiences! It is months later and I still remember the names of the people that helped me - Alan was very helpful in planning my day in Cairo, always assisting on the phone and replying to emails promptly. Yasser, the guide was very knowledgeable, passionate and well spoken. He really made the wonders of Cairo come alive with his enthusiasm and tales of ancient Egypt. We were greeted at the airport on arrival, and driven around in a private airconned vehicle.

Egypt is a wonder!
I just returned from 11 spectacular days in Egypt. It was the trip of my dreams.
I have been fascinated by Egyptian history and art since my high school days more than 50 years ago, but never dreamed I would actually get to stand in the temple of Ramesses II at Abu Simbel. I was so overwhelmed by the experience it brought me to tears. Our guide Yasser was endlessly patient with me when I spent such a long time just soaking it all in.
He was another wonder of Egypt himself, consistently thinking ahead to make the whole experience the best he possibly could for us, despite his own suffering under the rules of fasting for Ramadan. He spent very long days with us and got little sleep as the nights were his time of celebration with friends and family. He was ever cheerful and happy to answer my endless questions or stay just a bit longer while I took it all in. I couldn't have been more impressed with his knowledge and willingness to teach me all I wanted to know.
If you desire a trip to Egypt that not only shows you the famous sites but also caters to your personal requests, then Ask Alladin is a company I would highly recommend. The accommodations were fine, in particular The Blue Shadow cruise ship was beautiful. The transport by air conditioned van was a blessing and our drivers were amazing! It takes a real gladiator to be able to drive in Cairo, and our driver in Luxor who kept us supplied with ice cold bottles of water from his cooler was an angel! The meals were quite good. There were often buffets where you had the option of eating familiar foods or exploring Egyptian cuisine. I recommend the Omm Ali and the fresh dates.
The only downsides were the ungodly early mornings to catch flights to Aswan and from Luxor back to Cairo, but I think those are the fault of Egyptair not Ask Alladin.
I highly recommend a visit to the Luxor Museum when in Luxor. The masterpieces of Egyptian art that are housed there are beautifully displayed and interpreted, and are just the right number to really appreciate.
All in all I would say if you are considering a trip to Egypt - don't hesitate. I felt totally safe and well cared for at all times and found the people to be delightful. Just carry lots of "baksheesh" for tips and enjoy the experience. I am in love with the country and plan to go back in 2018. I just can't get enough of the wonderful history and art, as well as the lovely people.

When I decided to go to Egypt (with wife and grown son) I contacted several agencies; Ask-Aladdin was the only one to respond with accurate, up-to-date information. I had been in Egypt before and this time wanted a longer-than-usual tour with my own specific agenda. Ask-Aladdin was the only agency interested in meeting my requests. The trip (Alexandria, Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Abu Simbel) turned out to be even better than I expected.
Sara at Ask-Aladdin immediately answered my questions and offered good suggestions.She put us in exactly the hotels I specified, and where I had no specifics in mind she chose excellent accommodations. Our guide was the best I ever had in my half-dozen trips to Egypt. And the cost was no more than advertised group tours.
I had never cruised in Egypt, and we were delighted by the Lake Nasser cruise. Even more by our three nights on a Dahabiya (Aswan to Luxor): expensive, but well worth the money.
Tourists in Egypt need not fear for their safety at all. Bad things happen there like anywhere else, but the murder rate in the U.S.A is six times and rape 200 times more common in the U.S. than in Egypt. Incidents involving alcohol are almost nonexistent, and only soldiers or policemen carry guns. Frankly I felt much safer in Egypt than in any large city in America.
I grow old (I'll never see 80 again) and may never be able to return to Egypt; but if I do, I'll certainly use Ask-Aladdin.

I booked an Ask Aladdin tour in March. I spent 7 nights in Cairo (2 nights), Aswan, and a 3-night Nile Cruise. I also spent a night in a sleeper train. I was the only person in the tour. I booked additional excursions to Alexandria, Abu Simbel, Abydos and Dendera and took the hot-air balloon ride over the Valley of the Kings. I had an exceptional time on a trip that has been a dream since I was a child. The representatives that met me at the airports and took me back to them were incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Ramadan. My guides were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The cruise was a great experience, and the employees were so helpful and friendly. I must admit that, before my trip, I worried that I was visiting too many temples, but each was unique and interesting in its own way. And all of them left me wanting to return and learn more. Nearly everything left me awestruck. Even after I returned and had a small problem, Alan from Ask-Aladdin help resolve it graciously and generously.

On my next trip I would do a few things differently:
•Make sure that I have plenty of small bills/coins for tips. Tips are such an important part of the economy in Egypt, and I wanted to make sure that I showed my appreciation for good service. I might even take American dollars to make it easier.
•I would like to spend longer on the cruise ship. It was so pleasant.
•I would rather fly than use the train.
•I would be more willing to say no to things I didn't want or didn't want to do. There is so much 'being thrown at you' that it's overwhelming at times.
I could not recommend this company more highly, and I am planning to revisit Egypt in December of 2018 when the Grand Egyptian Museum will be partially opened.

I absolutely loved our tour of Egypt through AskAladdin. We were a group of three and were quite impressed with the personal attention we received from the moment we were met at Cairo airport. We were fortunate to get a wonderful guide, Hazem Bazid. He was informative, funny and made Egypt come to life for us. When my husband wasn't feeling well, he even had the ship's chef make him a special meal to settle his stomach. The cruise down the Nile was one of the most memorable things I will ever do. The ship, the Blue Shadow, was beautiful and the crew was so attentive. I would not hesitate to recommend AskAladdin to my friends.

I Went to Egypt via Ask Aladdin this past April on the Red Sea Adventures tour. I Decided to travel there alone and being that I am a woman, I was a little hesitant. Once I met with my ask Aladdin representative at the airport I was greeted with flowers my apprehension was immediately put at ease. This trip was nothing short of amazing! All of my guides and reps made sure that I was "Happy!!". So far this has been the best vacation I've taken. I truly enjoyed my experience and was a little blue when it was time for me to return home.
I will be using Ask Aladdin again when I make a return visit to Egypt in the future!

There were 3 of us on the private tour arranged by Ask Aladdin. We had 8 nights/7 days including the 4 night Nile Cruise. The only thing I would have done scheduled differently was to eliminate the 8th night and flown back to Jordan after returning from Aswan. We arrived from Aswan with time to catch the Jordan flight so the last night was a bit of a waste. It is a long drive (over 1.5 hours) out to the airport and we made it twice due to this awkward scheduling.

We had a fantastic guide named Hazem Bazid and we recommend him highly. He was patient with all of our many questions and peculiarities for which we thank him. He is a very knowledgeable Egyptologist and can even read the hieroglyphs, so we learned a lot from him. Hazem traveled with us from Cairo to Luxor, Aswan and back to Cairo. This was nice because we had the same guide throughout our tour who had a good idea of our basic knowledge and about what he had already told us. He made a long and complicated history of Egypt understandable to us.

The tour was very well-organized: we were the first ones met at the airport on arrival in Cairo, the vans to move us around were new, spacious air conditioned and waiting in place every time we needed them, the accommodations were all very nice in the hotel and the Nile cruise ship. If you take the MS Blue Shadow, be sure to get a massage from Sandra. She is very talented- one of the best masseuses I have encountered anywhere in the world.

Egypt is a fascinating country and this is a great time to visit. The tourist spots are safe and well-guarded. We never once felt in any danger on our trip. The Egyptian pound recently devalued, so all the extras and mementos we purchased were very reasonable. AskAladdin arranged a magnificent and memorable tour for us. We recommend them and particularly Hazem Bazid if you are lucky enough to go to Egypt when he is available to guide you!

And most importantly he is a kind and honest person that made sure we had the opportunity to experience things beyond just what was included in the tour package, helped us with cultural differences such as how much to tip and where to get genuine products, and made time to sit with us and answer all our questions about Egypt and history no matter how silly or complex the question.

Ask Aladdin were excellent to deal with from tbe early stages through to the trip itself. Egypt is a great place to visit, and if you stay away from the Syrian border seems perfectly safe, and just a wealth of history! Our guide Hazem took excellent care of us and provided a lot of information on not only the ancient history but the current state. We had 2 fifty year olds and a 79 yo and all loved it!!!

This was a truly remarkable trip for our family of 6. Ask-Aladdin took care of every detail as we arranged to travel from Cairo to Luxor to Aswan to Abu Simbel in 9 days. Everything from the handling of the planning with Sara on the front end was superb including the prompt follow up, as we had many questions. During our trip, we were never without access to anyone for questions and concerns as we stayed in Cairo for the first few days then flew to Luxor for a Nile cruise. My daughter was not feeling well one morning and the company promptly made a change to our schedule to accommodate some rest for her. Our Egyptologist, Yasser A, was unbelievably knowledgeable and did an incredible job of educating us, as well adjusting the presentations to a kids level, when necessary. This was truly an incredible trip for us and we will definitely be recommending not only the company to our friends and family, but the individuals involved, Sara, Moustafa (logistics in Cairo) and Yasser our Egyptologist who traveled with us the entire trip. I have to say that Yasser's tours were really the differentiator for this trip. Egypt is not a place that can be toured (in my opinion), without a knowledgeable guide and we got exactly that coupled with a lot of passion! I randomly picked them off the net when I needed a tour company to organise a Nile cruise for me. Their website looked professional and trustworthy.

I have no regrets. From the word go they turned out to be an extremely professional outfit and from the start of my trip on the wonderful 5 star luxury Cruise ship Farah, which they had selected for me, to being dropped off at the airport in Luxor to continue on my travels in Egypt , everything went without a hitch. Their staff was extremely friendly helpful and professional to the core.

I have not been able to finish raving about Egypt to all and sundry. Indeed you may hear of troubles In Egypt and there was an incident that took place in Alexandria while I was in Cairo. But fear not. Life must go on.

People must see Egypt before they die. The Arab world has so much to offer that the rest of the world doesn't. America and Europe pails significantly in comparison.

The diversity, history, cuisine and the remarkably helpful and friendly Egyptians turned out to be the best travel experience I've had in a long time. I will indeed go again and as such intend to visit more Arab nations such as Iran. I consider it a privilege and a wonderfully unforgettable experience that is Egypt!

What a great nation! One that spawned the cradle of civilisation. It's massive temples and tombs over 5000 years old still standing and pre dating Christ. It's wonderful museums, great libraries in Alexandria, the souks, mosques and churches with unparallel architecture going back many years in time and of course the Great wonder that is the Giza pyramids.

If you have not visited Egypt during your lifetime, you certainly have not lived.

I was a little skeptical when I first booked with this company, I read a comment someone had made about it being suspicious that all the reviews were 5 stars. We booked with them anyway and I can't even begin to explain how awesome everyone was! We went to Egypt 3/19/17-3/26/17 and from arrival at the airport to departure every detail of our tour was taken care of for us including transportation and some of our meals. Except when we were in our hotel room, we had an English speaking representative with us at all times. The historians that were guiding us thru the pyramids and temples were so passionate and knowledgeable it truly added to our amazing experience. We were a bit timid about going to Egypt and ask Aladdin's staff made us feel much safer than if we were there ourselves. If you have the means to go, this is a great time to go to Egypt, the security is high and tourism is low, we never once even had to wait in a line to get in anywhere and we are talking about places that are normally elbow to elbow packed like inside of the great pyramid! And if you go, book your trip with ask Aladdin. They tailored our tour to our exact specifications and exceeded our expectations.

I would like to congratulate you on an outstanding tour. My wife and I enjoyed our travels to Egypt that we arranged through Ask Aladdin. Every aspect of our trip was taken care of by professionals who were concerned about our safety and welfare. From the moment we arrived and met Mr. Ramadan to when we left, we never had to be worried about any aspect of the tour.
