I am a practising barrister. My brother was diagnosed with Epithelioid Mesothelioma. We decided to pursue a claim for compensation, although the passage of time and causation were difficult aspects of my brother's case. I have a large number of friends and colleagues working within the English Legal system and, after taking careful soundings, chose Asbestos Justice (Oliver and Co) as the firm most highly recommended to me in this field. From the outset we were confident that we had made a good choice. Asbestos Justice obviously benefit from lengthy and relevant experience. They were able to give excellent advice on how to go about obtaining and submitting the appropriate evidence; they assisted greatly with the myriad necessary forms; and organised everything on our behalf. Furthermore, they were attentive without being intrusive and evidently cared about the work they were undertaking. Their performance throughout was faultless. My brother received one of the highest payouts ever for a case of his type, an outcome which lifted him hugely and provided me with some small satisfaction in very testing circumstances. Asbestos exposure, Mesothelioma, claim for compensation

Diagnosed with Mesothelioma in January 2022, I was told I can try for compensation from the employer when I was exposed.
On top of having to face surgery and chemotherapy, this sounded rather ominous and a long-winded process. Who to choose as my solicitor? Lots of expensive, full-coloured brochures came my way. A Google search came up with Oliver and Co Solicitors, a smaller practise, specialising in this disease.
The initial telephone conversation was reassuring. Not pushy, but sympathetic and friendly. This was the one.

He was also reassuring about the outcome of my disease and any future I have. He has wide experience of this disease and the outcomes of his past clients. It was very encouraging.
The time between commissioning him and winning an agreement was 7 months. Lots of correspondence between solicitor, defendant, barrister, doctors and myself took us through the process and James made it easy to understand and deal with. The settlement, comprising compensation and ongoing medical costs, was a generous one.

James & his team couldn't of been more helpful, James kept myself & my mum updated throughout with the claim for my Dad. When we first started the claim my Dad was still with us and thought James was a very professional & honest man. From the start of my late fathers claim for compensation due to mesothelioma James Cameron and his team worked tirelessly with my dad to collate all the information that they needed to submit a claim. My father luckily remembered a lot of his work history and so was able to provide a good case for James to put together.
