ArgosPay has been ruined by NewDay, you now cannot pay off a single Buy now pay later you have to clear the whole balance even if you’ve just taken a 12 Month pay later within a month you have to pay full amount which sucks because it defeats the purpose of pay later. Will never use again and will close account

Apalllling service i cannot register my current account at all!!! I have called customer service and firdt time someone answered to the phone and wasted 15 minutes of my time and he hang up and with the next call same situation they hang up terrible plus i have interest added on my account get a new job guys!!!!!

Argos Pay is rubbish! They’ve sent me all the login details but I still can’t get in. I called customer service yesterday and they just told me to keep trying. I’ve been trying since last week and it’s nearly been two weeks now. I’ve honestly never seen anything like this before- it’s a complete disaster.

Absolutely awful app alongside the removal of not being able to use it in Sainsbury's and Sainsbury's fuel. No point keeping it as it was mainly used in Sainsbury's rather than Argos.

Would definitely not recommend and poor features. Should of kept it the same and added the BNP feature instead of removing everything else!

ArgosPay not fit for purpose! Argos Card was simple no problems paying or Paying BNPL plans. This armatures taken over and not only can you not speak to a person but if you have a BNPL plan you can’t pay this off which isn’t mentioned in any leaflets surely breach of contract with Argos! My BNPL ends next month so I tried paying abit off this month which I found hasn’t reduced it at all and the money paid has been allocated to the overall balance fuming! If Argos had stated that all BNPl would not be able to pay it off individually and there would be trouble doing this customers would have had an option to pay them off before the transition to ArgosPay but no nothing was mentioned at all other than they would remain the same. Disgusting app and firm! Sort it out. I’ve made a formal complaint but I’m sure I’ll get two fingers back!

They've messed up my account. Ive lost all confidence in the product. Once I pay my last BNPL I intend to cancel, and use very.co.uk

Charged interest on something that was never received couldn't be bothered wasting more time on the phone to them been almost 5 months trying to sort so just closed the account absolutely robbing scum of a company no one knows anything and can't sort anything out just passed from one person to another for months

Would have given zero if given option. ORN not received. Unable to make payment as kept saying 'do no accept credit cards' when it was a debit card. Unable to register, complete shamble. Will buy elsewhere in future as too much hassle. Was fine for years, now a joke!

Since changing to argos pay there is no option to pay off a buy now pay later plan so when the plan runs out ou will incur back dated interest..

The argos card app was great could pay both normal credit and you bnpl in separate payments. This time around you can't choose what you pay off or how you pay it. Was great beforehand and now you've mucked it up. Some thing are better left alone. I would avoid it if you can god knows how much debt they're going to get people into now.

Tried registering half a dozen times. Code doesn't get sent. Didn't recognize account number. For such a large company, this is my worst IT experience ever for such simplistic instructions to apply. You are losing me very quickly as a customer. Your IT department needs replacing.

The new argos pay app is terrible, you can't pay towards individual bnpl plans, also got an email saying 'your direct debit has been cancelled as requested'.... something I never requested, bye bye Argos, Hello more Amazon purchases

Bloody awful, doesn't recognise my email/log in even though I've set it up 4 times🤬, long story short... if I can't log in, I can't pay, and good luck with trying to charge me interest with that Argos!

I never agreed for my account to be handed over to New Day, I didnt give consent for them to be given my personal information including banking information for my amazon credit card debt, I am FUMING.
I have not been able to get through to customer service, not been able to register, not able to get a otp, reinstalled the app did all the steps others advised online but its still not working, I will likely default because I am so damned annoyed.

What have you done Argos!!
This new app / company has made what used to be a simple process regarding BNPL a pain in the backside. Talk about not fixing something that isn’t broken!!
It’s laughable….. today I have paid my balance and will not be purchasing from Argos again.I have no intention of involving myself with loan sharks.

It may just be me , I accept I don’t like change . In the old Argos App you could give your different agreements names so you knew what was what and not just figures .
Also I can’t work out how you pay money on a specific agreement anymore and not just your whole balance.
Does everything need to constantly change 🙃
I have also paid off balance and requested in app to close account down .
Also didn’t like the way I tried to pay it off on a 0% credit card and it declined the payment even though there was plenty of credit left .
No improvement anywhere. Will never use again.

Where do l begin Wouldn't let me pay in, just kept redirecting me to a system of payment that didn't work Lots of different phone numbers but none that helped just automated answering machines basically. After about 3 hours l managed to pay off my account and closed the app. Whoever thought up this doozie needs a demotion. On a serious note, have used argos for years, spent a lot of money, and the old Argos app was so easy to use. Argos will lose a lot of customers over this. Sad really.

Appalling, trying to make a payment but won’t let me log in to make one or even confirm log in details. It was way better and pretty much faultless before, so why change something that isn’t broken.

Since the change you now have to pay off the balance in full before paying off BNPL balance - this is a change that happened and no prior warning given, I used it and would pay it off in full before it ended and still pay towards my normal balance - chances are I’ll now incur large interest add ons now - this is totally different to how it was last month.

Argos had a good set up with paying off your credit, you could access your account and pay off your bnpl plan as well as normal credit.
Along comes New Day and taken away this facility, surely they have broken the contract i had with Argos ( I will be taking this further) and f it up
My advice dont get involve with this credit company!!!
