We had a few hiccups with our trip that the team sorted so quickly. The airport transfers were rescheduled so no longer fit our flight times - we were given different options available to us, along with taxi/bus services available. Our whale watching trip.had been cancelled due to strong winds, and we were given different options and found a new experience that was sorted very quickly and no stress for us.

It was brilliant having everything sorted for us. The team were very responsive to emails and always got back to me quickly. Thank you!

Had a great time in Finland at kakslauttanen arctic resort. On our first night we saw the aurora intense colours and dancing. The log cabin was warm and cosy. Reindeer sleigh ride was lovely and relaxing. Staff friendly and helpful. Husky mushing was intense. Snow mobile ride was good. Transfers and pick ups were on time. Great experience.

Seamless from start to finish, Hannah, Ellie and Amber have all been amazing. Every question I had (and I had many) answered in minutes and every request was sorted without hesitation.

Could not fault any of it at all. So helpful and made this once in a lifetime experience 100% stress free.

They day of travelling we were told they have the emergency phone if anything went wrong (which it didn’t) which was peace of mind in case it did.

Would recommend to everyone and couldn’t have booked this holiday without them.

Appalling service from Hannah via email.

I am a solo traveller and have no idea what sort of budget I would be looking at for Arctic trips. I sent back a query asking "[could] you give me some idea of what a solo trip would cost, as I am not sure how much I am prepared to pay!"

Just because I chased this query which was 5 days old, with no idea as a customer whether they had received my response questions (there was no auto-response to this email, which is what an efficient, better company would have done), they are now "not [be] proceeding with your enquiry"

If THAT is how they respond to an initial enquiry about travel planning with Arctic Direct - then AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. They are not worth your money or attention, and I am sure there are plenty of other companies out there who have much better customer service and attitudes.

Just disgusting service, I was shocked when I got this reply this morning

Hannah was very helpful booking our trip to the Ice Hotel along with various excusions in Kiruna. When we incurred problems with our trip, flight delays, missed connections and a bout of food poisening, Hannah was immediately on hand to help us. She also securred us some compensation from the Ice Hotel.
If you want peace of mind that a travel agent will look after you then use Artic Direct. A very refreshing change in these days of fast sales and little customer after care. Highly recommend this company.

We booked late to go on a Lapland trip to Finland (Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort)- the staff that booked the trip were wonderful, they were informative and left us feeling confident that our trip was everything that we wanted. And …. It was, as promised everything ran smoothly and all of our excursions were booked and the place was fantastic. Our travel reps were Hannah and Lou - can’t fault anything, they were great.

We had the most wonderful holiday at the Ice Hotel in Sweden. They were fabulous before the trip when flights were being cancelled because of covid restrictions they booked us on a flight a day earlier and arranged a hotel at no extra charge. Worked perfectly!

Avoid this company. Once they have your money they couldn’t care less about you or your trip
