Hello Aeropostale support,

I would like to announce that I was not happy with my order because the items does not fit my size, and I would like to return, but shipping charges $8 for return. What a joke! Aeropostale is very rich and greedy as capitalism!

I couldn’t understand why this company had such a bad experience until I shopped there. The reviews will steer you in the right direction so never ignore them. I wish that I hadn’t, they have the absolute worst customer service, terrible shipping and they will try everything to avoid refunding you your own money. Stay away from this company I’d rather spend my money with a company that appreciates my business and treats me with respect.

STAY AWAY from this place.
Went in store to make a return. Was told they could not make the return because on the date of my purchase their system was down. I said okay...I have the merchandise and receipt. The manager said she would give me merchandise credit. This place and the people that work there are a joke. There is no customer service to help....I'll be submitting a charge back for a FULL refund with my CC company.

Received a pair of pants in the mail I ordered with the ink tag still on them. Contacted customer service and they said I would have to pay $8 return shipping when it was their fault for leaving the ink tag still on them.

Holy moly, where do I start? I placed an order on 12/1, got a shipping confirmation on 12/5, and nothing happened after. I tried tracking it, which led to some obscure message from UPS that it had been transferred to USPS, but that tracking number did not work at all. The chat is basically useless. The first representative just parroted what the obscure tracking already told me. I finally got on another chat 17 days after I placed the order, only for them to tell me that "due to unforeseen circumstances," my order couldn't be fulfilled. Mind you, my credit card was charged on 12/1. Never ordering from this company again.

I bought two joggers pants and the pockets of both the joggers were ripped and my husband he lost his wallet because of it. Pathetic quality .

sent back a return a month ago and they couldn't process return onto my Apple Pay, they issued me a gift card, when I called they said yes it's been processed to my Apple Pay visa, nope it wasn't, then I chatted and emailed....all told me the same thing. finally got a person that said oh we couldn't process it so I'll mail a check...nope still haven't gotten that and it's been over a month.

This place sucks. I noticed a pair of socks I really wanted and added two more items. The two items showed up but not the socks. Reaching out to customer service via chat was useless. The person I spoke to was no help whatsoever and basically told me I’m a liar because that item wasn’t showing on my order. Well I screen shotted my order showing her it was. And her response was they ran out. So you run out and do not communicate this? Instead im left with a surprise when my package arrived? Horrible way of handling things. I wish I could return my other two items without paying shipping as this business does not deserve my money. Worthless customer service! Nothing was solved via chat and email and this post is make others aware. When emailing all they do is say sorry, well sorry doesn’t fix anything.

Awful customer service (actually I’d give zero stars if possible). I returned 2 items that I’d bought online and did not fit and was told to wait 30 days to receive my refund. Well, it’s been 2 months since the items were returned and so far no refund. When you “chat” with them, they come up with palsy excuses and to wait 3-5 business days so that you’ll get your refund (but so far nothing!). It’s beyond ridiculous how they treat customers.

My experience with Aeropostale at Great Northern Mall , was awesome....The associates Ryan and Emma were very friendly and helpful. Stores need to hire people who have pleasant personalities as they displayed.

I've never bought from Aeropostale before, but I saw an ad online and decided to buy a few jackets and shirts. When the items arrived, they are just bad....I mean the quality is subpar and the pictures online with the models are all taken at good camera angles. They also require you to pay $8 to return your purchase. Yeah, goodbye Aeropostale, now I know why your brand is dying.

I ordered July of 2023 and I never received my order. I spent well over 400 dollars. I ask for a refund and they always have a excuse of the machine is down. Wait 30 days. It's now September 29th, 2023 and still the same old reasons. I know I have been scammed. Please please you guys don't order online it's all a big scam!!!!!! Then they said ohhh we received one shirt but that's all. Which is bull because everything was in one box. Definitely a scam. I typically go into the stores but being I was busy with work I ordered offline for the first time. NEVER AGAIN!!! I'm sick of hearing I'm sorry and wait 30 days that's all they tell you but you never will receive your refund nor your order.... what a scam!!!!

Terrible customer service. I can't speak for the clothes because not only will I not receive my order due to a shipping issue, I will also not receive a refund.

Absolutely horrendous. Tried to return a purchase made online in-store, as the website claims is an option, only to be turned away, being told that they couldn’t process PayPal purchased returns in-store. It does not say that on the website ANYWHERE. If that’s the case then specify it or don’t offer PayPal as a payment option. Called customer service after leaving the store, and they said they would waive the $14 total shipping fee on my two orders, and email me a free return shipping label to be received in a few hours. No label ever was emailed to me. Now I have to sit with customer service for another half hour tmrw. They had also advised me the return might not get processed correctly, so I’d have to work that out with PayPal and not to call them if the return didn’t get credited. What on earth?!?!

Crap clothes and crap customer service. Disgusted. First and last purchase from this joke of a retailer.

I made an order and literally watched as the website switched my shipping and billing address. I immediately reached out and was told I needed to cancel the order, with no explanation how. So I emailed back and they said they would cancel it but they didn’t so the package was shipped and my card was charged. I tried calling, chatting and emailing with no response. Finally got someone today and they told me they can’t help me right now and to contact them again in 24 hours. This is insane, worst customer service I have ever seen.

Lost my first package literally inside the warehouse. Ordered 2nd package took 13 days to arrive. Ordered a 3rd package with overnight shipping got it 5 days later and the refused to refund my over night shipping cost. I was a loyal customer but now I am done.. literally do not care about customers anymore. No I'm sorry nothing pretty much just a screw you we got your money we don't care.

Liars that steal money, waste your time and tell you what you want to hear on the phone, and then don't refund correctly and charge return shipping on defective items. They even tried to charge me a return shipping fee on a label that I didn't even use!
I had to waste a lot my time filing disputes with my bank, because they tried to cheat me out of over $40!

It’s terrible that there’s no -1 star rating here. This clothing company does not even deserve 1 star. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. Their customer service is very unhelpful. I cancelled my purchase less than 2 hours after making a purchase because I did not receive any confirmation email whether my purchase went thru or not. When I called their customer service, they said they will cancel it and refund within 3-5 biz days which they did not. No email confirmation again about this request, i called again after 4 days and was advised that there’s nothing that they cam do anymore because the order has been shipped already. Asked for a supervisor and the supervisor was rude to say that he cannot to anything about it and that I will have to ship back the item.
