I just came back from their Iconic China and Yangtze Cruise trip. It was, without a doubt, one of the best travel experiences I've ever had. A&K did an outstanding job in creating a phenomenal itinerary with extremely knowledgeable guides in every city. Our tour guide/escort was exceptional and his high level of customer service was outstanding. The accommodations and restaurants were first class all the way! Every A&K employee we interacted with went out of their way to ensure all our needs were met. This trip far, far exceeded my expectations and I definitely plan to use A&K again! You won't be disappointed!

This is our third A&K trip and while the first two were superb, this one to China was over the top - an Olympic Gold Medal winner!! As always, the planning was perfect and fit each activity perfectly. The sites we visited were unforgettable, beautiful and historic and will be remembered thanks to the wonderful guides that led us through each site. All of this orchestrated by the best Tour Director - Michael - that we have ever had on any of our trips. As always, the hotels were beautiful and well located with wonderful views, when possible. In addition to all of the wonderful sites, we were treated to a wide variety of Chinese food characteristic of the regions from which they came. Abercrombie really gave us much more than we expected - they were wonderful and I highly recommend them.

Just returning from Japan Classic journey during cherry blossom season! Spectacular! Seamless transfers with a guide and Driver in the car that walked you all the way to the hotel check in desk and on the return to the airport check in counter to be sure we didn’t get lost. The tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable, well informed and organized. Great sightseeing, hotels, food, and activities on this tour. You worry about nothing with A&K and have the opportunity to meet really exceptional people in your group in a wonderful setting.

We were on a small group tour to China. There were supposed to be 18 guests, but 6 cancelled because they were flying thru Dubai (war, etc.) We had an excellent experience. The local tour director was organized, informed, friendly and funny. We appreciated that he made clear to one couple who was tardy to get on the bus that he expected them to be on time from thereon out - and they were. The local guides in each city were also good, some better than others at English, but all good. The excursions were varied and interesting, with special activities thrown in like tai chi in the park and a fabulous foot massage. Changes ere made if the weather required it, but we saw everything we were scheduled to see and had a great time doing it. Highly recommend.

If I could give A&K 6 stars I certainly would. Everything was top notch and our tour guides were excellent. Showing us all the great points of Japan and allowing us to really understand the culture. Just a wonderful trip. Really looking forward to taking another trip in the future with A&K

Extraordinary Lodge and Professional Staff, Olonana, in Kenya. Flawless booking, follow-up, and support. Magical safari with wonderful manager, guide, waiters, and housekeeper. Loved every minute.

Every minute of the week-long trip was perfect. I was a solo traveller looking to be safe and not get sick while seeing the amazing sites of Egypt. Reem listened and tailored the trip for me, with 2 days with a private guide and 4 days on a nile cruise where I toured with a group of 6 others. Accommodations, food, staff, services, variety and cadence of events and activities surpassed expectations and were of the very highest quality. A truly special and memorable experience.

Faultless really; good communication and advice pre-trip, excellent guide/driver, good backup from local agency and offered support after being caught up in ME disruption. There could have been slightly more information about the itinerary - actually what the guide did (after discussion with us) was better and more interesting than the original plan. But no complaints; we have travelled extensively with other similar companies and on the bases of n=1 we were impressed.

We have now had two holidays with Abercrombie and Kent. Last year fly drive in America Deep South and this year Thailand (Bangkok and Krabi). On each holiday experience, the customer service was excellent. The quoting was fast and nothing was too much when making 'tweaks' to the planning. Booking and paying on line was fast and efficient . During my fly drive experience, I was contacted every day by the local representative. This years experience in Thailand included last minute changing departing flights due to family reasons and then again the return flights were changed by A&K to ensure we got back despite the current issues in Iran. We will certainly be booking our next big holiday with A&K. Despite just getting back to the UK, I will be contacting them again soon for ideas on the next experience.

All the attention to details to plan and execute the trip to Tanzania was terrific. Then the guides were extaordinary. They not only were very competant and knowledgeable, but also extremely flexible each day-- thus allowing us to get the most out of our trip. I can not give a higher recommendation than what A&K did for my family of 8 in a private 8 day safari.

We had an exceptional experience on Tenerife where the hotel was excellent and the guides and drivers were superb. Another A&K win!!

Very rarely do you have a perfect trip. Someone or something is always not quite right or enjoyable. However, on this trip to India, we experienced unparalleled levels of fantastic customer service and meticulous organisation. The planning, execution and personnel were exceptional.
I would like to pay special tribute to some of the people we met. They are - James in Mumbai, Vikram in Udaipur, Rajeev in Jaipur, Raju in Agra, Kapil in Delhi and our wonderful driver for 5 days, Gurmit. All went above and beyond for us and their contribution to a wonderful trip cannot be over-emphasised. The managers were also incredibly helpful including Shakti and Vipin and I hope I haven’t left anyone out. I would also like to mention Margaret, Sarah and Margaret in the UK who pulled out all the stops when our flights had to be rearranged on account of the Iran situation. Very well done.
We’ll definitely travel with this company again. Their attention to detail and the genuine warmth of everyone involved gets an eleven out of ten!

We just got back from Costa Rica and we had a great time. The itinerary that Abercrombie and Kent set up for us was wonderful.
The places we stay at the food we at the people we met our guides were all first class. We have no complaints. We would recommend this trip to anybody
We saw so much wildlife as the guides were great spots. The accommodations were all wonderful if you’re thinking about going to Costa Rica I would highly recommend using Abercrombie &Kent Ltd. You can either go with a group or you can make a tailor-made trip with it both and they were both equally as good.

We have traveled with A&K since the 1990’s. From climbing Mt.Kilimanjaro, expedition sailings, small group journeys, a family safari, to Wings over Italy we have never been disappointed. We just completed an expedition cruise to the Seychelles. Have 3 more trips planned this year.

This was our 2nd trip withA&K and it lived up to our very high expectations. Guides topnotch, smart, capable and affable. Hotels, the best. Experiences exceptional.

It was clear from when we landed that A&K have been doing this well for a very long time. The entire trip flowed effortlessly (from our side). We packed in a huge amount over two weeks and all the people we met along the way, from the A&K representatives and our tour guides to our driver, Bunty, were outstandingly good...kind, knowledgeable and professional.

every detail of the Patagonia trip was well thought out and executed. A nice itinerary with varied things to do.
Our guide, Andrea, was exceptional. Another terrific A& K experience.

We took a trip with A&K where there were twelve total travelers. Two groups of five and us. On the first night, one of the guests asked us “how long we would be on their trip”. On top of that…, we were shuttled back and forth between the transit vans, between the two bigger groups.

I asked our guide if we could have designated transportation and he never responded. We were treated like the fifth wheel by both the other travelers and the guides.

When I wrote my review I commented on this. Following up once we were home, I wrote to the A&K agent in their Chicago office and was told “we should have booked a private trip”. Why is that? Because the other travelers basically HAD a private trip at our expense.

Whatever anyone else says, we will never travel with A&K again. They are arrogant, they don’t listen and they treat people like they are the only game in town. We have lots of choices with whom to travel and A&K isn’t going to get our money ever again.
