I was a nervous first time buyer and totally clueless about the process of buying a house. I was recommended Abbey Law by a family member.

I was put in touch with Adeel, one of The Abbey Law solicitors. I can honestly say, he was so genuine, professional, polite and knowledgeable. Perfect recipe for an ideal solicitor. He was absolutely awesome in getting the job done efficiently and promptly, answering all my 101 'first time buyer' questions, whilst actively keeping me informed about the process. I've never had to chase him.. Ever! Always prompt in replies, and taking action in real time.

At times I was unsure of what step to choose next and Adeel would talk me through these, explaining each one and advising me of his professional opinion.

I cannot recommend Adeel highly enough. I am glad to have found him and will certainly be hanging onto him for futures legal matters.

Over the past few years I have had to deal with a number of different solicitors for various reasons, and I can honestly say that Ian Bailey of Irwin Mitchel and his staff were fantastic. My mum died from Mesothelioma in 2019 (diagnosed in 2018) and we brought a case against Cape, the identified manufacturer of the ACM boards (that had no warning information on at the time) my dad and mum installed at their home some 40+ odd years ago. We were very lucky to have a good deal of evidence. Communication between solicitor and client was great and service was outstanding. We felt fully supported from enquiry through to settlement, and we managed to be a thorn in Cape's side for a few years too! Ian and Alka Shah were fully understanding with regards to our situation, and they kept us informed (by post, phone and online meetings) every step of the way. We had a very bad experience with a previous solicitor from a different company and in comparison Abbey Law and Adeel have risen above all expectations. We are fairly new to the buying and selling process and Adeel took time to explain each stage to us (and repeated if necessary!) he was always very keen that we contact him if we had any questions and he was very easy to get hold of. If we emailed Adeel we would always get a response within 24 hours, usually less, and sometimes just within a few hours or minutes. Even through covid we had around 3 or 4 face to face meetings with Adeel which felt very reassuring.

The estate agent who we were buying off also praised Adeel for keeping her in loop and communicating with her (she said this never normally happens.)
