I ordered a tractor after phone discussions and exchange of e-mails. It was not delivered by the promised date. E-mails were unanswered. Delivery finally achieved after many phone calls. Next, the towing arrangement agreed in the contract was not fitted. E-mails again were unanswered and more persistent phone calls and a final exchange of e-mails were required to complete the contract, after many weeks. Next, during the first service, I found the cutter deck drive belt was fitted incorrectly and then failed after about 7 hours of operation. This was on top of the tyre pressures on delivery being badly wrong (eg 23psi instead of the required 5 psi), making me unhappy about the final assembly and pre-delivery check. Three e-mails from me about the quality of the maintenance work received no answer. Have now given up. Conclusion - abysmal customer care.

I ordered a grass box which turned up within a week. For whatever reason it wasn't the right one . I am not sure that the customer is always right is part of their ethos. So it was promptly returned by Parcelforce 24 and was signed by them on 17th May.
If I hadn't called them twice they would not have refunded my money at all and even though I had waited 3 months for a refund they had the nerve to charge approximately 14% restocking cost.
I will never deal with them again .

Ordered replacement buffers for an old pair of sandvick hedge shears. They arrived a few days later. Fitted perfectly. Very happy with the quality of product & the service.

Good service, the only issue I have is the slow dispatch and delivery times for parts, a pain in the butt when the lawn is growing and the mower broken . I do and will still use them , they just need a better parts processing procedure .

Very helpful technical telephone technical support to identify the needed part, dispatched quickly and arrived within a couple of days, excellent service, can't be faulted.

Great service from Abbey Gardens. Royal Mail delivered my package, but it did not turn up on my doorstep. I called Abbey Gardens up and they sent out a new one the next day. Many thanks to Lee for sorting it out for me.

Placed order and received confirmation on the 5th. E mailed on 10th to say no news of dispatch. Rang today 13th and was told part only arrived yesterday but would call back in 10 minutes to confirm all was in hand and would be sent today. As yet, 20 mins later, no call, I have to go out so am relying on my order to be sent.
Not the best experience of this company!!

Order placed 2 weeks ago. No status updates. Emailed looking for an update and my support case was not replied to. Avoid this farsical company and order elsewhere, I’ve requested a PayPal refund which, as expected, they’ve not replied to.

Had to chase up the initial contact by telephone and email twice. items sent not totally as ordered, nuts missing which I was told would be included.

web site showed no parts for Toro mower but then phoned to query this as i had bought this from you, however phone call confirmed you had filters in stock. Then had to go back on line to place order ( why not take order on phone ) . After paying online had to wait over a week for del'y.

I ordered an item which was delivered very quickly. Sadly it was the wrong item. I contacted the company and dealt with a young man who immediately resolved the issue. He sent me a pre-paid label. I returned the goods and three days later the right item was delivered. They were polite and professional right through. In this day and age it was very refreshing. First class goods and service. Thanks very much.

Enquired about stock levels on a Saturday afternoon to confirm the machine I wanted was available, to replace a rotovator that was dying part way through a job. Chris confirmed availability and said he would look out for the order if I decided to place one and said it would be despatched on Monday for delivery on Tuesday.
I placed the order mid afternoon Saturday and received the usual confirmation e-mail. Monday, received despatch e-mail and 10am Tuesday a large lorry arrived with the machine. Spot on. Excellent service, many thanks abbey garden sales. For the record the machine works really well and I am very pleased with the whole experience.

p.s. Their price was the most competitive I found and included palleted delivery.

Have used Abbey Gardens previously without any hitches and given a 5 star rating on each occasion. . However this time the order wasn’t correctly picked and the wrong items were despatched.
Whilst the return postage was free there was still the inconvenience, cost (jiffy bag) & time to process their error.
