I bought a pair of snow pants last April. I used them a couple times and loved them. Then came this past December and after a couple more days on snow the crotch ripped. I contacted 686 asking if they have a patch kit because I love the pants. They responded quickly and offered me a complete new pair at no cost to me. I love my new pair of snowpants and they have been great and no rips!!! I will be getting a lot more 686 gear from now on!

I love 686! I hate buying from them though, because when I get my order, the quality of the products gives me more reason to go back and buy more immediately!

So far the product I received is great, but when I had a question about the product I never got an email back about some visible pilling on the pants after only a month of wear.

Quick shipping and very high quality clothing.

First time ordering from them and 1/2 my order was incorrect. I received different color pants than the ones I ordered. I contact their customer service and they tell me it was a technical issue, please fill out the exchange form. More like a packing error and no apology for getting this incorrect. It's not like I needed the pants for an occasion I was heading to this week. What do they care? I'll exchange my pants and kindly move on to a store that's more dependable and accepting of their mistakes and will make good on those mistakes. They should at least offer to expedite things for me. Just a one line answer and that's that. Never again.

This is my second time ordering from this company. The first time was very smooth and I like the quality of the jacket that I purchased. The second time My order was never delivered and I got nothing but empty promises from customer support. After three weeks I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charge. I never heard back from 686.

Below problem was resolved after I sent an email asking a manager to CALL me (not email!)
Original Problem: Excellent clothing, but BEYOND frustrating trying to get help with an exchange. You cannot speak to someone (covid is the excuse they give you). Has to be done over email. And the most recent response received from their support team (after FOUR days of communicating over email) was a flippant, obvious, but unhelpful 1 sentence response to my request for help! I sadly will never order from them again. I know there are other competitive products on the market. Too bad!

I purchased a pair of Everything Cargo pants (GTX Infinium) in 32/32 but, were too loose in the waist and too long in the leg. Exchanging them for a 30/30 with my fingers crossed. Even though they are a relaxed fit, I haven't worn a 30 waist for +50 years...WOW. I hope the new pair works out since I love the pants. I hope I don't have to return the new pair albeit the exchange/return process was quick and easy. Great products - varying sizing. Cheers!
