Getting Exactly the Right Color
We bought several samples to get exactly the right appearance in our house. Samples arrived quickly. We plan to buy a bunch for our new house.

Smoked Larch panels
We recently installed the Smoked Larch wood panels from WoodUpp in our living room, dining room, and main bedroom, and the transformation has been incredible. The panels bring a warm, modern, and elevated feel to each space without ever feeling heavy or overwhelming. The natural grain and smoked finish add a richness that you simply can’t fake — every panel looks intentional and beautifully crafted.

JH, you just described our Smoked Larch panels better than we ever could — and honestly, we might have to quote you on that. "A richness you simply can't fake" — that's exactly it. 👌

Beautiful wood slats that took a long time to get to me
The wood slats are very beautiful and look to be of good quality.
The edges of the front veneer really cause slivers, so care is needed to not run a bare hand over them.
It took a very long time for them to be in stock, and then they sat for a week before actually being shipped (I'm not sure why). This part could definitely be improved by either providing an accurate estimate when smoked larch would be in stock again, or letting me place my order while it was on back order. I almost left for another vendor during all the waiting.

Michael, first of all — thank you for sticking with us. We know that wasn't easy, and we genuinely mean it when we say we're glad you did! 🙏
We're so happy to hear that the panels lived up to your expectations in terms of beauty and quality — that's exactly what we aim for. But we hear you loud and clear on the wait, and we're truly sorry for the frustration it caused.
Your note about the veneer edges is also well noted — thank you for being honest with us, Michael — it's the kind of feedback that actually helps us improve.
We hope to make it up to you next time!

Wood tone variation is unacceptable
We made a very large purchase to cover the ceiling in a 18’ x 25’ room, several thousand dollars. The panels are the Carolina light oak color and had noticeable variation in wood tone when they arrived. My contractor reached out to the company about the issue and was told that’s just the nature of the product. So when installed we now have a ceiling that looks like it has stripes, not the look we’re going for. The panels were lightly stained to try to even out the variations but beware adding stain or a finish voids any responsibility of WoodUpp to stand by their product. So a panel is sold at a premium price point, consists of wood tone variations, comes unfinished but voids warranty if stained to make it even and that’s suppose to be acceptable? Who wants a wall or ceiling with stripped wood? Perhaps in certain applications with low lighting this isn’t an issue but it certainly is for us. The concept in great and we hope it mediates sound concerns but overall I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Beverly, thank you so much for reaching out directly to us and for sharing the pictures — we truly appreciate it, and we understand how disappointing this must feel after such a significant investment.
Having now looked into your case more closely, we can see that the uneven appearance is unfortunately a result of the stain that was applied to the panels. Our panels come unfinished, and while they are beautiful in their natural state, applying a stain can cause uneven absorption depending on the technique and product used — which is what appears to have happened here.
We want to make sure we find the best possible way forward for you, and one of our specialists is already on your case. We look forward to speaking with you directly to explore your options.
Thank you for your patience, Beverly — we truly want to make this right. 😊

Long term flexibility with quality panels and attachment systems.
Quality products! Sound attenuation surpassed our expectations. While the strips are only laminated, the underlying material appears to aid in the sound absorption. The Create items are expensive but set this panel product apart from all others once the wall is up. You now have flexibility and change ability in your wall decorations/entertainment choices without damaging panels.

You processed the refund in a timely fashion. I just wished you carried the panels in 108" lengths for 9' ceilings. 9' ceilings is VERY common in most homes now.

Very good experience
Very good experience. Their product is exactly what they advertising. Perhaps a bit expensive, but I am satisfied with quality. Very easy to mount. Fast shipping.
They need to give more instructions and sell some special tool o cut their panels across.
I also didn't expect that instead one big panel you will get two cut into two parts which are different size. This is not indicated anywhere when you are ordering them. I didn't expect that these two parts are slightly different size, I found this out only when started mounting them. This actually made me to change my plan and I had to order additional panel.

Thank you for your honest and detailed review, Vadim — we really appreciate it! We are so glad to hear that you are happy with the quality, the easy mounting and the fast shipping. That means a lot to us. 😊
Regarding the panels being delivered in two parts — we do have this information available on our US website under the "Product dimensions" tab. The full panels are split as shown for making the shipping experience as easy as possible.
We understand however that this may be easy to miss, and we are sorry that it caught you off guard and caused you to have to order an additional panel.
We will also take your feedback on board, as we always want the full experience — from order, shipment to mounting — to be as smooth as possible.
Thank you again for helping us improve, Vadim. We hope you are enjoying the final result on your wall! 😊

Beautiful Quality and Excellent Customer Service
I absolutely love these wood panels. The quality is excellent, and I even enjoy the natural scent of the wood in the room. They look incredibly stylish and luxurious while still adding warmth and softness to the space.
I installed them symmetrically on both sides of my bed, and the effect is amazing. Visually, the room feels taller, more elegant, and somehow softer and more inviting. At the moment, only one side is installed because I was waiting for the rest of my order, but even with just half completed, I can already tell the final result is going to look stunning.
I also want to mention the company’s customer service. Any issue or question that came up was addressed immediately. It's so refreshing to work with a company that is responsive, responsible, and genuinely easy to communicate with. They made the entire experience smooth and pleasant.
Highly recommend both the product and the company behind it.

Wonderful Company
It was a pleasure doing business with WoodUp. I was pleasantly surprised by their followup and their video made just for me. Everything came faster than expected. Easy install since my wife did all of the measuring and cutting. I did my own lights since I find theirs too expensive. Love the shelf.

Living room accent wall.
It was very nice to receive the samples ahead of time so I could be sure of the color. I took me awhile to make my decision but we are very glad we did it. When putting the panels on the wall I noticed one box was labeled Brown not UT Brown and was a little upset at first because the Brown box was slightly lighter than the UT Brown but we were doing 4 rows of 5 panels so I just spaced them one on each row and it looks beautiful. We decided to screw the panels on instead of glue and they are letting me send the glue back so that is great. It was easy to work with everyone and liked the personal video we received from Wood Upp.
