I gave two stars because the quality of the furniture is decent enough. I would like to give one star, but I'm going to be fair.

The customer service is phony friendly, meaning they are using AI to write responses that they think you want to hear. If you use AI enough, you can recognize a response made with same. The website states that the table I ordered with comfortably fit three stools - it does not. When I asked to return one of the stools, it hadn't even been opened, I received several AI responses telling me how correct I was, how sorry they were that the website wasn't accurate, and that they would offer me a 30% discount to keep it. I didn't want the item, I stated that, and was ignored for a few days until finally I followed up and asked about a full refund because I didn't want to pay for an item I couldn't use, even with a good discount. Eventually they wore me down, I gave up, accepted the discount, and now I have three stools stuffed under a table with no hope of anyone ever sitting in them all.

They claim shipping takes 3-4 weeks, it took over 5, and came in a bunch of different deliveries. Not the end of the world, just annoying.

Additionally, the items come with no pre-drilled holes, nor any instructions. You're on your own. I am not handy, but thankfully I've used a drill enough times and logically just used a marker in the spots where the bottoms of the items matched up, but beyond that, there's no help whatsoever.

There's no chance I would ever buy anything from here again.

Worst experience ever!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Spent over $1200 on what was advertised as solid wood table, it’s hollow and cracked!!! THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR RETURN POLICY, they want to send me $300 to shut me up and to fix a crack! It wouldn’t be cracked if it were solid wood as advertised! AND NOW THE ARE JUST GHOSTING ME!!!!

They appear to be local but are located in Asia and this is not "easy-to-know" from their website. They have not answered emails that I have sent asking questions and lastly, shipping is 4 weeks from wherever they are located in Asia (again, not clearly communicated). Buy local......

I ordered a double live edge table and what they sent was a table with a semi done cut and there were scratches on several parts of the table right out of the box. The staining process looks terrible and nothing like live edge tables on their website or out in other places I have seen.

The product is not even a resemblance of what they show. They advertise a single slab. Lie. The live edge is a joke and not what they depict in the pics at all. The leg style is completely different than what they advertise. For $921 I should expect decent quality. Had I realized this was from china I would have passed, that's on me, but they make themselves look like a local wood shop. I'm disputing the charge due to false advertising.

Steer clear of this company. Here was my horrible 2 1/2-month-long experience. The desk shipped from China and took over a month to arrive. It was damaged. It was not replaced, and they only offered a 30% refund and told me to use the money to hire someone to fix it locally. They sent the wrong hardware. They said they would expedite the correct hardware. A month later it showed up. The hardware was so flimsy that we had to buy an additional bracket to get it stable (which defeated the purpose of the hinged desktop I purchased - it is now permanently affixed to the wall, which I didn’t want). They are still making me jump through hoops to prove this was all my fault through poor installation). I will NEVER again buy from this company and recommend you don’t either.

I wish I would have read the reviews before buying. 8 days nothing from the customer service. Bought a table and total junk. Falling apart, Cracking everywhere not even 3 weeks old. They wont answer my emails about to take it to the BBB and higher if I need to. Clearly there ripping ppl off with no remorse

I am still receiving emails from this merchant showing screenshots (that are likely fabricated) that the refund is in process..This is basically a criminal enterprise..They are not intending to satisfy the customer in any way..Again, if they were located in the United States jurisdictions, we would have the Local Attorney general activated...

Product taking too long to deliver; going on 4th week now. Comes from China and that part is hidden well. Quality of product is below average. Pay more at Mystic Barrels but get much better quality furniture and made in America.

The biggest issue is that it comes with Incorrect installation hardware. It comes with hardware for cement not drywall, maybe because houses in china are made of cinderblock. No customer service help after purchase, they wither just dont respond or never directly address your issue. Forget trying to return anything you have to pay to ship them back internationally which is expensive. All of the holes in the shelves ordered are different distances apart. And the "Live edge" has saw marks all over it is bot sanded down and does not look as pictured. Its very poor. Very cheap. Orders coming from China so they take 5 weeks to deliver. Better off using any other company as the quality is poor and even if the sales makes the shelves cheaper you are paying more for shipping and buying the correct hardware to install your products after they arrive. This has just been such a waste of time and pain in the butt to deal with.

I was very excited to see these beautiful natural looking wood shelves. It was intended as a Christmas gift. I ordered a month before Christmas. It arrived 6 weeks later, without any shipping date information. After trying to find out where the item was coming from, I realized the company is IN CHINA. I was patient, hoping to get what I ordered. The shelf is nice, but they didn't send the full hardware to mount the shelf. Customer Service was responsive, after a few days, After many communications, I was sent different mounting hardware than was pictured, and it was too big. Even after sending measurements. I give up. I'll try to find my own hardware.

Scam company. On sep/25 I brougth from them a mantel for my fireplace and six matching floating shelves with hidding brackets. After two months waiting, I received a shelves with not predrilled holes and the wrong brackets; besides, the shelves are not well sanded and stained. I went through a painfull and messy process to try to get my money back or the rigth product, they decided to make and send the product according with the original request. Today 1/16/26 I received the second shippment with exactly the same problems: wrong brackets, scratched wood, not predrilled holes. I am dealing with chinese scammers. Please stay away from them

After waiting 6 week 1 of the two live edge wood shelves arrived and it is not live edge wood. It is a piece of wood cut in a perfectly straight line on an angle and then clear coated.

I have been unable to get reimbursed for the second shelf that never arrived and no response to my request to return the shelf even when attaching the return policy on their website.

I wrote a review about long shipping delays/poor productand got this response from the company on trust pilot:

FOLLOWUP: never received a follow up email. When I emailed them, I never heard back. Their response on trust pilot was just another scam to give the appearance they were a responsible company. Buyer beware!!

Agreed with the many reviews siting this company is a scam. Don’t order from them. They present them selves as authentic, high quality, and artisan, but the table I received was damaged and very poorly made of cheap materials. After reaching out to the company they refused to refund my order and instead offered limited refund to appease me.

The table arrived with a visible dent along the live edge. It's not structural, but it becomes noticeable once you're up close and using the table. It's frustrating because everything else about it looked fine at first glance. While I understand this could have happened during shipping, proper protection should have been used to prevent it. Support offered a partial adjustment, but I expected better quality control at this price point.

Not a reputable company. I ordered a desk and console - before I ordered, I asked if they could be made of the same type of wood and stained the same since they would be very near each other in the same room. They e-mailed me confirming yes, they could be. When I placed the order, I noted that in the comments, and e-mailed again saying I had placed the order and confirming the stain/wood. They again replied they had the info and confirmed that is how they would be made.
When I received the two pieces, they were VERY different colors. They also did not include the legs for the console. I e-mailed with my concerns and they told me to send pics of all the mailing labels, and of all the items received, including hardware. Someone else had unpacked them for me and taken the packaging to the recycle center so I no longer had the labels. WoodArt told me there was nothing they could do unless I could provide that. I told them since they shipped the items, they should have the shipping and tracking info, and I did not receive the legs, so I never had a label for that.
They then offered to remake the pieces. I (very generously) told them that was not necessary - I liked the console, so if they could just charge me for the legs and wood for the desk, I would refinish it myself (the total cost of the desk was about $600 and the materials - pine wood and metal legs would cost them maybe $100?). They told me that was great, appreciated my effort to work this out, and that they would refund me $100. The cost of the stain, clear coat and sandpaper were almost $60, so it would be a $40 net refund on top of hours to refinish. We are still arguing about that, they have now said they would give me $200 and that as soon as I accepted that, they would also send me the console legs "with free shipping". They OWE me the console legs, free of charge and with free shipping, no matter where we end up on the desk, but they are "holding the legs hostage" until I accept their offer, which I will not do. It just goes around in circles. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and am waiting for word on that.
It is extremely frustrating - they are just playing games. Do yourself a favor and buy from a reputable source.

Woodartdeal is a Chinese knock off company with substandard quality and terrible customer service designed to steal your money. They sent me a defective product (whiskey round side table) for which two of the legs and cross member cannot be installed. I requested a refund and return info. instead customer service has insisted i am installing incorrectly, after several back and forths and their request for videos showing installation method, they provided installation instructions for the three screws into leg and cross support . However, they obviously didn't even watch my video b/c it showed that even if you installed it the way they asked me to, it still had a huge gap that the screw couldn't even reach the table top to tighten down. They then said that they sent wrong screws which is a total garbage lie. They have since sent three separate packages of screws to try saying that they are different and will allow installation. However, each pack is the same as the original screws. Either they have no idea what they are doing or just trying to act like they are helping. They seem to be trying to wait me out and frustrate me so much that i just go away and they pocket my money after sending me garbage as a product. NOTE: for those that want a real whiskey barrel, this woodartdeal table IS NOT MADE FROM REAL BARREL. it looks ok and will pass, but it is obviously low-end wood and terrible workmanship (which is why mine is defective most likely). Customer service is terrible and again seems to be designed to wear you down until you just don't care anymore. DO NOT PURCHASE. Another company in the US has a real whiskey barrel table of the same design for just a little more and if you find it on sale it’s only a few dollars more (plus there customer service is fantastic, and they want you to actual like their company and product).
