William George Recenzje 

This was my first time winning an online auction. I, perhaps wrongly (!), believed that my item was small enough to be delivered for the minimum delivery fee, I was wrong! The courier firm were insistent on it being delivered on a pallet which, with VAT added would make it far more than the cost of the item I had won in auction plus the auction fees. It made it a very unexpectedly expensive purchase!
I got in touch with William George through their online chat and was fortunate enough to be connected to Sarah, who was extremely friendly, very helpful and she bent over backwards to resolve my issue.
Sarah later telephoned me to talk through the options I had, and even offered to cancel the sale when it became clear that the courier firm were being unfair in what they determined was the suitable delivery option.
With her lovely personality and helpful demeanour, Sarah is truly a credit to William George. It is because of her that I would definitely consider buying from William George again.
I am only deducting one point because of the issues to do with delivery.
If I was measuring the company purely on the customer support I would definitely give it five out of 5.
My only tip to people considering placing a bid on auction items is to check how the item will be delivered and how much it will cost, before placing a bid!

The first time I bought a watch and it was as described.
The shipping was straight forward and done separately through the vendor, no need to get collection services and pay a fortune.

Very impressed with the service offered. Queries still mainly dealt with by online chat facility due to COVID, Both the BOT and then the human (Ellie) much better than I have encountered elsewhere!

Discovered auctions recently they are more addictive than and Ebay and Amazon put together! Bought some stuff from WG and I must say their customer service is excellent. There are real good people there!

After having an inane conversation with a robot it was a pleasure to chat with a human. I have no idea how old Sarah is and I have no idea what she looks like. But, I can assure you she is a credit to William George Auctioneers. Please remember this at Christmas time.
