Wealth Morning deliver a world class analysis of the state of the world which encourages one to invest in the stock market no matter the circumstances. I enjoy reading their weekly emails. A great antidote to the kiwi obsession with property!

Wealth Morning publishes very insightful newsletters with relevant content in particular for New Zealand.

Well written and insightful. It sums up what many of my friends and myself are feeling about this government, the NZHerald and our tv channels, are feeding us- selective and ideologically unbalanced news. The Posie Parker incident was the most recent and egregious example.

I enjoy reading the comments and views that Simon and John provide. They are looking at the world scene from the NZ perspective which complements the views of other generally US based writers. I especially liked John's article on Singapore a few days ago. I don't always agree with Simon but find his and John's views worth reading. Please keep up the good work.

I always enjoy the insightful articles.
Lately I have been horrified at the level of journalism from mainstream media. No where near balanced reporting. It’s good to get Wealth Morning’s view.

NZ biggest problem is Labour being totally controlled by the Maori Elite, even to its own people.
If this continues with a Labour Victory, NZ will empty out.
Disappointing that far too many voters dont educate themselves on the basics of say 3 waters, Health by race,
NZ by lack of proper Press / TV coverage that its now all down to personalities, Sad.

Odpowiedź od Wealth Morning
I like to say I enjoy reading these articles, always with interesting stories leading into a suggested investment opportunity. It was these articles that got me involved in the first place. If younger, I certainly would invest more. A pleasurable company to deal with. Always on the ball with help & communication.

I really enjoy reading the articles and the modern and historic comparisons that are used. Very informative. They cause me to consider investing in companies that I otherwise wouldn't have.

I have been receiving and reading the Wealth Morning daily newsletter for over a year and have found Simon and John to be most insightful and informative and on top of their game where they specialise in overseas investment markets. My confidence in what they report on will now lead me to meet with them with a view to placing them in funds for a managed investment. I am confident they have the expertise to reward my trust in them and produce a good market related return on my investment

I have visited Singapore and was very impressed by the country and its people. Your comment this morning is very insightful and I believe correct. everything in life must be paid for. even freedom. if you dont like the mess, do your best to tidy it up, dont shoot the litterer.
Along with freedom comes resopnsibility

John, what a mind blowing article! Imagine what we could achieve in NZ if we adopted just a hint of the Singaporean mindset. Perhaps we did have this in the past but it's been buried by the RMA, the politically correct and the consultancy philosophy that has strangled our progress as a nation.
I live 15 mins north of Queenstown and have just returned from a couple of days fishing in the canals in the Twizel/Tekapo area. What blew me away was that these canals are major feats of engineering by current NZ standards. How we ever managed to accomplish these projects along with the hydro stations defies belief. I say this in context with the lack of funding or vision needed to upgrading existing outdated infrastructure on Hwy 6 just north of Queenstown. As part of Hwy 6, we have a 1975 two lane bridge over the Shotover River that is jammed to a standstill with local traffic twice a day, and extremely busy during the rest. This is also the main arterial highway between Christchurch and Invercargill. Apart from a tourist drive along the coast through Dunedin and the Catlins, there is no alternative route for traffic wanting to bypass Frankton and Queenstown. And its going to get worse. The government announced three weeks ago plans to fast-track an additional 2400 - 4000 homes on the highway north of this bridge. That's potentially an additional 10 to 16 thousand residents wanting to commute to Queenstown or the new industrial/commercial hub of Frankton near the airport. Many will be working in tourist related activities or in the building industry, driving their vans and utes. They're not likely to abandon these commercial vehicles in favour of the proposed extra cycle ways and more busses! Even with the wealth and the political clout in this town we appear strangled by Waka Kotahi's well intentioned but misguided policies hoping to rid the areas of cars. How can you do this and expect to grow tourism, potentially our biggest revenue generator?
If only we had a fraction of the vision of the Singaporean government or even those who instigated the canal building of earlier days!

Thank you John For the article published this Friday comparing Singapore with New Zealand. It was wonderfully written and has given me much to think about regarding values, the way to think and how to act. The difference between a society which embraces diversity to one of conformity. I will be pondering your points for some time I think. Thank you.
Kind regards,
Janice Marsh

Simon and John know their stuff! Two genuine guys who are conservative in investing while always looking for new opportunities that must stack up. Relationship is the other part of the equation; do we agree on world events? No, but they are willing to listen and (like investing) willing to counter the narrative. I have more confidence in them looking after my money than me. Experience has taught me this!
