After looking at several options I chose Ward Thomas because it was price effective and, more importantly, gave me the sort of personalised communication that I was looking for, because I was abroad. I needed my personal effects, already in long term storage, moved to their long term storage facility, in my absence. I was a bit anxious about it and really appreciated the very friendly and responsive communication with Laura and her colleagues. I was greatly reassured by their efforts, on the day, to follow my requests and to keep me informed. They sent me update photos and I appreciated speaking with one of the removals team, Aurelian. A really great service - thank you so much Laura, Aurelian and all of the team!

Everything from getting the quote to the move was pain-free. The two movers were on time and moved the stuff into the truck with speed and care. The whole move took far less time than I thought it might and the price felt very reasonable.

Friendly and efficient movers, they also helped to set up our bed, sofa and tables which helped a great deal. Would definitely use this company again.

We had booked packers and movers, and David and the crew who turned up on the day were so efficient, helpful and professional. Jonathan, Megan and and the entire removal team were excellent for our move, which involved moving out of a London terrace house, storage for 3 months and finally moving into a house with limited access. The team were very accommodating, efficient, careful and considerate. Would definitely recommend for your next move!

Very professional move by an experienced and friendly team. Handled the full process including boxes, insurance and parking suspension. There are cheaper alternatives, but Anthony Ward Thomas is well worth the price.

Excellent service from the whole team, including Jonathan for initial sale, Megan and Belinda for running the process, and teams led by David and Adam who handled our 3-day move.

We were very impressed with the team. Mario and Alex made the whole process smooth and trouble free and moved everything so quickly. They turned up on the dot and worked really hard, and nothing seemed to phase them.
Alena and Chloe made the admin process easy to complete especially as it was all a bit of a rush.

This is the second time I have used Ward Thomas, first in 2004 and again in 2024.They made an impression back then so why would I choose anyone else?
Silas, Daniel, Ethan and Kestutis got stuck in and completed the move without any glitches. They were willing, pleasant, respectful and professional throughout the process.

Emailed the company for a estimate on a removal and got a email back from a random company called Aussie Man and Van. I replied questioning how they got my information and was told it was my mistake and I must be confused even though the domain of the email address domain and email itself did not reference Ward Thomas at all. This is very poor customer service blaming the customer for you not using the correct email and signature. I will not be using this removal company because of this experience

Reece and Bena were excellent and very professional. They were careful and worked very quickly. They had to lug big furniture up the stairs as the lift was too small, and they were absolute champions. They were patient and diligent throughout even when the move was tough! Everything went so smoothly thanks to them. My heartfelt thanks to them and their hard work! In addition, the customer service team Niamh responded very quickly to my request and was able to arrange the box drop offs and moving date very promptly.

Energetic, effective, thoughtful, helpful.

A complicated move involving storage of our household possessions, which Anthony Ward Thomas handled perfectly. Charlie Parry took admin and logistics charge from beginning to end and took endless phone calls from us with great efficiency and kindness. The packing, stacking and moving was skilled and speedy.
We’ve used them before and would use them again.

Turned up on time and packed up the flat efficiently and fast. Still to see the result of unpacking. Overall, the staff were friendly and efficient.

Branded as a premium service (Anthony Ward/ Master Removers/ Aussie), I would not call it premium.

Staff was nice but exhausted because of bad planning and timing and in the end just stuffed designer item just in boxes or the van while we were charged a premium and things got damaged. After service not existent and rude.
Worst move (and I moved a lot)

We could not have been happier than to ask Anthony Ward Thomas to send a team to remove items from our house we wished to place in storage. The team was not only friendly and polite but carried out the work in a few hours, while giving support and always replying to our queries with courtesy. We commend the company to others. This is not the first time our family has turned to Anthony Ward Thomas and we will be happy to do so again if the occasion arises. Thank you to the team on site and in the office.

Very professional service at a fair price. Abbie in the office was also extremely responsive and helpful. All the moving guys we have been given have always gone above and beyond, as well as being extremely efficient. I have already used them again and would recommend.
