Excellent service both before and during the removal. Everything was packed up very carefully and handled with great care. I would definitely recommend Ward Thomas.

The two movers Jay and Richard arrived on time and carefully packed all the items that needed to be moved. They were both polite and helpful with all our questions and concerns. They moved the items with care. We felt very safe having them move our furniture. The overall experience was very positive and we thoroughly recommend using this company and Jay and Richard to move.

The front office staff were also very helpful - thanks to both Niamh and Alina - very prompt replies to queries and questions.

I cannot speak more highly about my recent experience. I chose Anthony Ward Thomas to move a few items across London that needed specialist handling as incredibly fragile (including an ornate very vulnerable antique mirror). I was very nervous about it surviving the move but the service was incredible from start to finish. Booking experience was excellent they understood the concerns and offered a bespoke crate and also pur me on to a brilliant handyman who could install the mirror once it had been delivered . The movers who came were exceptional. Efficient, expert, arrived bang on time, took care of everything just brilliantly. I am so impressed and will be recommending to everyone.

We used AWT for our move from West London to Essex. We opted for the packing service and David and Jordan came the day before our move and did an incredible job. I really was amazed at how much packing they managed in a day and how quickly they had most of our home safely in boxes.
The wardrobe boxes were a game changer and made life so much easier when we arrived!
Not a single glass was broken as every item was wrapped so carefully (thank you David).
On the day of the move the 8 man team were amazing, friendly, helpful, and worked super quick. They also had to clear a storage garage for us and did so really quickly without us even needing to be there.
I would absolutely use them again, although I hope not to be moving again for a long time!

Anthony Ward Thomas is the best removals company in London in my opinion. I've used them several times and each time I've been extremely satisfied with their service. I was assigned the same team for the last two moves - Barnabas, Erwin, Tamas and Tibor - and they were exceptionally organised, efficient, and careful with moving fragile items. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from our crew Alec, Hassan and Xavier. They were timely, efficient and understanding. Ward Thomas pay more than many removal companies and get better people as a result. It shows.

Charlie Parry of Ward Thomas Removals could not have been more patient and helpful during our rather stressful move, nothing seemed to be a problem and he always got back to me immediately when I contacted him and put my mind at rest. Adam, our team leader was thoroughly efficient, helpful and calm. During the three days of wrapping and moving furniture etc to various different addresses he brought teams who were very hardworking, friendly and polite. Ward Thomas definitely took a lot of stress out of our move and I would recommend them very highly.

I have waited for 2 months to get out of the mental stress AWT created for me so that I could finally write up this review.

I did reach out to make a full complaint as below after one week. However except trying to make some lighthearted comments and propose refund of a broken plate, they didn't follow up with any solution.

I am surprised by the level of service this time, comparing to the previous move with the company.

On day 1, the team claimed to have run out of boxes and left at 3pm, leaving half of the content unpacked.

On day 2, the rush packing in the morning led to toilet brush stacked with Hermes hand towels and door mat on top of the basket full of cashmere and fur scarves.

Some of the furnitures are not protected such as the B&B Husk bed frame which is covered in linen and cotton. The oil paintings were covered by 2 pieces of carton papers, and there were 2 small ones being stacked together with books in a box - and these are not flea market purchases.

It took the lorry one hour to arrive at the new address though it is 5 minute walk away. The driver said there is red sign for lorry at the entrance so he had to contact the office. Again I am surprised as the sign only indicates no entry without access to the houses on the road.

When understanding my bookcase needs to go to the third floor, they insisted that it doesn’t go through. Half of it is left at the house entrance and it is still there now. Then they left without opening the necessity boxes for the evening.

On day 3, again it came a completely different team with only one guy from the day before. One of the team members was alone in my walk-in wardrobe. When I walked in, he had a LV monogram winter boot in one hand and his phone in the other. I am still puzzled what he was doing.

The movers seem mostly good and solid people but they are utterly disorganised and lack of training in handling the delicate. I received an email asking me to leave reviews on Google and TrustPilot. I would like to hear from you first before I post anything. Please also let me know what you could help with the other half of my bookcase at the entrance.

Well they never tried to follow up with that half bookcase and I also found out later that the bed frame was installed wrong that one of the slate boards was placed the wrong direction and the fixtures underneath was also misplaced.

The back office team would argue that I was the one who said no handyman was needed. But it was only because there was indeed no handyman last time when I moved with AWT with exactly the same furnitures and the same configuration of the house.

Moving house is already stressful enough. One would expect to pay more and suffer less. AWT charges quite a lot then leaves the customers alone after they settle the payment.

Really great service. Femi and Rab were brilliant and made the move painless. The took down a large shelf and rebuilt it for me in the new location, and kept going up and down stairs, as well as through the rain. Highly recommended!

A really excellent service all round, the team were always accommodating and willing to reorganise the furniture several times to get the right result.

We had the best experience with this company. From the first phone call to someone coming out to give a quote. Then on the two days of Removals, the guys were more than on time, nothing was to much trouble, worked so quickly, very professional & polite, couldn't do enough for us.

Had a great experience with Anthony Ward Thomas. Booking was fast and straightforward. Movers were lovely- punctual, careful but fast, very efficient, and very friendly. Had several unwieldy and delicate objects (large paintings, a treadmill, and an antique dresser) and these were packed and moved without any issues. Would happily use them again.

Professional, trustworthy and very careful with our possessions. Great experience. We used them to pack our stuff and move out of our London flat (eight flights of stairs and no lift!). It was so convenient to also be able to use their storage facility, as we moved to an Airb&b short term, and therefore didn't have to make our own enquiries of storage solutions. They also provided a cleaning service for our old flat and a handy man to undertake small repairs and do painting. When we found a long term let outside of London, they simply delivered our stuff from their storage facility and all our possessions from the Airb&b. A brilliant, end to end service, no hassle, no complaints just satisfaction! Thank you Anthony Ward Thomas and especially the reliable and ever present Lauren co-ordinating everything!

Barnabus, Michael and the team were amazing from start to finish.They made the whole process seemless and stress free. Precise labelling and packing made the unpacking in our new home very straightforward.
