Wakanow and Lies have a lot in common- Run Run Run - I got the worse service from wakanow. wakanow claimed my ticket SMG749 is non-refundable even when The actual airline is willing to refund. Wakanow claimed airline doesnt refund partially used ticket but the Airline refund policy os 80%~83% but wakanow want to give about 10%. Wakanow service representative had the effrontery to close my case in between complaint and request for and internal service delivery feedback but i have decided to add an external feedback also before contacting Customer Satisfaction Protection agency.

Worst travel agent, they aren’t helpful at all. I helped my friend book a fight of over 754,000 from Abuja to London, him getting to the airport he couldn’t fly because of some circumstances, he didn’t miss his flight, he started contacting them earlier, the airline requested he contacts the agent immediately which he did, he requested immediately for Wakanow to adjust his flight another date in July, they started charging him afresh again, not only that they offer him even way more higher price than his initial payment, what a shame I regret recommending my friend to Wakanow and I can never recommend anyone I know.
They weren’t helpful at all.

No compensation
No help
I will continue to dis market Wakanow until they learn how to treat costumers right.

I tried to buy a ticket and was informed they do not accept £ or $...only after they tried to take payment. They then inform me the payment was cancelled by them. 3days later the money has been taken! "No refund" B.S. when I try to get it back.
SOO ANGRY! I will never use these people! Why can't there be one that is not the stereotype "crook"

I am very pissed. I wanted a change in time flight same day flight. I am asked to pay a full flight fare again.

Waiting for a refund and each time I reach out they try to reduce the value of the ticket refund. This company is fraudulent, be careful

Wakanow name correction

Just a slight mistake on the name we filled they said we must cancel the flight and they are demanding money for refund policy.
I have called the airline and the airline confirm that it can be changed but only buy the agent . Yet they refuse instead they keep telling me to cancel the flight ✈️ so they can remove money in the name of refound policy. The flight I even be is refundable..

The customer service experience was extraordinarily tantalising. I woke up at 3am and was able to chat with one of their staffs ( Madam Inioluwa Pedetin). She was able to assist me with my enquiry on flights to Nigeria from UK. I was gobsmacked to find someone working at that time especially in Nigeria. God bless wakanow for their efficient service.

Worst company you can think off. Bought a return ticket for my mum. She couldn’t return. I asked for a change in date with Qatar airline. I paid heavily for this. On the long run she couldn’t use the ticket at all. I asked for refund. I was asked to go to Qatar airline. But I bought the ticket originally from wakanow. Qatar airlines said they are the ones that needs to put up the refund since 05/11/22 am yet to get this resolved. Useless company

Customer service very awful. On phone for 20mins with now response. 3hours on WhatsApp chat no response

One of my 2 connecting flights was rescheduled from the 04.04.2023 to 05.04.2023 so I had to change the other flight to the same day to avoid the stress of sleeping in another city. I called wakanow to change the ticket to 05.04.2023 it took them 13+ hours to try an resolve the issue without any results. I later called the airline direct to avoid the airline no show penalties 10 minutes before my flight they fixed it in less that 2 minutes. Wakanow is just useless, this is a scam and do not use them. Do travel agencies have overlooking board where they are registered? If yes please send me the number. This is a useless excuse of a travel agency. Please just close down to avoid getting people sick from the stress you cause. Companies like these make the world think less of Nigeria. The give the world an impression that Nigerians are scammers. And now I understand why.

I Bought a ticket from Wakanow to travel from abuja to london, arrived on time at the airport cleared customs, immigration got my boarding pass and sat waiting, the flight was cancelled due to structural issues with the plane, i went wakanow the next day asked for a refund, it took them 13 weeks to give me my money back.. But the refund was 108k naira short/less. to date they cannot say why i was not refunded in full.

This is the WORST travel agency i have ever dealt with. I emailed them on 28 December requesting a cancellation and refund which they ignored. I had to nag everyday until, AN ENTIRE 3 WEEKS LATER, a customer service rep contacted me and admitted that they didn’t put through the refund request. Now, 4 weeks later, i still have no idea what the status of my refund is because they keep making excuses. I truly hope nobody supports this company because they will be majorly inconvenienced!

They are scammers, Thieves and opportunist and extortionist. People should run away from them. There service is very bad.
My brother walked into their office in Lagos few month back to booked a ticket from Lagos to London, paid about 1 million Naira for two people ticket, their staff that booked the ticket for him that day booked his ticket from London to Lagos, instead of from Lagos to London.
He contacted them when he got the itinerary, told them that they booked him for a wrong route. Wakanow staff said, they can re-route him but will pay about 3million Naira. Eventually he told them to cancel the flight, lo and behold, they said out of 1 million Naira he paid for the ticket, they can only refund one hundred and thirty Naira(130).
Another name for Wakanow agency should be Scammers, I wish there is a review rate of -(minus), below 0.

First I wish there was an option for Zero star, these people are scammers, booked a local flight from the WAKANOW app , payment went through and for over 6hours no ticket was issued , then I got furious and started calling then the First Lady that answered assured me I will get my ticket in 5mins I was a bit calm but got frustrated after an hour and yet no ticket, I started calling again no response only to receive an email that they couldn’t book my flight because of some reason I don’t understand, yet this same flight was still showing on the app, only for me to receive another email that they had booked another airline for me without my consent and that I have to pay an additional fee almost half the initial amount paid, then I tried to request for refund but was told it will take 3weeks to process and I won’t be getting full refund , I was forced to make an additional payment because I needed to travel in two days . Avoid WAKANOW by all means. They are scammers. Customer service is Zero , only the last guy I spoke to managed to talk nicely so I would pay the extra fee , a well planned scam.

Very poor company, they made me missed flight booking back then. I came across their profile on TrustPilot so I decided to drop honest review regarding their service.

If there was zero star that’s what they deserve very bad customer service book a ticket that got canceled and they didn’t inform anyone we followed them to get money back and they start story worst customer service they lack respect and honesty, they need to train those staff about customer service

Terrible service. Paid for my flight in full but was not sent my ticket despite calling to confirm payment on several occasions. Took 3 weeks of calling to get it sorted. Was exasperated by the end of the ordeal.

these guy have to have to the worst ticketing agents in the industry. it took an agent 2hrs to respond to a message on telegram. By the time we had communicated 3 messages each on bith side it was alreas 16hrs.(This is not a joke.)I later switched to their whatapp, i encounter tye exact same problem. I called couple of their lines 0703 009 5727 0702 841 3705 No went thru. My advice, if you cant have a good communications team close up these communication channels and stick with in person only.

Wish I read the reviews before I paid! NEVER book here!!! they put up prices that are very attractive, you book and pay, then suddenly, the price has changed. They claimed it changes often, but old price is still on the website, when you call they pput you on hold and leave, hang up and even heard laughing in the backgroud. such a shame my people
