Nice way to get vinyl for bands that you wouldn’t normally listen to

After reading a few of the negative reviews I was naturally apprehensive, but I’m glad I gave it a try. Received an eclectic mix as part of the free bonus gift on a year’s subscription which I am really happy with and thoroughly enjoyed what I received as part of the subscription. I would say if, like me you aren’t too well up on the various artists but want to broaden your record collection with records that are recommended by them then go for it. Here’s hoping the following months go as smoothly as the first.

Seamless sign up. Love that you can veto 2 albums incase you already have them/severely dislike an artist 😂 love love love the concept also great value for money. Can't wait for my next box

Very impressed, only just started my subscription but my first box was very good! Not a duff album in the whole pile! I've already played my favourites from the box to my friends and they too like the idea and the music!

Look I see the negative reviews and I see you. A lot of people aren’t going to like some of the selections of boxes BUT when they have a box for your specific taste, they really shine!

I was looking through the site for a few days on the fence about trying it out, looking at the current boxes spotting a couple artists I knew but most I never heard of UNTILL I stumbled onto the 90’s hip hop collection (the website was bugging at the time not showing the records included in the box, which I think may still be an issue)
I am a massive hip hop head so decided to take a leap of faith and order, two days later the box shows up at my door

I received Nas - Illmatic, A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders and The Pharcyde - Bizzare Ride II
3 classic hip hop records, one of which I hadn’t even considered getting on vinyl but I’m so glad to have it now

Honestly the most frustrating subscription service I’ve ever used. A paid for a year up front and everything went smoothly for the first couple of months, then all of a sudden I get an email saying my subscription has been cancelled (without any mention of a refund). I then reached out via email and got a bot email back saying something along the lines of ‘thank you for confirming, we have now cancelled your subscription.’ After panicking and sending another email to customer service, I got an email back from an actual human apologising and saying he has reactivated my subscription. HOWEVER, just when I thought all was fine I tried selecting vinyl’s for this month and ONCE AGAIN received an email saying my subscription has been paused because of a billing issue. It’s almost as if they take your money up front and then avoid sending you vinyls that YOU’VE ALREADY PAID FOR!! At this point I just want a refund for the money remaining and want to be rid of this awful company.

Generally good and mostly happy with vinyl received, little slow on customer support and knowing when the selection period and delivery is going to be (changes a bit every month) but sure this will get ironed out. Worth a shot

It’s a great way to build your vinyl collection, but remember there will be times you won’t be happy with all the choices sent. I’ve only had one box so we will see what happens next month - I do like the mystery behind it.

Awesome service, great packaging which others should take note of. Great selection, with more diversity to come I hope!

Great choice of records available in this VinylBox and, with 2 already in my collection that I received in previous VinylBoxes, I was really looking forward to getting this one… and I wasn’t disappointed, 2 more great records!

I love vinyl box. As an 18 year old who is trying to grow her vinyl collection this monthly subscription is perfect and great for finding both new and old music. Oh and of course listening to it in the best way possible, through good old fashioned vinyl. Would 100% recommended vinylbox to any collector or music lover. 💞

Very poor selection. Clearly they send albums no one is buying. My wife bought as a gift without understanding the scheme. Not really with it unless you have money to burn.
