From the very start at the beginning of my enquiry through to completion and beyond I can only say what a delight to work with!
ALL my ( many ) questions answered before, during, and after signing and installation.
All the benefits of a smaller company in that everyone knows your name but with the depth of knowledge that delivers a bespoke system. That in turn is batting higher than I'd expected ( having put panels on last home).
Each stage the person in front of you listened and delivered.
Golddust in this day and age ! Well done to all at Viking !

My son in law used Viking for his battery install. It was something I had thought about previously. once I had seen the job they had done I was very impressed so got them booked in . It was a fast turnaround . Installation went as planned no problems I’m nearly a month in and have told friends and family if there thinking of solar or batteries to give them a call. Viking were recommended to me by a relative who had used their services. From my first contact with Viking until our system(s) went live I could not fault the service we received. We live fairly remotely, they agreed to come survey, discuss options and quote. We discussed options on size of the installation and they were forthright with advice when they thought I was over specifying. No sales pressure just solid friendly advice. Once specs agreed and schedule set everything went to plan. Installation team were friendly and informative. I had put off getting solar installed mainly due to concern who to trust to do it. Now we are live and we have a neat well installed system I am very satisfied. We are 3 weeks in and they have stayed in contact checking if we have any concerns or questions. Well done guys! Been a pleasure.

We were directed to Viking by GivEnergy after another company went cold- the contact and communications have been excellent throughout. Really clear discussion over the telephone to get an idea of what we were looking for, transparent costs from an early stage as well.
Chris came out to visit and was not in a rush, really thorough and helpful chat- then booking process with Stuart was easily done with the team arriving promptly and cracking on with the installation.
Battery enlargement and EV charger installation completed and working great. Follow up to ensure all going to plan as well.
Have already recommended to friends nearby who are considering solar/EV- would recommend to everyone

Did an excellent job, took longer to install extra battery & auto mains switch to my system. Was informed with everything they were doing as needed to keep power off for as short as time as medical equipment in the house.👍

Excellent service from first site visit to post-installation documentation. Communication faultless throughout. Roofers and electricians worked like Trojans to complete the installation in a single day and were only defeated by the failing evening light. Back the following day to finish off. Everything left very tidy.

We are absolutely delighted with the advice and installation of our PV system. It was a very professional experience and the excellent install team noticed a major defect in our overhead supply line. They reported this to Scottish Power who fixed on the same day too. Having access to the app to see the power we are generating and returning to the grid is addictive! We highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a PV system, and we'll be getting them back to install an EV charging point for our guests staying in the farm cottages.

I used Viking for Solar panels and electric car charging point for a new build house. I arranged various quotes for the work and Viking came in the best price. They were easy to contact, any on-site visits they always showed up when they said they would and called me when they were on the way. My solar had to be installed in 2 stages, the roof panels when the house/roof was being installed and then they came back and arranged the electrical connection and internal work once the electrics were connected in the house. I would 100% use Viking for any future work.

The standard and level of communication was exemplary from the outset. This gave us the reassurance and confidence to proceed with the installation.
On the day, the team worked collaboratively in very hot conditions.The care they took was obvious and all our questions were willingly answered.

I’m very pleased with the service, delivery and fitting of my solar panels. I don’t have a battery but last month, June 2025, my electricity bill was £64, I exported £84 meaning my electricity supplier paid me £20 with no electricity bill. This included charging my car throughout the month. I am over the moon. Thank Viking

Excellent service from start to finish. Initial consultation from chris & nick was good very knowledgeable about all different options available to me. Installation was a breeze with the roofing team and Darius the electrician. Final support from Stuart in setting up my SEG tariff was also flawless. Highly recommend this company. No pushy sales like I experiencing with several other companies.

Viking Electrical Contractors installed solar panels and battery for our house. We chose them because they put the best proposal for quantity of solar panels and size of battery that would suit our requirements. Their price was competitive and they did not attempt to pressure us in to an immediate decision. The installation was very efficient and included the electrician having to resolve a settings issue with our router. To date, system is working very well. We’re very pleased.

When i first read the trustpilot, I could not believe a company could be so good. However, having just had my battery installed I can say that Viking have been amazing from the very start of the process to now. Recently had a solar and battery installation from Viking. Very happy with the whole process and already seeing the benefits. Professional service throughout from the consultation to the tradesmen who did the installation. Would recommend.

People very friendly and helpful. Minor issue with installation because if an issue with battery supply from manufacturers but all installed without fuss.
We had some issues after installation, possibly due to low temperatures ( anything below 16°C can cause issues with battery charging and discharging) that are still not completely resolved.
The support from the manufactures of the battery and inverter has been poor so I would not recommend Fox ESS equipment, although it may be working correctly. I have asked them to confirm what we are seeing is 'expected' but no response.
Having said that the ability to monitor and look back at all aspects of the system is excellent

From the very first visit from Chris through to the final connection by Darius and Ava our experience of Viking was first class, The information provided was clear and helped us to decide to install solar. The work was completed in a speedy and efficient way. We were kept informed throughout the process. The site of the work was left tidy and clean. We are now seeing our panels generate electricity and thats a great feeling.

Great company to deal with. No nonsense sound advice, with no sales hype. Installation was smooth and the guys couldn't have done better. Looking forward to many years of harvesting the energy of the sun, and optimising energy management.

Nairn and team were very professional from start to finish of the project and always took the time to explain each stage of the project and any changes required to ensure a successful result. All the team were experienced, hard working and very tidy. I am very pleased with the result - the “in roof” system both looks great and delivers the expected output. I would recommend Viking without hesitation!
