Very Disappointed
These are the worst shoes I’ve ever bought. I wore them for a short walk on a slightly wet field — not soaked, just damp — and the shoes got wet almost instantly. On top of that, they stained badly and now look awful. For the price, I expected at least basic durability and water resistance. They’re definitely not worth the money. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere

My Vessi runners were so comfy from the very first time I wore them…and that was for a long hike! I have worn them since on wet grass while watching a rugby game and found that they were, as advertised, waterproof! My feet stayed dry and cozy.

Full disclosure I haven't received my shoes yet. It has been over a month since I placed my order for two pairs of shoes. I reached out to vessi customer support to see if this was normal, if they were having issues I wasn't aware of, or if my package had maybe gotten lost. It happens I get it. I gave them all of he information they needed in their preliminary question sheet and then told them what the tracking number was telling me about my order (that it hadn't had any updates in 14 days). I was met with an AI response that only regurgitated the information I had already given it - super helpful. It just basically told me to wait, and didn't have anything else to say. I'm disgusted by this brands use of AI in order to deal with customer concerns, and also just disgusted by AI in general.

I have been wearing Vessi’s for about three years. I live on Vancouver Island and our winters are very rainy. I walk my dog every day. These shoes have kept my feet dry over the years. Any concerns with the shoes have been quickly and satisfactorily rectified by the Vessi staff. I highly recommend this product.

Ordered shoes for upcoming trip. They were returned without ever arriving. They sent out again and have been in transit for 5 days after arriving at local fed ex office. Label issue caused delay as others have mentioned. AI support not helpful.says they are due to arrive 6 days ago . If they ever arrive I will return and never deal with them again. They’ve had my money for over a month now

Placed an order 7/24/25 and a few days later got an email that their system was not updated and they ran out of stock. Ordered a different color and then after sitting at customs for days tracking said recipient not located so it was being sent back. I was told it was due to a label issue and wouldn’t happen again. A new order was sent out and again it was returned to sender and now they say it’s due to labels and how they tape the package causing their dimensions to be off and then blames it on the tariffs. Customer service does nothing. Most replies are from AI. After searching online this appears to be very common with them!

Vessi's goal is to scam people! The tracking link from my order shows the package has been delivered to the sender's mailroom in British Columbia, not to me. This is a problem for two reasons. For one, I have already been charged $151 (fully charged, not pending) for this order that never even left Canada. Secondly, this same thing happened with an order I previously placed with Vessi in June. I was charged for the order, it was marked as delivered (after waiting weeks for the delivery that was never actually on its way), and Vessi never contacted me to let me know that the shoes I ordered were out of stock. I, as the customer, had to reach out to their customer service to inform them of THEIR mistake. All I received was an apology and my money back. While this doesn't really make up for the error, I was able to forgive this the first time, as I figured it was a fluke. Now that it has happened AGAIN, and I've waiting now nearly 2 months to even receive a pair of shoes, I have no choice but to believe that their way of doing business is designed to steal people's money and never actually deliver the product. I will be boycotting Vessi from this point forward. Which is a shame, because I purchased a pair a few years ago that I absolutely love. They're going to quickly go out of business if they don't fix this soon and stop scamming people out of their money!

I ordered a pair of shoes in December and they came quick and I loved them. So fast forward to July 2 and I decided to order a pair for disc golf. Here we are 19 days later and the first pair are "lost in customs" after bouncing around there for a few days. They claimed to ship a second pair but haven't received info and they won't respond to emails. If you haven't ordered a pair yet don't waste your time or money, buy something else. As I can see here I'm not the only one with this exact issue.

Like another person who just posted, we ordered shoes on July 3. We watched the tracker and saw that the shoes were bouncing around customs. This morning, I discovered that after two weeks in transit, they have now been sent back to the shipper because "recipient not located at address provided". What a load of crap! The address is correct and we were home all day. There was no attempt to deliver to our home. Ironically, a piece of luggage I ordered from Canada arrived just fine yesterday, so clearly it's not a problem getting merchandise over the border. Who knows if their product is any good, but their delivery sucks.

Update: I was able to get ahold of them via chat. The shipment was returned to the warehouse. They have created a new order and hopefully will send FedEx.
Shoes shipped within expected time, but sat in customs for several days over the 4th of July holiday (expected). Now when I check for an update, the package is being returned because "Recipient not located at address provided. Item being returned to sender". How ridiculous is that!! You should ship to other countries via FedEx, UPS, or DHL. They have no trouble finding me!!! No way to contact you about the problem.

I purchased two pairs of shoes in June 2025 but neither pair made it to me (USA). The first pair was shipped from Vancouver and cleared customs in LA, but was then sent to Zurich, then Stockholm, then returned to Vessi in Vancouver. The second pair was sent from Toronto and entered the USA in Chicago, where the package sat for two weeks before being returned to Toronto, per the USPS: “…because it could not be delivered as addressed.”
Vessi’s customer service (phone and chatbot) is all AI based and is frequently unavailable and/or unhelpful. They eventually refunded the first pair of shoes but I had to file a complaint with the BBB and chargeback the second pair. Vessi admitted they’re having shipping delays and other shipping issues AFTER I filed the complaint but their website still states 7-12 day shipping times and information about possible customs delays or other shipping problems is buried in the ‘Tariffs and Customs’ section in their FAQs. I find this pretty troubling because it looks like Vessi’s still accepting orders without anything other than a shaky prospect of fulfillment; that’s important information that should be clearly stated and highly visible.
I’ve purchased several pair of Vessis in the last 18 months, but I’m done with them.

Only one star because I can’t give them zero! Ordered almost a month ago and still no product. First time it was returned to sender before getting in the US and second time it has been sitting in the same spot in Canada for over 2 weeks. Not worth the hassle for the price!

While the Vessi shoes I purchased stand up to their waterproof hype, I can't say they are my go-to shoes. I purchased the courtside sneakers and I find them to be tight across the top and by the end of the day, a bit uncomfortable. I've worn them enough that they should have "molded to my feet like comfortable socks" by now. Further, I find the customer service a bit lacking. I accidentally ordered under the incorrect email address. The authentication systems Vessi has set up make it impossible for me to correct this. Even though I reached out to customer service for help on this matter, no one has offered any help or support to help me fix this. In short, I won't be placing a 2nd Vessi order.

Terrible first experience with Vessi. The white shoes that I bought were half pink. These shoes do not look new and they sent me a damaged pair.

Vessi shoes looked like the answer to my footwear dilemma. But it was a total bust. First off they are pricey, secondly they use “shop” for shipping and returns…which in theory is great, but I find “shop” leaves a lot of questions and information out. In general “shop” makes me feel like the product will just be some hoax or not high quality, but one doesn’t have a choice in these matters! I chose a style that was in stock to ensure that I’d get them on time and I followed their recommendation of going up a half size especially since I know that my orthotic insert can make shoes fit tighter. I got notification that the shoes wouldn’t arrive until days after my trip. Very annoying since they said they’d come in 5-7 business days and they notified me about 12 days after I placed my order. By some miracle they arrived the day before I was leaving and they were a terrible fit. They were humongous. They are extremely wide, plus the length was too long…and that was with my orthotics and fat socks. Plus I expected them to look really nice for $119…and frankly they looked cheap. Forget the instagram hype & ads…just go to a store where can see & try what you’re getting. These are just not woth the hassle.

Day 1: shoes chaffed heels so badly they could only be worn for an hour or so.
Day 2: I wore higher socks in hopes that they would not chafe my heels but this helped only slightly.
Day 3: chafing stopped if I wore a higher socks in rise sock with them. If you wear low rise, the rubber/ leather material on the heel hauls your sock down causing it to chafe. I am experiencing numbness in my toes while wearing these shoes. They are the narrow style but do not feel too tight on my feet.
Day 4: after 4 hours of wear my feet were sweating so badly I had to change my socks (I assume this is because of the waterproof material, they are not breathable.
Because they were on sale ($96), they are only available for exchange. However, I don’t feel like a different size will change my experience with this shoe. It’s not for me.
