Spent 18 months doing nothing but change case handlers then in oct 2024 wherevwa8ting for a court date, in November where waiting on a settlement offer from the landlord then in January 2025 discontinued action. So somehow it went from definitely an easy win to cant be done

Al lVeritas did was lie and waste my time , it's taken 3 months 2 emails ( never replied to) and 5 calls to get a copy of the paperwork which is just the surveyors report. Nothing from them to the landlord nothing from the landlord to them

Spent an hoiur on hold to achieve nothing on Friday 28th, spent another 20 mins on hold today to get a sms saying they are short of staff because of EID and to email the case handler who hasn’t responded to any email so far

Yes it was discontinued due to low prospects what I don't see is how it went from easy win to waiting forca court date to waiting for a settlement offercto low prospects when nothing has changed

I originally asked for the file in January . I rang in February twice and March 3 times

No you haven't supplied the file on the 28th March you sent another copy of the letter ceasing action due to low prospects.

Really good solicitors keep your updated with everything. Answer your queries very fast and I give a big thank you to Mr Rahman who was fighting my case he won and I managed to get my compensation and repairs done. I’m very happy thank you very much. I recommend these solicitors highly x

Stay well away from thess don't have a clue when it comes to communication replying back to emails and don't include everything in the statement had about 10 different advisors on my case not very good

After moving into my property, I was left with mould damp water coming through my walls condensation doctor told me I had mould poisoning which is really bad for any landlord to leave their tenant living in so I decided to turn for help. Wish I hadn’t turned to these people for help waited all of this time For nothing they think about their pockets before their clients!!!

I would not recommend these people whatsoever daylight robbery Say one thing to you then another then another completely disgrace for a company

I have been waiting for years for my claim to be settled made a claim for my loss of oven after it went completely mouldy on me and my landlord would not do anything about it, but these people asked me if I wish to make a claim for it and they have only gone off and taken money out of that so I basically lose out on that part as well what a complete joke Not once they said to me from day one, they will take money out of my claim for my oven they are sneaky and liars. Stay away from them.

To corroborate fraudulent signatures by peoples in known, I suspect it was the canversers, so the got their commission

Reasonable rates went for more that was asking got and paying me back a refund because it was too much.

Absolutely fantastic service from Liam at Veritas Solicitors. Liam kept me up to date throughout and was always happy to explain the process and reassure me. With his help, I now have all the repairs carried out in my property and compensation for the amount of time I've had to wait for the repairs to be completed. I was ignored by the landlord before Veritas Solicitors became involved. A great result.

Started my claim with my legal claim and after two years I got a email saying Veritas Solicitors will now be handling my case and since signing the document I haven’t received any updates from them which is very disappointing and unprofessional

If its the same Veritas Solicitors LLP which misrepresented my housing disrepair case and advised me not to take a £1000 offer from Hackney Council
before they closed my case without a penny and days off work and out of pocket fixing repairs during Veritas waffle

I had a housing disrepair claim with veritas solicitors, I had a bad experience from them they dealt the matter in very unprofessional way, they took more than half of my compensation, first they say we are no Win no fee then they ask you to sign a insurance dacoment which would cover their expenses in case you loose and whether you win or loose you have to give that insurance money too on top of their 25% (£500) and insurance money separately which is more than £1000 you need to pay to solicitors , when I complain they handle it in very unprofessional way a lady call me and insist that it was my fault I should read the dacoments carefully although I explain they didn’t outline clearly that I have to pay all this amount and insurance too, I had very na experience , never go for them for your claims you would regret .
