Valla’s online live on Tik Tok were super to help with advice and really interactive to support through my tribunal process. I never paid anything but it was so helpful to know that if I was unsure of something that I could pop online and ask and have a conversation and support. Thank you.

Valla is certainly a genuine advocate for those undergoing Employment issues in the workplace. I believe the intention is good and motivation in helping those in need is there. More and more organisations like these should exist. Where I think it could add value is to have specialists who can provide guidance on specific complex claims such as in Discrimination Claims. My coach was good and worked with the best of their abilities and to the best of knowledge. There was uncertainty, however, once we were deep into the paste, in determining whether the claim would have prospects at the FH or not. It was a "first of its kind" and "very complex", which is fair enough. Although my confidence level about my claim having reasonable prospects of success was quite high before reaching out to Valla and due to the strong evidence I had, I felt I needed more 'confirmation' thereafter. This is not necessarily down to the coach. Absolutely not. I think they were very good on matters they knew and had faced before and their advice helped in moving some things forward in the process. But I think the issue was more in the allocation of coaches with the relevant exposure to a certain claim! I don't know how the selection process is done internally but I believe that whoever reads the summary of the case, and everything that may have been uploaded on the portal, the file should then be routed to the 'correct' coach for the sake of relevance and optimisation as opposed to "whoever is available for the chosen slots".

Valla has twice literally pulled me back from the cusp of a mental health meltdown.

There’s no ‘therapy’ like the tribunal support group webinars, as you hear fears, difficulties and questions you thought only belonged to you aired by what feels like comrades all rooting for each other.

The coaching packages are amazing value for money, with several hours costing less than the hourly charge of many lawyers.

Anyone who, like me, when about to speak with a lawyer is dreading feeling almost as if they / their case doesn’t fit amongst the ‘big people’ really should pause and weigh up whether representing themselves with coaching and support from Valla would be less stressful.

The first thing I felt was indescribable relief that coach Michelle was listening wholeheartedly. Her manner of informal (though highly professional) chat was the antidote to the above-mentioned fear. She was so obviously fluent with the tribunal ‘machine’ and how Respondents operate. As we went over my documentation, she had the measure of what to focus on, where to not overthink, etc.. She was so clear and concise, as she gave me pointers on what to consider and on the sort of wording to use, with me putting it into practice live on my draft ‘request for specific disclosure’. By the end of the coaching session, I was equipped to complete my writing in half the expected time and know it was hitting the mark.

Before I turned to Valla, the Respondent had implied that my request was unreasonable, in asking me to put it in writing formally with explanations of how the many documents/items of data/info sought related to my claim. I am sure that the main reason the Respondent has not even acknowledged receipt for 4 weeks since receiving it is that they know as well as I do just how solid it is. This is thanks to Michelle’s skilful guidance, as is the fact that I know what to do about their non-responsiveness.

I am just stunned at the way Michelle took me out of a state of despair and malfunctioning, the speed with which I hit the ground running as we parted company and how much more confident I feel about the whole tribunal challenge ahead, even as I type.

I cannot thank Valla and Michelle enough for so obviously turning lives around with this astounding service.

Valla.uk? how would I rate them? this only goes up to 5*, I do believe they are what a working person needs, unless you want to spend £5-£10k on lawyers. then this is a fantastic affordable alternative.

I firstly contacted Villa after my daughter had issues with her employer, they guided me through ACAS to start with, then as some aspects weren't addressed, I decided to go for the Tribunal. So far I've paid for several chargeable services. And the benefit has been reassuring and extremely beneficial to my daughter's case, where I am her representative. All my interactions from the live chat, to 1-2-1 coaching has been exactly what I needed.

I have read through a lot of the negative comments regarding Villa, I really believe that Villa are going to be successful, I think many of the people writing negative reviews need to manage their own expectations. As its us that do the admin, us that find the evidence, us or together evaluate the evidence and with Valla's help on how I will present it. As there's nothing like this anywhere else on the market, I believe others are treating Valla like a legal firm (negative comments), it's not. Villa will not be sitting beside you at the court room/ Tribunal etc. But they will get you in the best possible position to represent yourself.

From Danae, the CEO to all the rest of the team, I really believe the public have been waiting for something like this for a long time. and I wish You all the very best and success in the world!

I have used a few of Valla’s paid for resources and whilst on the face of it helpful, I don’t believe they quite hit the mark.
For example, I had a Merits Assessment which is undertaken by a legal professional. I won’t name names here but I was unimpressed with experience. The legal coach was 10 mins late to my appointment with no acknowledgement or apology offered. The conversation itself was fine but when I received the typed up assessment, they had used my maiden name from my email address despite my account being in my married name and the document was full of typos. I have had to share that document with others involved in my claim and feel I have to include a disclaimer to acknowledge the lack of care taken in producing the document. My claim was assessed as having good merits and worth proceeding to tribunal. I’ve since ended up paying for legal help and have been advised that my claim is not as strong as I was advised and that I should lower my expectations.

I also booked the PH prep package for help with my list of issues and found the legal coach’s attitude to be very curt. It appears Valla only have 2 coaches as I was initially allocated to the same one did my Merits assessment but I asked for swap based on my precious experience.

I also agree that the ET1 template is not up to legal standard. My claims were pulled apart in my PH and I was even informed that one of my claims didn’t exist!

I also found the timeline to be a nightmare to meaningfully use when drafting my ET1 because there was no way to review all of the events in timeline related to each claim until you export it to word. They may have fixed this now but if not, I have an idea for how it could work better!

The online help and Valla Services helped me greatly as a litigant in person. Solicitors are so expensive that having some affordable legal advice was really useful and helped keep my resolve. Masumah helped me with the list of issues, and I believe this greatly helped me achieve the settlement I wanted.

Less than a week ago whilst searching the internet desperately for information we stumbled across Valla and thank goodness we did!!
We have already had 2 meetings with Smaira and she has given us invaluable support and advice. Valla helped me after my legal support for the case dropped out. They provided instant advice in terms of pointing out legislation on overriding objectives of the court, and I was able to put this in front of the court. They advised me on cross-examination and helped me with a without-prejudice letter and deposit order application. I should be able to recoup these costs from the respondent. I've already recommended them to others who are considering an ET. Valla is an invaluable, accessible service run by people who give a damn! Hope Valla can continue to grow and develop in what can be an unscrupulous market and unscrupulous employers.

Where to start, Valla helped me find the information and preparation I needed to stand up for my rights, to get justice for myself. With Valla's website I was able to plan my evidence in connection with the laws that were relevant to my case. I was able to draft a cost order application, which made a big difference with my confidence while similar tactics were being used to intimidate me. 100% you should visit Valla's Snapchat page and join the live webinars. Each one I attended gave me more strength, more knowledge, more confidence. I also emailed Valla for advice and they would also email me just to check-in. Having realised that I spoke with Jade over two years ago when my nightmare begun, and to speak with her again now when it's come to a close made the experience with Valla so personal. What great people. They're an incredible team who actually care and want to help you be prepared. I can't thank Valla enough for their support and the information, templates, legal knowledge, etc that they make available.

l am concerning about personal data leaking. It is not necessary to upload the evidence and personal info. Valla's ET1 drafting service is not up to legal standard.

Tried this company as currently going through employment tribunal and honestly don’t know if I will pay for more support. Jade has been great but the one to ones not so great. I felt like I was talking to someone who had no understanding or interest in my case to be honest.

Valla provided instant access to support the day before an important tribunal deadline. I was actually quite traumatised by this stage so I can’t thank Jade enough for her response, patience, speedy intervention and advice as this allowed me the opportunity to progress my case through to the preliminary hearing. I believe that you not your team had to indure gaslighting, grooming to loose yourself completely. Only to find out at the end that the platform that I really liked and got help from blocking me for a reason of being rude and aggressive. I have a Interim relief hearing on 18th. The judge was in and out the chambers and I had no help nor support from you and from your team. No support.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Smaira Younis, who really has been great in answering my questions and helping me to prepare for my case management preliminary hearing. I came across Valla on YouTube and was very encouraged by their clear and very helpful advice/guidance. When needed a bit more support for my PH case management, I contacted them and the whole team has been very responsive, prompt and helpful. I stumbled on to Valla through Youtube when I was doing research for my own case. I found them shortly after my first preliminary hearing so somewhat late in the process but I purchased a Merits Assessment. Given the pittance I paid for it, I wasn't expecting much but Michelle Craig's written assessment was extremely thorough and comprehensive. She certainly did her homework and she was so professional yet supportive during our meeting.

Smaira is very attentive and has often been able to schedule meetings with me at short notice. Smaira has supported me with the preparation of my full hearing but equally has provided me with sound advice around other things such as my grievance process at work. I find that Smaira has a way of explaining the legal terminology in a way that I understand which is very refreshing

I cant emphasise how much I appreciate the help and support this company gave me. I joined live Webinars which were so useful but also help you not to feel alone in a process like this. They answered any questions quickly on an instant chat, and offered very reasonable extra coaching packages. I settled just before my hearing but I wouldnt of got that far without Vallas support.
