They mismanaged my book, it started with not reading submission. They released a book that was only 80 pages ,when corrected still released 4 weeks after official launch date. I got lied to repeatedly,my character art was subjective racist in not showing the correct depiction,no reviews or outlets have ever heard of my book. So the promotion is lies. They send a sheet of supposed promotion never executed. I'm taking them to court,and demanding money back and have not 🚫 heard from them since. Self publish use Fiverr and I work,these people were horrible. I have proof and putting up website this week with others rallying to get this place exposed for the scam it is. Got calls about upsells and book tours but nothing more. Project managers were a joke. I'm getting out contract,archiving books and starting by myself. Worst experience ever! If I could give negative stars I would 😞

Navigating the world of U.S. publishers can be a minefield, especially for new authors. My experience was a stark lesson. Many so-called publishers dangled promises of broad distribution and literary acclaim, but only after asking for exorbitant sums upfront. This is not how real publishing works. Traditional publishers don't charge authors to publish their work—instead, they invest in your book, handle editing, design, and marketing, and pay you royalties.

The ones who demand money up front? Those are vanity presses. Their business model depends on extracting fees from aspiring writers, not on the real success of your book. I watched as costs inflated for services that, frankly, weren't worth it—editing that was cookie-cutter, cover design that looked generic, and "marketing" that amounted to a press release few people ever saw. For some, the cost of seeing one book in print was ridiculous.

Fortunately, I caught on before falling into their trap. The takeaway: never pay a legitimate publisher up front. Do your research, ask for proof of their track record, and remember—any supposed publisher who requests money to publish your book is in the business of selling dreams, not books. Be aware and be smart. Your story deserves better.

After a bad experience with another publishers, I was hesitant to try again. USA BOOKS PUBLISHING restored my faith. They handle all the technical details so i could focus on writing. Because they have gone the lengths they have with publishing THREE of my Christian fiction novels at a VERY reasonable price to include LOTS of promotional work for 7 months, I have checked several other sources for reviews. ALL seem very positive! It has also been helpful to communicate with another author who is on Facebook.

I sent my two books to Tyler and Jennifer for reprinting of copies. They threw my books away and are both ignoring my texts and calls. These were the only copies of both books. I am so disappointed in this company and so heartbroken. Avoid them!!
