Created by a woman for women, Unique Vintage celebrates the iconic, flirty fashion of the past with modern, ready-to-wear designs for today’s woman. Started in 2000, uniquevintage.com was founded by Katie Echeverry, a vintage fashion lover who would spend her weekdays working in pharmaceutical sales and her weekends on the hunt for vintage dresses to sell on the website she had started as a fun weekend hobby. In August 2015, Unique Vintage unveiled its first major renovation since its initial opening. Terrible experience with ‘customer service’ which was almost certainly a bot. The order never arrived and they never even emailed me to say there was a delay (which was several weeks) or when the order was then cancelled. The only reason I eventually got the money back was because I complained through the bank. Never ever order here, it is a complete scam.
My 2 year got my phone payed for almost $400.00 of merchandise.
It was early and I was getting ready for work. I also trying to get my daughter ready for daycare. I went to the unique vintage site. I had entered close to $400 worth of merchandise ,which I intended on using affirm to manage payments. Well long story short I left my phone and my two-year-old grabbed it and went ahead and paid for the purchase without affirm. There was no way to cancel it and I was frantic because there were no customer service representatives available till 9 AM. I had to start work at 9 AM. I sent a couple emails impatiently waiting for response. Finally It came to my attention that there was a timezone difference. It wasn't but a few hours later and this big blooper was fixed. I was so relieved and happy that unique vintage helped me out. These kids I'll tell ya! Lol
Great customer service!
I put in my first order with them and eagerly awaited my outfits. I mean "sitting by the window obnoxiously staring at the front stoop while sipping coffee and mentally begging for them to show up already" so I could wear them to my birthday party and a good friend's wedding respectively. I became that person who bounced outside every day to see if it was here yet, and hit refresh on my tracking number as often as possible. One day while I was working from home (thanks Covid!), I saw a notice come in saying my package had been delivered a few minutes prior. YAY! But I hadn't heard the iron gate open, nor had anyone rung the bell. Odd. I ran outside and there was nothing. Nada. I looked around and saw nothing. I asked the landlord's wife who was sorting through recycling outside if she saw anything arrive. She said no. So I waited. And waited. And waited. Then it was the end of the day and I realized something was really wrong. I reached out to Unique Vintage, and told them what was happening. Their customer service stayed in contact with me, and they said they would help me look for the packages in any way they could. They filed a claim on my behalf... yada yada yada... in the end, the package was never located. I was out the money AND had to repurchase things to wear to my birthday and the wedding, so I would be out double! Or WOULD I? Because they decided to refund me, and now they have a customer for LIFE. I have still never seen their clothing in person since that was going to be my first order. But despite that, I will happily reorder thanks to the customer service alone. (Though next time I'm going to pay for upgraded shipping that doesn't go through USPS like their free shipping eventually does. I'm too spooked by what happened to risk doing that again. From now on it's FedEx or UPS all the way from start to finish, and I'll ask for it to be signed for. I've learned my lesson. Now I'm going to use that refund to shop from them again! This time I will hopefully actually get the outfits. ;) lol!

This company is not the company you wanna deal with if you need help. I order a lot, but when I had a delivery issue talking to them, they were condescending and it left a bad taste in my mouth. No grace whatsoever, no apology no I'm sorry your fabulous dress didn't make it. No discount no appeasement. YOU SUCK.

Vintage is trying cheat customers by using customers helplessness . Recently bought car child seat mirror and I received a broken seat mirror. When I contacted Vintage, they asked photos, weight of item , even outer package.
They collected buyer protected fee as well . After I sent all information except photo with outer package as I opened package and found it's broken inside , they denies to refund .
I feel Vintage taking insurance and trying to irritate customers by asking several questions , so customers stop at some point asking for refund further for damaged and wrong items .
Ended up having to get a refund which took an age. Avoid!
Placed an order on December 15th, they took my money... still no updates explaining where my order is.
I've complained about lack of communication three times and I get the same generic email back every time and then nothing. Avoid this company.
Update: After a request from my bank, they eventually returned my money… poor service and a complete waste of time.

This is an amazing company to do business with. They have fabulous items and they truly go above and beyond for there customers. Would highly recommend them.
Be careful they may cancel your order with out notifying you
This is the second time in two months I have had an order or part of an order cancelled due to being out of stock. If it shows as available when I order it, why does it go out of stock? Plus they didn’t notify me either time, I had to check with them because I wasn’t getting a shipped notification. They said they will refund so I will have to check. They said it’s due to inventory issues. If I ever order from them again it will be quite a while if they do fix their inventory issues. Shame because it was my favorite website for vintage style clothing.

Customer service of a fly-by-night discount shop
I ordered an $88 skirt several weeks in advance to make sure it would arrive well in time for a big event. But then I just never received it or heard anything about where it was even after reaching out to Unique Vintage multiple times. I continued to receive no reply from UV, but then on my third attempt to contact them, was told the skirt was never in stock in the first place.
Since getting this news took a few weeks, I was down to the wire in terms of time before my event. But then I had the idea to call back again and ask if a larger size was still in stock. I was glad to hear it was! UV then Fedex Ground shipped it to me in hope of still getting it to me in time. I was thrilled to see the skirt came just in time, but...
It wasn't even the skirt I ordered. Thier fix to their first mistake was sending the wrong product.
I was completely out of time and out of luck. I then had to go through the rigamarole of sending back the wrong skirt. It was made of cheap, coarse taffeta-like fabric. Sort of like a discount costume material.
Store credit (as opposed to a refund) was pushed on me. I was offered a 20% discount on my next purchase though, so I could enjoy the process all over again. :)
$88 skirts are kind of a big splurge for me, so I assumed the material quality and customer service would reflect the higher price. It was more like dealing with a fly-by-night, discount knockoff shop.

All around awful- I think they use the old pony express for shipping because it takes a VERY long time to arrive, and then after you’ve paid several hundred dollars for two or three items that you assume will be high quality, you open your bag to find some cheap items you could have ordered from China- maybe they are from China and that’s why it takes so long, not sure- but also I’m pretty sure the customer service is a bot.

Firstly I was charged £11.50 for shipping due to an error on there website, which should of been £0due to the amount I spent. I contacted the company and with no hesitation and realising the error they refunded that .
I received 2 dresses, both stunning. However one had missing sequins and the other was very large. I forwarded photo proof of measurements showing how many inches bigger one size 14 dress was to the other size 14 dress.
I wanted to return them at no cost to myself. Sylvie replied very quickly and told me to keep the items , sell them, donate them and they will refund me in full. Perhaps this is down to the shipping costs to return to the USA.
The refund was completed straight away. Although I didnt get the dresses I hoped for the customer service from Sylvie has been fantastic. Simply amazing!

Great clothes, worst customer service policies
I ordered a dress for the holiday and was sent the wrong size. The size I had ordered sold out while I was waiting on my order and I was told that I can get a refund or the next size up. I asked if I could be sent a different color in my desired size and if they could comp overnight shipping so I could have it for my event. They said that they wouldn’t do that and that they could give me free shipping one step up from one I originally ordered. Since I used a discount coupon though, I’d have to forfeit the discount since you apparently can’t have that and free shipping. All of this even though they screwed up and I don’t have the dress for my event. Worst policies ever and I won’t be shopping there again for a severe lack of valuing their customers.
