I really love that the shop is size-inclusive. It can be very difficult to find plus-sized clothing (even XL) that is not “mother of the bride,” and I’ve found the clothing to be very interesting and flattering. I get a lot of compliments and questions about where I have gotten pieces, and I’ve been happy with most of the items I’ve purchased. I also find that there are constantly new items available, which has been fun for finding new things. That has also meant that there is a great deal of variety of the types of items that I like.

I’ve gotten used to ordering based on my measurements online, and I have had to exchange some items because the sizing guide has been incorrect for me (it might be more accurate for other sizes). I’m guessing this has more to do with the individual companies that make the clothing, but that’s made it a bit more complicated. I would say that tops have been more reliably true to size for me than bottoms. I am also relatively short, and bottoms have not generally had a short length available.

Overall, I keep coming back, so my experience has generally been quite positive. I recommend their items for anyone looking for a retro-inspired or simply more “unique” (sorry) look.

I have made several purchases in the past and everything I have ever ordered has been great. I love the truly "unique" items I have bought and always get great compliments when I wear them. The orders are always shipped promptly and I receive them in excellent condition. I would recommend Unique Vintage to anyone who likes vintage, one-of-a-kind items.

Return was delivered to their warehouse ten days ago and I'm still waiting for a refund. Item unworn, unwashed, in fact, I tried it on, didn't fit and I returned it the same day I received it. There's no reason to put a hold on funds for this long. I think their company is a logistics nightmare where some things ship from China, some don't, there are multiple warehouses and no centralized location, almost like a drop shipper. Not a good business model. Never again.

Super cute clothes, and I love how they are inclusive about sizing! I hardly find any store that offers plus size clothing! I never thought I could still style myself with cute 80's 'clothing without looking trying hard with my body size! Plus customer service is pretty quick to respond and friendly! I have never had a problem with ordering from this company. I am in Canada so shipping takes a little longer than shipping within the USA but I'm ok with that. The quality of the clothing and the sizing is excellent.

Their products are so cute and unique. The variety of styles allows you to find the perfect look. I buy a lot of dresses from UV and almost all of them have pockets. Sometimes I am not sure what size to buy but I read the info they provide (size guide AND model description) when making my choices. I also recommend reading the reviews to see how sizes works for customers. Everything I've ordered has excellent quality. I've been ordering from UV for years and it remains my favorite store.
Shipping happens quickly. I had one incident where my order was taking forever and was at the warehouse for a long time. I contacted customer service and it turns out the earrings I had ordered were no longer in stock. They asked if I'd like the rest of the order still (one dress) or if I'd like to cancel the whole order. I chose to cancel and the refund came quickly.

I just love the bikini set I have received from Unique vintage store! I managed to pick a true size, which is a rare experience for me buying bikinis from online store. It didn't took long for my order to arrive, the only problem is that I did not receive any tracking code so I had no idea what is going on with my order until my local carrier informed me that it is ready for pick up. Overall I am quite satisfied with my experience!

I have been a customer of unique vintage for literally decades. I used to go to their retail store in Burbank and was very sad when they closed and went strictly online. I live between California and Texas and I loved shopping at the store but the online experience is actually quite good! Whenever I order an item, I usually get it within 7-9 day, and if there’s a delay, like incoming new stock items, they’re great about emailing me. I have purchased more than a dozen dresses in the last two years and have never had one negative experience. Even if something doesn’t fit, I’m able to return it and get a turnaround exchange within about 2 1/2 weeks. If there’s ever a delay, it is because of USPS and not from their company or team member. Only once did I have to follow up and again, it was a delay from USPS that took 10 days to return an item to them; not UV’s fault. I will always stand by this business, they’ve done right by me for the best part of 20 years and I will continue being a super loyal retail client for them.
