Dit bedrijf doet zich voor als de Britse overheid, maar is feitelijk een dievenbende. Ze doen je geloven dat je voor zo'n €20 een ETA kunt kopen, maar de feitelijke betaling blijkt achteraf ongeveer €122 te zijn. Ga voor een aanvraag voor een ETA naar gov.uk!

Scam !! Don't use !! This looks like an official website but is not ! I thought it was the official one but once I had to pay 39 for 2 ETA applications, the payment request of 277 USD appeared. I did cancel the payment but it went through anyway. I have asked refund through the chat bot and got an email confirmation; still crossing fingers I get my money back..

Don't pay it, go to the offical website.

Complete Scam!! Way overpriced download UK ETA app and it is only 16 euro.

Completely fraudulent site. Wants me to pay 277$ for two entries into U.K. I cut my card from on-line purchases at once and I expect my card provider so cancel the payment. The site looks really legitimate but it is a scam. Be careful!

This website is deliberately misleading and appears to be designed to trick users into believing it is the UK government visa application page.

At no point during the application process is the real cost clearly disclosed. Only after my card was charged did I discover that I had been billed €199.70, while the actual official UK visa fee is only €39.70 when applying directly through the UK government website.

Due to these deceptive practices, I have disputed the transaction with the help of my bank, as the charge was made without transparent and informed consent.

This lack of transparency is unethical and unacceptable. I strongly advise anyone applying for a UK visa to avoid this website and use only the official UK government portal.

Followed all instructions however the photo of passport continued to cut off the essential bottom 2 lines of info. This occurred every time, despite holding phone at many angles, heights, etc. I'm a photographer! I know what I'm doing!!! Despite this, the app eventually kicked me out/'wait an hour' to try again. Is this because of the cricket result?!! (Aussies just beat England in the first test match!)

Mon expérience (août 2025) :

Dimanche : je dépose une demande d’ETA UK via uk.eta.365lettre.com. Pour valider le paiement, je dois obligatoirement accepter un abonnement affiché 19 € pour 72 h, puis 39 €/mois. Je n’avais aucune intention de m’abonner.

Après paiement : je ne reçois aucun e-mail de confirmation contractuelle avec numéro de commande ; seulement deux e-mails génériques (“compte” / “demande introduite”).

->72 h plus tard : aucune décision communiquée.

1er appel : refus de rembourser malgré ma demande, ayant vu le débit de 39 € sur mon compte.

2e appel : j’invoque mon droit de rétractation 14 jours (Code de la conso L221-18 + remboursement sous 14 jours L221-24) ; remboursement immédiat accordé.

Je déconseille donc de passer par des intermédiaires.

Pourquoi je déconseille :

Abonnement additionnel imposé pour finaliser : en droit UE, un paiement additionnel doit faire l’objet d’un consentement exprès séparé (Directive 2011/83/UE, art. 22) ; à défaut, le consommateur a droit au remboursement.

Pas de confirmation contractuelle envoyée sur support durable après l’achat (C. conso L221-13).

Délai non tenu (l’ETA officielle est habituellement notifiée sous 1 jour, et il faut contacter UKVI après 3 jours ouvrables si rien — GOV.UK).

Prix : l’ETA officielle coûte £16 (GOV.UK).

Conseils aux voyageurs :

Faites votre ETA directement sur GOV.UK (ou l’app UK ETA).

Si vous avez été enrôlé dans un abonnement non souhaité : rétractez-vous sous 14 jours (L221-18) et réclamez le remboursement (L221-24).

Si besoin, signalez la pratique sur SignalConso (DGCCRF) et sollicitez le Centre Européen des Consommateurs.

Malgré nombreux avis négatifs ,je trouve assez facile de suivre la démarche ,il suffit de suivre les instructions pas à pas,scanner la page du passeport, prendre son empreinte de la puce,faire sa photo sur le téléphone, et de payer..La confirmation est faite dans les 5 mn...

Arnaque totale ! Ne surtout pas commander d’ETA sur le site united kingdom ETA ou ivisa, j’ai commandé un document ETA sur le site united kingdom ETA, j’ai payé 102 euros et je ne l’ai jamais reçu !
J’ai ensuite commandé sur le site gov.uk et je l’ai reçu 24h après et j’ai payé 16 euros !

Faux sites ne pas acheter de visa sur ce site, ils volent vos informations ainsi que 19€ et 39€ d’abonnement. le site officiel du gouvernement anglais celui avec l’emblème d’une couronne.

The app is rubbish, scanning and photo's take far too long.
My biggest grief is that it says you can pay the tariff for the ETA also with a debit card, or Google Pay, but THERE IS NO FORM TO FILL IN FOR DEBIT CARDS! Only for credit cards which I don't have nor want.

C’est une arnaque, Il propose de même service que le gouvernement d’Angleterre, En jouant sur la confusion avec des logos et des titres indiquant que c’est le site Web officiel. Il facture 60 livres alors que ça coûte 16 livres. Et bien sûr ils ne me remboursent pas.

Cela fait des heures que j'essaie de mettre à jour l'ETA. Il y a toujours quelque chose qui cloche : le site tourne dans le vide, ne veut pas scanner, ne veut pas le paiement... C'est très pénible!

Appli qui ne fonctionne pas !
Nous avons essayé plusieurs cartes en vain!
Nous avons été sur des sites frauduleux pour revenir sur le site uk eta online et ça été ! Une vraie galère !!!

Frist, they charge way to much for the ETA which should only cost 16£ but ended up at 103£ when i was checking out. Stupid me thought it was just the government being greedy but no, it was this company just outwright scaming. It even says at the bottom of this site that; "we dont have any connection to the government", AND YET IT SHOWS UP AT THE TOP WHEN YOU SEARCH FOR ETA-APPLICATION USING GOOGLE. This just goes to show that you can pay money to Google and they will put your website in the prime spot.
I am lucky that my bank saw my transaction and did not let me pay the fee they were asking of me. I even tried to contact them because when I was finished i did not receive a conformation email but money had still (seemingly) been taken from my account, they asked for a screenshot of the transaction and (stupid me) gave them the photo which had my account information in it. Pluss they now have a photo of my passport....😭😭😭😭🫠
Again, i am lucky that my bank is very helpfull and they blocked my bank account, card and ID so I could get everything new and make sure that they did not have my information. I also changed a bunch of passwords, i will have to go to the police soon regarding my passport, which sucks because I am traveling in July. I am litteraly only staying in London for 3 days, and it is at the end of my trip and this ETA sh*t just fu*cked everything up. I am also repporting this website to the uk government.

This is the seccond time i have been scamed in my life, and although this seemes like an actually real company that knows what they are doing, it is still so annoying and ILLEAGAL!!!!
I am debating if I should get a hardcore VPN, cause i am done with this sh*t.
TLDR: STAY AWAY, GO TO UK.GOV, ALWAYS BE CAREFUL!!!!

J'ai essayé des dizaines de fois sur l'application UK ETA sur un mobile et le paiement par carte VISA n'a pas marché. En consultant des avis anglais qui avaient les mêmes problèmes, j'ai trouvé un avis précieux qui indiquait de ne pas utiliser le mobile, mais faire online sur le site apply-for-an-eta.homeoffice.gov.uk sur l'ordi. Le paiement a marché avec la carte. J'ai téléchargé les photos, prises d'abord avec mon iphone, depuis l'ordi. C'est très chronophage mais ça a marché! Courage!

Une catastrophe cette application...une fois la photo prise, impossible de lire la puce du passeport...Mais quel est le technocrate de base qui a mis au point cette application contre le tourisme?....Après 3 essais, maintenant l'application n'est plus accessible...souci je dois partir pour Londres fin octobre...une honte, pire que l'administration française dont je fais partie.

ARNAQUE !!!!! J'ai payé (en me pensant sur le site officiel) 69,5 livres pour un ETA qui coûte en réalité 16 livres !!
Réclamation faite au site qui a "généreusement" proposé de me rembourser 25% de la somme. Dérisoire ! Mais geste qui démontre bien le fait qu'ils sont tout à fait conscients du manque d'honnêteté de leur démarche !!

Et pourtant habituellement, je suis vigilante !.. Je me suis faite avoir en beauté !
