I was with Truehost from 2024-2026, but the customer and technical support forced me to leave for another host.

When you open a ticket you are directed to an automated bot. When the bot inevitably fails to resolve the issues, it can take up to a full day before the issue is even routed to a human representative.

Once escalated, the human support is frustratingly slow. Response times routinely average 12-24 hrs per reply. On one occasion, it took over 48 hrs meaning my business was effectively down for more than two straight days.

Reliable uptime and prompt support are critical for running a business. Truehost failed to deliver on both, and I'm glad I switched.

I have been with truehost for like three years now, the services are good though the customer service bot might take you in circles but once you have a human agent they will help you, they are nice and friendly

They will steal from you. you will lose money; they will not refund it. They will blame your bank. Business owners keep off.

The worst bad service I have never seen. I bought their service on January 5th 2026. More than 2 days to get my domain valid. More than 16 hours to have a dns record available. Support lie to me, didn't share the right information. 2 tickets to request unblocking my domain and after that and more than 1 week, they tell me that I need to way 60 days !! Why they didn't tell me that before !! I lose a lot of time.
They are not professional at all.

I attempted to register a 3-letter .ke domain (myc.ke) through Truehost. Their website showed a price of 3,000 KES, I completed checkout, was invoiced (including VAT and an AutoPay discount), and received confirmation that the registration was in progress.

Only afterward did Truehost and the .ke registry (KeNIC) claim the name was a “reserved premium” domain with a vastly higher reserve price. Instead of honoring the completed transaction or clearly explaining the situation up front, Truehost eventually processed a refund **without my request or consent** and I lost the domain.

The core issues for me were:
- No clear premium pricing warning before payment.
- Acceptance of payment and issuance of an invoice as if everything was normal.
- Conflicting communication about whether the domain would be activated.
- A unilateral refund that effectively cancelled the deal after I had relied on their system and confirmations.

I ended up wasting time and losing the opportunity to secure the name, despite doing everything correctly as a customer. I cannot recommend Truehost for domain registrations, especially for anything important or time-sensitive.

Truehost is a very useless web hosting and domain purchase platform..

I purchased and hosted my domain qfsnesara.site through Truehost. When it was placed on hold by the registry, I contacted them repeatedly for help. Instead of escalating my case to the registrar (NameSilo), as required under ICANN policy, they kept redirecting me and closed my tickets without resolution.

Other hosts like Lytehosting handled similar cases professionally, but Truehost’s team ignored responsibility, showing poor compliance and no urgency.

If you value reliability and professional support, avoid Truehost. I’ve since escalated my case to ICANN and the FCCPC (Nigeria) for proper investigation.

I am extremely disappointed that I can’t rate this company below one star. My experience has been a complete nightmare, and I would never recommend their services to anyone.
The support team has been careless and unprofessional. For more than three weeks, they have ruined my business by deleting my website simply because a developer instructed them to do so — without even notifying me, the rightful account owner who paid for the service.

On top of that, the service is full of constant problems. I cannot even change my password. I bought a Windows hosting plan, but instead they keep forcing WordPress on me. For three weeks now it’s been back and forth with no solution. The links don’t work, I cannot change the NameServers, and when I request a password reset, no email arrives. The only time I do receive a reset email (via the bot agent), the link leads to an error saying I cannot change the password.
This level of incompetence is unacceptable. Their actions have caused serious damage to my business. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this company — they are unreliable and a real business killer.

I am extremely disappointed with the service from Truehost. I submitted a support ticket (#6532311 - Website Errors after Migration) on Sunday, and despite numerous follow-ups, my issue remains unresolved.

I have called the call center five times, replied to the original support ticket multiple times, and sent emails to support, yet I have only received generic responses with no real assistance. I was promised a call back within an hour, but even after two hours, no one called me back. When I called again, I received the same empty promise, and when I requested to speak with a senior person, I was told they don’t take calls.

From what I can see, Truehost did not import the databases for the migrated websites. I even took screenshots to prove this. When I tried to manually fix the issue myself, I encountered error pages, preventing me from resolving it on my own.

I specifically moved away from Afrihost due to poor server performance and was hesitant about Truehost. However, after being assured of better service, I made the switch—only to face even worse support. My clients are furious, and I have no clear resolution from Truehost.

It’s beyond frustrating to see zero urgency or accountability from a company that is supposed to provide reliable hosting. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Truehost to anyone who values proper customer support.

I have a Bronze Reseller account. I recently onboarded a client and transferred a domain to them. They assigned an IP which appears to be blacklisted, probably due to spam being emailed from a domain previously attached to it. I asked for support, pleaded. It fell on deaf ears. I asked for a billing cycle date to be adjusted, I was assured it would be. Then they went ahead and took money on the wrong date anyways, despite me telling them there would be no money in my account on that date for the transaction. I contacted them for answers. They kept me hanging for a whole day. I got tired of waiting and asked for the Director's email, they refused to give it to me, instead insisting I log a normal support ticket to complain. I refused considering the last time I did that I was completely ignored. I insisted on an email for management, which they begrudgingly supplied. Several days passed after I sent my complaint. No response. Now I retaliate. Steer clear of these people. They are scam artists. They take your money and provide ZERO service.

If you value your peace of mind and you take your business seriously, you are at the wrong place.

Yes, TrueHost is a complete disaster and should not be given a thought to render any meaningful service.

Terrible support and unprofessional attitude.

Do not host or buy domain from truehost.cloud. they are the worst hosting sever i have ever seen.

They are a scam company be aware!
1- They are not registered with ICANN.
2- Just resellers with with other registrars.
3- Very bad support.
4- Charge money without providing services (They told you we renewed your domain but it is not.
5- Very bad control panel, You can't see the expiry for your domains.
6- You do not have the ability to fully control your domain.
