Terrific all-round product and service.
The delivery time was spot on, and the delivery guys were very helpful.
The product (breakfast bar) is excellent - this is the second breakfast bar I have purchased from TRL Handmade Furniture, and I would recommend them to anyone considering a purchase from this company.

The company has not fulfilled the full order and I have had no communication from the company that this is the case, I currently have two lengths of timer - one not fully treated on all surfaces. It's really disappointing.

From the first visit to the workshop where they listened to everything we wanted, to the delivery of our gorgeous bespoke solid oak table, every moment has been exceptional.
The whole team at TRL are friendly, professional and so talented.
Nothing was too much trouble, everything we asked for they made possible.
Bespoke spider legs made on site to hold a fabulous 3.3 metre table, the natural beauty of the wood glowing from the care, consideration and respect it has been given during every step creating the finished product.
The table was delivered and installed, time taken to ensure precision and perfection.

The table has now taken pride of place in a room designed for decades of family and friends to bring to the table.
Not just a table, a beautiful piece of furniture where memories will be made.

We came across TRL Handmade Furniture when searching online for a large dining table to fit our large dining room. We had ordered two dining tables online previous to this, but couldn’t find one large enough to fit our space. We originally found the perfect wooden table via B&Q and I sent a direct message to TRL asking a few questions.

Tim was very friendly and helpful and made the ordering process seamless. We were originally quoted 2-3 weeks (ordered end of Nov) but definitely guaranteed before Christmas. The table arrived 21st December, just in time for Christmas. Delivery team were very professional and friendly, and table was set up in no time.

We did receive a call on the morning of delivery to say that they had the wrong legs - we specifically asked for black and not raw iron, but they would deliver the table and re-arrange in the New Year to replace the legs. This hasn't happened yet but will in February.

The table is STUNNING. I cant even put into words how happy we are to find the perfect table for our dining room! Everyone that has been in our house has complimented the table and I'm in awe every time I walk into the room.

The quality of the table and workmanship to produce such a stunning dining table is second to none. Amazing quality and exceptional table!

I ordered a breakfast bar and the quality exceeded my expectations. The exceptional customer service at TRL made the entire experience a pleasure. I had to change the delivery date and address a few times, but the process was seamless. These professionals truly know their craft and are always ready to assist in any situation.
A special shoutout to Rajesh, who I spoke with over the phone several times. He was consistently patient, professional and incredibly helpful. I also want to thank the delivery driver, who went above and beyond by delivering the table late in the evening and assembling it on-site. Despite facing a four-hour drive back to his base, he took the time to ensure everything was perfect.
I highly recommend TRL! In fact, my friend is already planning to order a breakfast bar too.

Very helpful people, responsive to questions. Great delivery service. Nice product.

BEWARE. Purchased a solid oak table in Aug. It has been back a number of times for mismatch of colours and general finish/protection. They ended up making another table, just been delivered & back to square one again. Quite simply the finish is poor, very dry and rough to the touch. As soon anything remotely wet touches it i.e. food or liquid it soaks in and permanently marks the table. Despite them telling me its protected with Osmo Oil. I have now given up trying to deal with TRL as clearly their quality expectations are a lot lower than ours..Next step is we have a french polisher booked to address and resolve the issues TRL cannot.

A few email quotes from the owner of TRL, this sums up his attitude to customers !! All I want is what I paid for a £1620 oak dinning table that is fit for purpose

'Customer or not, you’re in the wrong for setting us up to fail. That is not acceptable in my book'

'Regarding droplets on your table, I must advise and stress that placemats must be used on any wooden table'

'I can’t win with you Steve you’ve clearly got it in for us and we couldn’t win either way'

Ordered an item on the 8th of November told it was arriving on Friday the 29th between 15:00 and 19:00. I made arrangements for someone to be at the property to take delivery of the item but nothing turned up and no communication why. Finally got hold of them on Monday and they said it wasn't coming on that Friday and it will be picked up by courier midweek and delivered Friday coming(6th). So once again I have made arrangements for someone to be at the property today to take delivery and again I have been told it’s delayed. Understand it’s handmade by order and would take time to make but it has now been a month and still no item. Terrible!

Easy to order, delivered when promised and more importantly really good quality. Would definitely use TRL again.

Ordered a table, 2 benches and a shelf…..

This is a long one so you might want to grab a cuppa! They have been to my house 7 times since September.

1st visit- delivery was incomplete, bench legs were scratched, we paid etc for black powered coating. Bench also had a wobble

2nd visit- they came to my house- shelf arrived, I think all good.

Replacement legs still scratched, fella takes them to his van to try and spray paint them!!!!

3rd visit- wrong legs delivered!!!

4th visit- legs that I sent back the first time (same scratch marks/ I took pictures) are delivered!

5th visit- right legs arrive, bench still has a wobble

6th visit- are you keeping up?
Bench legs arrived- all sorted phew!

Or so I thought now a large split has appeared in the table, I call and send pictures. They tell me table top will be replaced.

Today (7th visits) delivery driver turns up at 17:30, as you can imagine we are on first name terms and I ask him if he wants his usual cuppa!

Says he has no table top on the van….. only a bench for me!

He calls to speak to Rajesh……. Now I have to wait again until another delivery date is arranged for 8th time for TRL to visit my house.

Customer service is shocking, they never pick up the phone take ages to respond to emails.

Don’t let all the awards they have won Fool you, they are a cowboy outfit!!

I have also spoken to Ben (a director of some sort) he has been useless!

I have sent Tim an email direct- let’s see if he responds to me?????

Excellent service and our breakfast bar is great quality and perfect in our Kitchen.

Incredible customer service. Nothing was too much trouble. Prompt, courteous and fabulous product too. HIGHLY recommend.
