Ho acquistato in data 15-04-2023 una Trek Merlin 7,da subito notavo un rumore meccanico intermittente.
Ho segnalato al rivenditore,che è anche assistenza autorizzata Trek,il problema è mi ha consigliato di fare qualche chilometro e poi ci guardava.
Qualche settimana fa'ho portato la bici in assistenza perche'il rumore era diventato costante e fastidioso e dopo qualche giorno me la riconsegnano dopo aver sostituito pedali e catena perche'usurate,esco a fare un giro il giorno dopo e percorsi pochi chilometri non riesco a cambiare rapporto e con forti rumori meccanici,a questo punto riporto la bici in assistena
e dopo qualche giorno mi dicono che c'è a sostituire tutta la trasmissione.
Premesso che la bici ha percorso circa 600km tutti su strade collinari asfaltate ,non è mai caduta e non presenta neanche un graffio.
A questo punto,contatto prima telefonicamente un tecnico Trek ,esprimendo tutto il mio disappunto sulla qualita'della bici,il quale si limita a rispondermi che loro possono solo riparare la bici.
Scrivo anche un email al servizio clienti Trek,chiedendo una sostituzione della bici visto i tanti problemi e altrettanti riparazioni e mi rispondono di portarla in assistenza.
La bici a oggi è ancora in riparazione e non intendo piu'ritirarla,da un brand come Trek mi aspettavo una soluzione diversa,premesso che era la prima volta che acquistato un Trek e dopo questa pessima esperienza anche l'ultima

waovv... I have had issues converting my tubular wheels to tubeless so I have ordered new set of wheels considering I might have got them damaged but the new ones had the same issue so I decided to call the customer service and waov....
Never had such a great after sale customer service experience since last few years. Tam S. has really been a great help from the first moment and I think this should be recognised.

My first new bike in 27 years, and they were awesome! The manager Keith was amazing - managed to get in all the supplies I needed for that bike and the particular bike carrier that worked for my car! I highly recommend this store!

I had a persistence problem with a trek mountain bike I purchased from a retailer.
I was quite perturbed and perplexed by the whole matter.
So I decided to go straight to the manufacturer Trek.

I spoke to a Gentleman by the name of Tam who patiently and compassionately listened to my complaint. Then he diligently worked upon my case which resulted in a full refund for me, within 24 hours.
I can't thank you enough👏

Ich habe das madone Sl 7 ..ich fahre seit über 20 Jahren Rennrad aber dieses Rad ist der absolute Wahnsinn..es macht einfach nur Spaß

Habe ein Powerfly 4 von 2022 und ein City Push Bike 7.4 FX von 2015. Liebe beide Bikes. Gute Verarbeitung, stabile Teile, klasse Ergonomie. Beide Bikes sind in ihrem Bereich eher Einsteigerklasse. Trotzdem nichts zu meckern. Das Powerfly hat eine Federgabel und nur eine Zeikolbenbremse. Ich wiege 100kg, trotzdem waren beide Komponenten auf Waldwegen bis jetzt immer völlig ausreichend.
Das 7.4 FX hat einen Stahlrahmen und eine Carbongabel. Ist aber sehr leicht und sehr handlich.
Bei beiden Bikes war für mich die Ergonomie das herausragende Kriterium, bei test rides fühlte ich mich auf TREK im Vergleich zu anderen Marken immer viel mehr "zu Hause". Ausserdem finde ich bei beiden Bikes die Lackierung klasse (orange und rot glänzend).

In their Store the prominent statement is: 'We repair every bike in 24 hours' I am deeply dissatisfied with the service provided for my Rail 9.8 at the Trek Store in Verona. After bringing it in on a Saturday at 15:00, I was disappointed to discover that on Tuesday at 13:30 it was still not ready. I consider it essential to be treated with the utmost professionalism and efficiency in line with what was promised. In addition, the Workshop is really expensive , for example other retailers have an average price of 15€ for washing the bike, and you can often get it for free, in the Trek Store you can get it for 24,90€ or they insist a lot on selling Packages.

Contacted trek support for info on a respirator for trek exe 9.7, a passed to local bike shop who didn’t know, then passed back to trek who now decide they can do it, one month later and still no price, constant chasing up, iv given up.

I purchased a Trek Dual Sport + 2 two months ago, have put 300+ miles on it with daily rides and would like to relay my observations.

THE PROS:
It's a TREK. Nicely made with attention to detail, excellent welds, good quality gearing and braking for its model level and a nice cosmetic finish. The frame and wheels feel solid and capable for its purpose i.e., a crossover street and/or light trail bike focused directly at the 'daily ride for exercise and running errands' crowd who require some occasional electrical assistance.

THE CONS:
The number one shortcoming of this bike is its under-powered and overrated Hyena rear hub motor and battery.

The Battery - TREK makes a foggy statement about its ability to last 35 miles by stating it's.., "A reliable 250Wh internal battery system (that) assists up to 35 miles..." The key words here being the true meaning and intent of the words 'assist' and 'up to' as at the motors lowest 'Level 1' setting of a possible 3 level assist option, this battery WILL run out of gas in approximately 10 to 12 miles, not 35. TREK further states that its Optional Range Extender battery will, "... double your distance (so you can) explore up to 70 miles." No.., it won't. This adjunct battery is just another 250Wh battery which will only provide another 10 miles or so. And, at $450, that is simply not worth the price.

The Rear Hub Drive Motor - TREK states it's.., "A lightweight and powerful 40Nm rear hub drive (that) offers confident handling and uninterrupted power." While the motor may be lightweight compared to heavier and more powerful motors, at 40Nm it's not a "powerful" motor. And, you will fully realize that fact when it suddenly stops working (due to overheating) as you are climbing a moderate hill that you assumed would not be an issue. You will then wait on the side of the road for 10 to 15 minutes while the motor cools down and its internal thermal switch slips back into place so you can ride away.

Less Important Issues - The pedals, seat and lighting. The pedals are unimpressive. Made of a hard plastic with little grip, they are similar to those seen on children's bikes. I've since changed mine out. The front and rear lighting is weak, both having insufficient lumen levels and the rear having no ability to set to a safer flash mode. I've upgraded both. The seat is just a factory seat and provides little in the way of comfort. But, in all fairness, this is the least problematic issue as each of our bottoms require different seating to be happy. I've changed mine out and added a very helpful suspension style mounting post to ease the bumps.

Overall, I'm fairly satisfied with my pricey new $2,400 TREK Dual Sport + 2 as MY purpose is to get 30 to 60 minutes of cardio in every day when the weather will allow me on the road. I work around the deficiencies of its weak battery and motor by selecting different routes and putting in additional effort to keep the motor from quitting.

I bought a new bike.. x-caliper 8 size: XXL. I was assisted by Robin with my purchase. I like to express my gratitude for the professional and cheerful help I received. Smooth and easy transition. Sehr schlechter Service, würde ein Trek niemanden empfehlen. Wenn Problem da sind bekommt man keine Antwort mehr! Ich kaufe kein Trek mehr...

Having had so many troubles in my purchasing process, that up to a few weeks ago, i couldnt rate this more than 1 star. My recent Domane+ was shipped 2 months late, and had a crack and several other issues. Felt like a bike with internal bleedings.. I needed to wait another 2.5 months to get a second try. Luckily my dealer was like a father to the bike. Took very good care. Finally, in the end, the bike got delivered. It’s a beauty. A masterpiece. The Domane+ works. The TQ HPR50 motor is something special. Still need to wait and see how it holds up over the years. But the first riding experience boosted this one easily back to 4 stars. I do expect TREK to now very soon compensate my dealer (triple the hours for this bike!) and in dismantling the bike they accidentally cut through the TQ Smart Box breaking it. I absolutely want to check with him in a few weeks and need to hear he is compensated correctly. That might bump this review up its final star. TREK came from far, but is on the right “trek” ;)

Went in to have a single spoke repaired at 12pm and was told it wouldn't take long but they would message me. At 3.50pm I hadn't heard anything so I went in and a very arrogant, socially inept member of staff told me it wasn't ready and couldn't provide any information about when it might be fixed. I left and 10 minutes later when I was almost home I got a message that my bike was ready. Had the member of staff shown any independent thought or dare I say it care for the customer, I could've been saved a journey. On top of all of that, I was charged a whopping £35. Needless to say, I won't be going back

PRO:
Very nice to ride, great looking, beautiful and reliable frame, tires and gears, shimano group very well selected.

CONS:
- Noisy. Some cable inside the frame always make weird noisy, like hitting some metal with metal in gravel roads
- Cheap pedals.
- Crankset too small for this gear setting.
- Weak wheels, it looses the aligned very very easy and better wheels from this brand are quite expensive.

I'm not sure if I would by again. So far, no.

I just bought the Trek FX 2 Disc at Scheels Grand Forks, North Dakota, on July 22nd, 2023.
The brake system and the tires were not specified as on the sale list.
On my Trek FX 2 Disc, the brake system should be Tektro HD-R280 hydraulic disc, but they installed on it the RUSH brake system.
The tires should be Bontrager H2 Comp, wire bead, 700x35c, but they installed the tires 700x32c with no name on it.
I did go to the Scheels store to complain about these issues. First, they said they will correct these issues by changing the brake and the tires to the specifications. But after that they call me come back to the store and told me they only agreed to change only the tires to the specifications, and if I wanted to change the brake, I have to pay for the labor.
I really don’t happy about this.
To my experience, Check the Components of the Specification of the Trek bike before you buy it. They only has the name with the cheapest components on it.

De fiets (E-Bike Trek Powerfly-4) van mijn vrouw hebben we 2-jaar geleden nieuw aangeschaft, echter vlak na aanschaf is er een probleem met de achteras, deze is door 12gobiking vervangen.
De recente klacht / probleem openbaarde zich in Brixen in Thale in Oostenrijk op vrijdag 29-07-2023, waarna wij bij de plaatselijke fietsenmaker van Intersport te horen kregen dat de lagers van de achteras vervangen moesten worden en deze hiervoor besteld moesten worden bij Trek en daardoor niet op korte termijn gerepareerd kon worden. Aangezien we de maandag erop op een geboekte fietstocht vanuit Brixen in Thale naar Wenen gingen (+/- 600km) moesten we noodgedwongen een vergelijkbare E-Bike huren.

Ze gooien het op garantie, onderhoud, weersomstandigheden, gebruik, schoonmaken en dat het een relatief zware fiets is en waarom ik ze niet gebeld had voor overleg en je kunt het verhalen op je reisverzekering.
Kortom het ligt aan jezelf en niet aan het product, voel me behoorlijk in de maling genomen.
Ik heb bedankt voor de coulance regeling en zal geen gebruik meer maken van 12gobiking, maar zal wel van de plaatselijke fietsenmaker gebruik gaan maken.

Great bike and fantastic customer service. The staff at Trek Bicycle Bristol are so helpful, I can't recommend them highly enough.

Blev betjent af en der ikke vidste noget særligt om speed pedelec - jeg forventer, at de ved bare det mest basale om en elcykel til 42.500.
Sendte mig ud på prøvetur på cykel, der kun var få procent strøm på. Bare rolig sagde Trekekspedienten, det er kun computeren, der ikke er strøm på, der er massere på cyklen. Det var der så ikke. Havde kørt 2x14 km for at prøve cyklen.
Tvær, uvidende ekspedient. Useriøs nedgøring af andre mærker, fx var Gazelle cykler (anerkendt hollandsk kvalitetsmærke) cykler af virkelig dårlig kvalitet. - de bruger i øvrigt samme motor, batteri og bremser som Trek ...

Trek bicycle Copenhagen Hellerup, her gav Peter Elgaard dd. en super service. Dejligt at snakke med en person som ved så meget om deres produkter, og virker bestemt som om Peter brænder for denne service.
Det blev til 1. stk. blå MTB til sønnen.
Vi blev vejledt godt, og cyklen blev testkørt.
Bestemt et sted vi vil vende retur til, hvis vi en dag skal have ny cykel.
