Construction Skills College Recenzje

A great college for anyone looking to build a career in construction. Definitely worth doing a course here. The training environment is excellent, and the instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.

Absolutely brilliant company to use for your resettlement. Their ELCAS eligible courses are second to none in terms of quality, course content and value for money.

The tutors are all highly experienced in the trade and provided invaluable tips and tricks which I am already using to further my own business.

The kitchen fitting course in particular, along with the plumbing and tiling are all to a very high standard. Individual bays and new materials supplied to every student. Hands on experience from day one with practical skills prioritised, from worktop joints to fitting bathrooms.

Easily the best course provider within the UK for those looking at leaving the forces to transition into the construction industry. Or indeed any others looking to upskill in this field.

Highly recommended, smooth booking process and excellent facilities.

I did a plumbing course here that I was expecting to give me a basic level of DIY ability based on the price (only £1150 for 2 weeks) and I ended up leaving with level 3 knowledge in plumbing that's enabling me to do my own full central heating install (minus gas, obviously!) and first / second fix on bathrooms and kitchens. The quality of the teaching was excellent and I can't praise the tutor Steve enough for taking me from literally zero to this level of knowledge in such a short time. I ended up booking on a full diploma and currently working my way through 5 other skills - I did tiling recently and that was equally good.

As a female, accessing trade schools can be a bit daunting but here I've never felt anything other than just part of the group. Honestly I can't rate it highly enough.

Logistically it's based on an industrial estate so driving is easy, and there are plenty of low costs places to stay in Stoke. There is a food van that comes around every lunch time and food is great. Shower facilities on site which I expect to use when I do my tiling course, and free tea / coffee supplied.

I recently completed Kitchen Fitting and Plumbing courses. The tutors were highly experience, knowledgeable and very supportive. The learning environment is superb with lots of resources available. I really enjoyed both courses and i highly recommend. I am about to do another Plastering and Tilings courses in August-September.

The course was easily understandable and the Instructor was very supportive . Also facilities were great.

All of the tutors demonstrated a wealth of knowledge and experience in their respective subject areas. They were friendly, approachable, and used excellent teaching techniques throughout the course. The training facilities were excellent, and all the necessary tools and equipment were provided for the duration of the course. Overall, it was a highly positive learning experience.

Back again for another 3 trades Bricklaying, Carpentry and Domestic Electrical and to complete the Level 3 Diploma.

Nothing's changed since I attended my first three trades; it's still a fantastic environment to learn in. You're never short of materials, and the advice from experienced tradesmen with 30-40 years in the industry is invaluable. It's great learning from people who've actually spent decades on the tools, not just teaching.

Tony, Carl and Dave were all excellent tutors. They broke everything down into simple steps and delivered the training really well. I completed my final course yesterday and feel much more confident about taking on my first project.

The communication from Dave was spot on throughout. He kept me updated every step of the way, and the registration process was smooth from start to finish.

Worth every penny invested in expanding my knowledge and developing new skills. Thanks again, CSC!

The Construction Skills Course was excellent and I felt it offered great value for money, exceeding what I was expecting. The instructors were highly knowledgeable, professional, and supportive throughout the training. The course provided a good balance of theory and practical hands-on experience, which helped build confidence and develop new skills.
The training environment was well organised, and all learning objectives were clearly explained and achieved. I found the practical exercises particularly valuable, as they reflected real-world construction tasks and enhanced my understanding of safe working practices.
Overall, this was a very informative and worthwhile course that has significantly improved my knowledge and skills. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to develop their construction competencies.

I would definitely recommend this course to others. It has equipped me with multiple skills to carry out maintenance tasks on my own house, saving money and knowing a job has been completed correctly. The instructors all work in the trades, are all really helpful, and give after course support to students.

I recently completed the two-week plastering course at Construction Skills College in Stoke-on-Trent and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I started the course as a complete novice with no plastering experience whatsoever. By the end of the two weeks I genuinely surprised myself and left feeling confident that I could tackle real plastering jobs and produce a good standard of finish.

The course is extremely thorough, covering everything from the theory, materials and tools through to plenty of practical hands-on work. It's very well structured, taking you through a wide range of real-world situations and techniques that you're likely to encounter rather than just teaching the basics.

One of the biggest strengths of the course is the tutors. They clearly have years of real industry experience and are full of practical tips and tricks that you simply wouldn't pick up from watching videos online. They were always attentive, offering guidance both to the group and individually whenever anyone needed help.

The atmosphere was friendly, relaxed and full of humour, making the whole experience enjoyable.

Importantly too the support doesn't stop when the course finishes. The tutors continue to make themselves available afterwards if you need advice, which is incredibly reassuring when you're starting out.

If you're thinking about learning to plaster, whether for DIY projects or as the start of a new career, I would wholeheartedly recommend this course.

I couldn't be happier with my experience at the College. Last year I completed courses in Carpentry, Plumbing and Heating, and Bricklaying, and the teaching was so good I came back this year for Electrics, Kitchen Fitting, and Tiling.
Every course has been the same story — clear teaching, genuinely hands-on training, and instructors who care about your progress. Six courses in, and I feel more confident and capable than ever across the full range of trades.
Next year I'll be back to finish the set with Plastering. I honestly can't recommend this college enough — a brilliant place to build real, practical skills from the ground up.

I recently completed my plastering course here and passed with a Merit. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Dave is incredibly friendly, helpful and always willing to support students. He genuinely wants everyone to succeed and creates a great learning environment.

A big thank you to Mark, my tutor and a professional plasterer. His knowledge and experience are outstanding. He teaches every stage of plastering in a clear, hands-on way and is always happy to answer questions and share professional tips. His patience and attention to detail gave me the confidence to carry out plastering work to a high standard.

I would highly recommend this college to anyone looking to learn plastering or develop their construction skills. The training is practical, professional and excellent value for money.
Thank you Dave and Mark for helping skills and confidence to start my plastering journey.

I had a great time doing this course. Very friendly environment and approachable instructor. I like the way they organise the course, as it was not theory based, I had more hands on in practical side of the course and learned more doing practical.
Thank you

Excellent in everything: friendly and expert instructors, great facilities and availability of equipment, just right class sizes and lots of after-course advice and help. Just the way to get started or to develop skills. I’ll be coming back for more.

Garfield started the course with some basic plastering skills that he had gained over the years. The course provided him with excellent training to give him the rudimentary skills to firm his practical skills.

He had an excellent tutor and by the end of the course he was site ready and much more confident and competent with the plastering skills he learned.

The course is well run. I would highly recommend this course for anyone seeking to learn plastering skills or to firm up their practical skills

Well experienced mentors. Full of learning. Enjoyed my 6 weeks of different courses.

Very professional tutors, great Courses friendly atmosphere, was recommended to me, drove 170m definitely worth it will be back to complete more in the future

The tutors are all really friendly and have a wealth of knowledge and experience that have helped set me up well for my new career. I'd definitely recommend Construction Skills College to anyone who wants to either move into the construction industry as a career or are just looking to gain knowledge and experience.

The course was great and the instructor was well knowledgeable on the Course given.Steve on the Plumbing course is well experienced and the way he present the course was very good and was easy for me to learn and understand. Thank you very much Dave for the admin in booking my course .

I have done 3 other courses and completed the fouth an electrical course in December. The tutor Dave was helpful and very informative and knowledgeable. The material covered a wide range of tasks and after the course I feel competent to tackle most electrical jobs. Very friendly on the course and had a great time when I was there and have already wired a cooker from the consumer unit to the kitchen.
