Avoid this company - not legitimate

Avoid this company, made an order on 9th December was advertised delivery before Xmas, significantly overpaid for the item as was 1st on my son’s Xmas list. Item still hasn’t arrived sent several emails no acknowledgment or response, received a text on the 31st December to advised shipped, still nothing received. About to raise a dispute with my credit card company as fear have been scammed.

Scam! Do not buy from this company!

SCAM- DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON THIS SITE! I ordered a magnetic tile toy set that has two cars and several parts for a track and only received the cars. After speaking to someone on the phone, they told me to send an email with a photo of what I received and the issue. I did so and heard nothing.
I followed up with another phone call several days later and was told they would send me an email that I should reply explaining my issue and a photo of what I received. No one sent an email.
I called two more times and got hung up on both times.
This is a scam- DO NOT PAY FOR ANYTHING ON THIS SITE! I foolishly spent over €100 and have not got the main part of the toy. I have been played a fool but I hope this review saves someone else some heartache.

Great company

I have to change my review of this company they took full responsibility for the issue I had and have offered an acceptable conclusion
There customer service was remarkable and did everything to solve the problem which was caused by a packaging error from supplier

Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. I ordered the mid November and my order "shipped" 25th December. The company will try and keep you on the hook to avoid refunding. Disgraceful carry on. Support local stores in your country instead of this website. Update - I find my gmail inbox FULL of spam emails, referencing my Toyscentral order ID (how could a 3rd party get this?) asking me to click through to pharma domains, to "hurry" because my package is going to be delivered. This is a complete scam and I will be filing a report with the Irish Data protection office as they have an Irish postal address on their site.

update: We have now received a refund from this company and we are thankful for that.

Disappointed :/

Don't buy from here. Their item descriptions are not accurate, and it's a rip off, am really disappointed. Cost me $100, but its worth is in reality $15.
The item is authentic, but the quantity is disappointing.

The return process is highly useless and not helpful.

Can recommend but first check if it’s worth it.

I have ordered Chemi Lab C3000 set which I couldn’t find anywhere else in stock and that could be delivered to EU. The product arrived in outlined delivery deadlines and in a good condition, however I’d like to make a few notes:
1. The outer packaging seemed to have been opened but looked like new, all the inner parts also looked good and sealed properly along with the book. I assume that the package may have been opened to check what is inside when it was transported across the border, but I am not sure.
2. You will receive several emails with a fake DHL tracking link. I assume that our email addresses were sent to fraudsters or something when we placed the order. However, there was nothing more than these emails and clicking on the links without any additional information.
3. Staff always replied to the same email chain created after placing the order within 24 hours which was great! When I complained about fake tracking links, they could provide me with updated delivery info.
4. Lastly - it was auper super expensive. It costed more 100 CHF than the same product from the original website, but I went for it to make a surprise for my kid, which was worth it.
I general, always make sure to check the website and reviews before ordering, but I can say that my experience was good and this online store gives you the last opportunity when it is not available elsewhere.

ordered a toy more than 2 weeks ago for…

ordered a toy more than 2 weeks ago for Christmas. I stated clearly it was a Christmas gift! was told only today that they don't even have it, and are looking for it in the USA... the toy cost $40. in USA.. Here toy central price $138.- (plus shipping) that's quite a premium, and they cannot deliver until after Christmas, because they are still searching for it! I could have ordered the toy from USA myself, but ordered through them because even though more expensive I wouldn't have to deal with delay as I live in Switzerland ... I've never come across a company who behaves this way.... Worst service ever... can't get anyone responsible on a call... just a call centre in INDIA! What grotesque behaviour!

In fairness I wish to add that I was issued a written apology 3 days after this review, which I think deserves to be acknowledged. It's refreshing to get a professional response when things go wrong. I have also been issued a full refund to my card.. for this I wish to say thank you to Toys Central.

Happy phishing!

Delivery takes forever and they will spam you with phishing mails, requesting additional payments to release your shipment (arrives anyway, but still)!

Used products and spam

I ordered items that were designed for the visually impaired. One item was a deck of playing cards with braille in the corners. The cards arrived wrapped in an elastic band and showed clear signs of wear and tear. I sent a message to customer support who sent out another item but it was equally as used and worn. To add to this, ever since using Toys Central I have been inundated with spam messages. I would advise against using this site regardless of what they are offering.

UPDATE: They reached out through Trust Pilot as they didn't believe my review was genuine and looked for more information. To be honest I can't believe the lack of self-awareness. They have my email address and they can easily verify my orders and complaints.
