Touchbistro is a scam. Despite canceling in writing they have continued to charge my business account. Do not sign up with them. You've been warned.
I cancelled my account 5 months ago and was told someone would reach out in 1-10 business days. Still haven't heard back and they keep charging me for services I'm not using. Cancelled my credit card... Zobacz więcej

If I could give Touchbistro a starless rating I would….by far the worst Pos system I have ever used…. From the moment we began using it was a disaster…. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this system at all costs…. Customer service is non existent…. Menu never synced…. The list goes on and on…. Stay away !

What looked like a good transition from one POS to another started out great. Onboarding, training, and the time spent with me getting to know the software. Initially the system was fine. However, once I noticed that some of their initial programming was incorrect, it was downhill from there. What should have been an easy programming fix completely messed up the layout, missing icons, missing menu items and categories. It was a nightmare for the servers to work around and for our customers to wait for a simple bill. Customer service wasn't there when I needed them most. The reply was "a bug in the backend affecting a handful of customers". It started shortly after starting up with the system and due to the customer service not received and the issue not being resolved over a couple months, I chose to cancel and go back to the previous POS. I did sign a contract and have no issues with that fact. I reached out to possibly split the cost of the cancellation fee, I still have the hardware and would pay for the incentives to bring me onboard. No luck or maybe not talking to the right person. There are many positive reviews for this POS, but my experience was not even close aside from the initial start up. Hopefully you get to write a positive review if you try their product and my experience is rare.

Zero customer service.....like absolutely nothing!
I have been trying for well over a month to get even a response from their ironically nabbed "professional" team, not a single word back. Email after email, all in the same thread they had been communicating with me on, right up until I requested to cancel!
So now the only communication I've received from these fraudsters, is invoices for a service that isn't being provided, and charges on my credit card!
Then, on another review I left a week ago, they asked me to reach out to them to get the matter resolved, gave an email for their "review" department to do so......and guess what, that department apparently receives the same customer service training as their "professional" team, cause they have also ignored the long email I sent them, providing my account number and the details of the issues we've been having.
Don't trust them, once they've got your billing info, they'll just keep stealing your money, and ignore any attempts to get free of them!
I have been using TouchBistro since 2020.
The program is very easy to use. When I have had issues their help center has always been kind, quick and efficient is solving any issue. They understand that we are running business and time is important that we get back online quickly.

Wow!! The Worst!
After I requested to get out of their mediocre system, I was told someone would be in touch, then I have been ignored for a month now....despite numerous attempts to reach someone! But don't worry, while they have ignored me, they haven't forgotten to charge me $535 a month for a system I haven't used in 6 months!
If my credit card company fraud department can't get me my money back, I will be cancelling that card, to at least cut these crooks off stealing more of my money!!
Update: they replied to this review, as you can see below, asked me to email them about my issue.....guess what, they've ignored that email too!
So you're responding to my review about how you're customer service team has been ignoring my emails, and then ignore me when I do trust you and take you up on your offer to help?
Sure looks like it's more about public image than about customer service, or I'm sure they'd have managed to respond in the last 6 days! Managed to find and respond to my review within a day, so we know they're capable of doing it, they just don't give a $hit about their existing customers.....once they've got your credit card, they'll just keep ignoring you, and charging that up!
Crooks and cons, all of them!

I have worked with several POS systems and although I would be the first to admit NONE of them are perfect, TouchBistro is reliable, easy to use, and so far, easy to get support for. Support has been responsive majority of the time and I usually have no issues getting in contact with my Account Manager who is helpful (even if they are just answering a question and there isn't a possible upsale! lol) The Loyalty Program has been a breeze to setup up along with the Online Ordering features. The CRM is becoming more & more handy for me to review my customer base and allow me to improve customer return business & new customer business.

I appreciate the hold times usually aren't too long and the techs I talk to can usually resolve any issues quickly. We have only one pos in our cafe so the techs are always patient if we need to interrupt them to assist a customer. For software usability it's pretty intuitive, with some annoying quirks along the way, but they're overlooked easy enough with the other benefits. The only thing I absolutely HATE is that there's no way to turn off the receipt printing. It automatically prints two copies and leads to a ton of unnecessary waste.

In my prior job, I was a POS technician. I've installed many POS systems from TouchBistro, I must say that their POS systems are very reliable and customer care reps. are always great to deal with.

I wanted to upgrade from basic POS to something with more features. Gave them a shot. From day 1: gift cards never worked. escalated to tech for a month and gave up. Still waiting for refund 2 months later. From day 1: system would crash up to 10-15 times a day. They have known about the issue and tech has been working on it for 2 months. Today I gave up in frustration and cancelled. I cant run a business this way. No Support or accountability at all. Doubt I will get the refund I asked for. Waste of money and time.

We opened our craft beer bar about 2.5 years ago and just sold it. Thanks to TouchBistro one of the most used and possibly largest hurdle to new businesses, the POS, was super simple to learn and use. All of our employees loved the system and would highly recommend to any bar.

Not easy to use like they say. They make promises to get you to stay then don't follow through. They take money out your account when they are not supposed to and claim they don't see any evidence of it on their system. They sell you products you don't need. They offer third party companies serving that costs an arm amd a leg just to "integrate" and you are still left to pay the regular monthly fees.
Menu was not setup properly so orders couldn't be placed, card payments couldn't be processed even after following the instructions that were emailed. Not worth it at all!!!! Be careful!!
Have been using touch bistro for about 10 years now. It’s a great POS platform for restaurants. Their technical support team is always available and waiting time is 0-5min never more than 5. System is so good for restaurants and also easy to edit. I recommend this to restaurant owners if you are looking to upgrade your business. Their reports are easy to understand and have many online options like reservation and gift cards.
