Tonal continues to be an excellent personalized workout. With it's flexibility, there is not a body part that I'm unable to focus on. I love the options, the suggested workouts, the yoga additions. Live feedback on form during workout is very helpful.

Entirely Worth It
My family and I have really enjoyed Tonal. The fact that you can come in and just press play and get stronger is huge. No notebooks to keep track of what you did last time and no need to have a partner for spotting you. It knows when to push so you get incrementally stronger. It has been a game changer for our family.

The device and workouts are good- customer service could use a lot of help
The machine and workouts are good. Customer service is very slow. You can tell they don't have much training or experience. They aren't good listeners and communicators (the 2 low level first line folks I ran into can't speaking clearly). When escalated to the manager- it was more professional and the lady spoke clearly and could be understood. The handles broke on use and it is taking so long for them to understand the issue. They keep bouncing around departments because the contacted personnel don't have correct authority. Once approved for replacement it goes to another department for shipping etc and i still haven't head back after 4+ days. This is not a good streamlined workflow for the company and leads to bad customer experience with having to be on the sideline and not being able to keep up with their regular tonal programming.

I love the workout programs
I love the workout programs! You don’t have to think about what you’re going to do, you just show up. I’ve seen faster strength growth working with Tonal than with trainers. It also takes my ego out of it because I get the weight I can properly handle, even if that’s only 8lbs. It’s convenient and I never get bored with my workouts now!

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. The team on the phone does no know their own product. The installation team was unwilling to assist. The claim to call you back but when you select a day and time they call 3 days later.

Buy it for $4-5k, pay $60 to use the features… I only use custom workout don’t follow their program, I have had this since 2021, why do I pay $60 each month , this morning I had to put my credit card in before I could workout , inside my house… why wouldn’t I just go to lifetime and use all amenities as well, and not to mention, the gains aren’t as noticible on this pull bar system as people that go regularly to the gym… so pay $60 each month to use my own device? Screw yall

Owning a Tonal for a few years
Tonal resistance is unlike free weight or machine resistance. Its harder. And it engages support muscles to a greater degree. I have found it effective, interactive, more convenient than having to change plates for free weight exercises. The touchscreen is intuitive and frankly inspiring. There's a lot of exercises I didn't even know about. All in all, wife and I love it.
