We started The Wool Company making socks from kid mohair, the fleece shorn from baby Angora goats, but soon realised that there was a serious shortage of supply of high quality natural wool products of many kinds and started to develop our range. As well as selling to retail customers online we supply a number of corporate customers including world wide hotel chains, boutiques, stores, boutique hotels, breweries chains etc. Our wholesale division is relatively small but growing well, we now have excellent wholesale clients in the UK and abroad. At The Wool Company we have always felt that the the use of natural fibres for bedding and clothing is better in every way than petrochemical products and it is our mission to share our belief with the rest of the world that cares to listen. Our watchword is Quality: we source as many of our products as we can from the UK and most of our suppliers make their products in Britain and our famous sheepskins are mostly from Devon and Cornwall, but we also like to think that we supply the very best quality wool products from around the world so you can be confident that whatever you buy from us is of superb quality. We don't favour inferior UK products over better products from abroad. The Wool Company's priorities: High Quality ...... Value for Money ...... Local Sourcing. - Because of our low overheads you can also be confident of getting real value for money from us: you may be able to buy cheaper elsewhere but we don't believe you will get the same quality for the price! Beautiful Baby Blankets
Received these baby blankets in excellent time. Really soft & snugly, as well as being excellent quality. I might even buy some more! Brilliant value for money and great company to deal with. Would thoroughly recommend!

Lovely quality product, just what I was looking for.
I looked everywhere for a satin edged cellular blanket for my new baby that was as lovely as the one I dragged everywhere as a child. Eventually found the wool companies website, the blanket sounded good and was great value. I was not disappointed when it arrived. It is excellent quality, soft and washes well. Very happy!

Just how a shawl for a new born should be soft cuddly and fine.
I've recieved two differing colours and they are fantastic, for my new grandchild due in October, my daughter-inlaw and son are thrilled one for coming home in and one for the christening.
Would use again and recommend you to friends and family.

Throws arrive before grandchildren!
Wonderful! Good, helpful discussion with Harry on-line re suitable throws which helped me to make up my mind. Only problem was with payment website, but in effect no problem as made order easily by phone (late Tuesday) added to order early Wednesday and throws arrived at my home in France nr Geneva on Friday lunchtime! Family arrived that evening. Throws appreciated not only to cover sofa but also because they are cuddly. The extra one lovely, tempted to keep it rather than for present as planned.
Excellent company to deal with. Thoroughly recommended

I had excellent service from the staff on the phone. I would have like to order online but vouchers couldn't then be used.
My parcel arrived very quickly and well packaged.
The range of yarn is good tho' I would appreciate a few more colours.

Beautiful products
The sheepskin took a little longer to arrive than anticipated, but they sent me a few emails to apologise and keep me very informed of exactly when the delivery would arrive.
We bought the sheepskin & the dandelion blue blanket which is so soft and very good quality.

Bedtime Bliss in a Box
The duvet is lighter than I expected as I am used to a heavy weight feather affair which rustles and creaks. The new duvet is warm but not heavy and has taken some getting used to. I really like it and it is much easier to make the bed and keep it looking elegant.
I would recommend buying the king size for a double bed for extra luxury. The item is well made and covered in a very satisfying quality of cotton.
Now for me the real star of the show is the mattress topper. It did not fail in its delivery of heavenly comfort. I have been tempted to have a lie down in the afternoon as it so very comfortable.

Another familiar friend in the house, would not have anything else but cellular wool. Smart name for the best blanket in the world.

Beautiful product, our new baby loves it
