Absolutely dreadful I’ve contacted this company several times on the general enquiry and have been totally ignored so I tried the doctors enquiry and still nothing, I ordered my prescription on the 2.7.25 and paid £165 plus postage but have received nothing or any explanation as to why it’s taking so long. Weight is now going back on which is very upsetting.. AVOID AVOID AVOID DREADFUL

I have gone through the Slimming Clinic for years as I trusted and knew the product but since found out the company has been sold many times.
I placed my order 3 days ago and strange I have not received confirmation my order was in its way. I’ve been trying to call, chat but it seems the company is not operational!
Very poor as they have now lost a customer of over 20 years! Very unprofessional.

DO NOT PAY online until you know the company is operating.

I would rate this company NO stars if I could ! I ordered from this company in the middle of may and have received no refund and no product even after contacting them multiple times . I have had response with the same thing every time telling me to leave a message on the website but still then I have no response. I am seriously contemplating going to medical companies and leaving a very bad complaint. I want my money back it wasn’t cheap and I cannot deal with continuing being ignored !

This company is hit or miss, sometimes a great experience sometimes not, Lydia is great but she’s only one person, they took my money under the name Slim at Home so perhaps new management better customer service

Everyone stay the hell away from this company lies after lies after lies. All they cause you is stress and disappointment im absolutely so frustrated with them. Read the reviews how they are still getting away with this is beyond me. Sick of it. STAY AWAY...

This company are absolutely shocking!! They have had my money for 1 month and I have sent at least 20 messages and no action.
I am reporting them to my bank and trading standards, I would advise everyone to do the same!’

I have used this company with no issues for over a year but I would seriously avoid making any orders now. My orders are now not arriving and no response from customer service as I am requesting a refund following an order over 2 months ago still not processed.

used this company a year ago and recommended to a number of people, then for some reason in June they took my payment (and my friends) and no response, no medication despite numerous e mails and messages, the last message was, due to circumstances beyond our control there is a delay, but they have 163 pounds of money I have asked for a refund and will now contact my bank to see if they can claim the money back. IN my opinion go to your local independent chemist, they now stock weight loss peptides !

Such a scam. The team are more than happy to contact you when getting your details and taking your money, and then- nothing. They don’t update you, there’s no way to contact anybody or raise concerns m, and they have all of your money and personal details ! Such a terrible experience I would never trust this company again. Huge waste of time and a scam

No, The Slimming Clinic is no longer trading. The company was dissolved on April 15, 2025. It was previously in administration, which ended on January 15, 2025.

It says here replies to 81% of negative reviews?? they haven't responded to mine on here or on their own platform which is the only contact means, just absconded with the money. Trust a doctor really?? Now in hands of the court. CCJ Issued. I will not let this go £504 is a lot of money.

SCAM!!! They take your money and don't send the medication!! Report to GOV.UK website and Action Fraud if you've got the same issue.

Used this company on and off for years and normally ok. But ordered my slimming tablets weeks ago and had nothing but cheek off of the staff who send email replies that make no sense! Obviously under new management or owners as it's went wayyyy down hill. Still no update on my order but they take the money instantly! Disgusting way to treat people who are paying for help to loose weight!!

Ordered pen 29th May and still not received. Few emails saying sorry but nothing turned up. What can I do, really having withdrawals.

If I could 0 stars this would be the company.

The Government website re Limited companies states The Slimming Clnic became insolvent in January 2025.
Surely it is not legal to continue to take people’s money?
I very much doubt there will be any reply to this comment!
If I have lost my money, with no chance of medication, I would rather be told the truth than waste my time communicating with no sign of a reply.
They have now had my money for six weeks.
To add insult, I continue to receive numerous texts and emails encouraging me to place an order.
From reading other reviews, along with my own experience, I believe this is a scam. It’s unbelievable so many people have lost money, remain frustrated and ignored, yet the Slimming Clinic continues to tout for orders.

Shocking have been waiting for a refund since May cannot seem to get anyone on the phone to speak to me been back and forward e mailing the same nonsense for months if your not providing your customers with the medication you have a duty as a company to make refunds within the 16 day period a lot of excuses and very mixed communication I’ve been with the slimming clinic off/on for years they seem to now be doing more items and services yet can’t keep in touch or refund long serving customers since May it’s a disgrace I’ve heard from many friends who have experienced similar issues which is quite sad as I enjoyed every trip and call made with the previous staff very disappointed in the service now

I placed an order for 3 months of slimming tablets 27th June 2025 and they still have not arrived. I am being emailed and told they are out of stock however my friend received hers last week after only 10 days. They have £220 of my money and after numerous phone messages and sending numerous emails I am totally being ignored. So much for the complaints email address! No response at all. It’s basically theft now that they’re refusing to refund if indeed the medication is out of stock. So I’ve been left with no choice to report to the police and ICO. Disgusting do not buy from them I believe the company has been sold / going bust.

I received a reply 2 days ago and yes I am now waiting on doctor review ??? How long can they leave you waiting ?

Worst experience - most unethical company ive ever dealt with.
Abyssmal service from start to finish. They took hundreds of pounds off my credit card without authorisation and after a month of waiting, still didnt send the slimming pen !! Wouldnt refund my account and told me the credit card company would deal with it. No apology given or ant responsibility for wrong doing taken. Put enormous amount of sress and worry on me and i had to access the charity Mind for emotional support as they dont care about their patients. They'll answer this review with a stock answer of contacting them so they can look into it. Absolutely dreadful. Worst experience ive endured.
