Just the worst venue

Just the worst venue. Super slow and pointless airport style security. Not letting food or drinks in?ridiculous waits to get in every time. Dread coming here

Tried to book tickets through my sky…

Tried to book tickets through my sky app and was transferred to the o2 website. When I tried to book the tickets it seems o2 carry out a credit check. Cost me 12 points off my score for tickets that were not actually available.

Great but a few issues

Attended many concerts here, would not recommend the higher tier seats as you feel like you are tipping forward.. sound is good and a decent view from most lower blocks..
Food and drink is very expensive £3.50 for a can of coke!!
WiFi is terrible and had issues trying to get in on etickets and staff getting impatient!

Love going to the O2

Love going to the O2. Really nice venue. Although last year had a restricted view seat behind the control desk which isn't what it was sold at but still a good view, incredibly close to the B-Stage used for that concert.

Slow and expensive

Nice building. Clean and tidy.

Getting in was as bad as airport security. Queued for 40 mins.
Parking was a joke as it can change day to day. Was told there was a flat rate across car park 1-2-3 of £36. And car park 4 was closed for reserved parking only. Non of this was I able to find online in advance.

I’d recommend going to see a show in the west end.

DON'T BOTHER BUYING A SEATED TICKET, YOU WON'T GET TO SEE THE CONCERT !

We went to the O2 to see MUSE. Food there was a bit expensive, however the food and service was excellent. After a very enjoyable meal and a couple of drinks we went in and found our seats easily. From then on it went downhill .... As soon as Muse appeared almost everyone around us stood up and never sat down again. We paid a lot of money for seated tickets with a great view, but sadly due to the ignorant people around us standing up for the whole concert we couldn't see the stage at all. If people want to stand up and dance, then they should buy tickets for the standing areas, not seated areas!!! Muse were great from what we could hear, but not see! I will never go and see a concert at the O2 again until they put a policy in place where PEOPLE WITH SEATS SHOULD REMAIN SEATED like they do at a football ground. Such a shame as the O2 is actually a great place.

My weekend spot

In all honesty The O2 is my favourite weekend place to come and chill. Selection of dining places, recently shopping and the cinema. The venue is dated but I love that they're trying to keep it fresh with opening The Icon and now expanding it. First impressions are not great when you have to pass via the smoking area outside and (most of time) rude security. False sense of security with those bothersome x-ray is just ridiculous, I don't think it makes anyone safer and it's just for a show - it's been proven that it doesn't make airports safer so I doubt it would make The O2 safer too.
Arena toilets are plain horrible and I've seen better bio toilets on BSF in Hyde Park.

A great Venue

I like the O2. It's a nice venue, view from all seats I've been in is good, it's clean, there's a lot of choice around, parking attendance appear to be on the ball and in my experience have handled large scale exit as best they can. Food is a bit expensive but it's good quality - I'd rather that than pay less for rubbish. The situation over getting everyone in on time could be addressed - there must be a way. In theatres, if you're not through in time you can't be admitted until half time. would be harsh but perhaps people would be more inclined to allow enough time?

the only let down is in the choice of AXS as ticket provider - lots of problems which are really letting down the O2 and its reputation

Disgraceful

Disgraceful.
Yes Buble concert was wonderful. Three issues. The price of food and drink is disgraceful -£7.50 for a 50p hot dog. The inability of some to get to their seats by 8.pm, consequently it started 20 minutes late. The 02 should continually remind those who wander slowly to their seats 15 and 20 minutes late that 90% of us made the effort to get there on time. Lock the doors and let them in between numbers. And to those selfish ones who stood in the non tiered areas blocking views for those who were unable to stand for two hours. Thanks.

Went to the Olly Murs concert with my…

Went to the Olly Murs concert with my son on Saturday
Great concert but three issues:
1. At the end of the concert, all exits apart from the main entrance were closed, I think this was a mistake.
Not only does it mean you have. greater amount of people all walking in the same direction, its slows the flow and speed of people all clearly wanting to get home. when you have an 11 year old it just adds to the stress as some people are barging through without any consideration for children.
2. What is the point of paying for V.I.P tickets and being told entry is via the THE LOFT when you have to come all the way down again and walk miles to enter through a general security entrance.
3. Please sort the WIFI out it was very poor and non existence which was very frustrating, especially when one wants to post things there and then and you can't.
4. Also, it was far too hot, there was definitely inadequate cooling in the building.

Best day out with kids at gymnastics at…

Best day out with kids at gymnastics at the weekend. Arena is incredible. Queues were managed really well. Lots of different good and drink options. Something for everyone and the public Transport was easy too. Would look for events here to take the family to. They even had an outlet store for shopping.

Food and drink prices a rip off !!!

Just returned back from the country2country concert, that was great as always but the o2 arena just completely rips people of with the completely over the top prices for food, drinks etc. If you can, take some stuff in, but they search bags, so put it on your person, I will go to small venues from now on,

Appalling!

Been trying to get tickets for BTS since they released on 1st June, First they cancelled the pre-sale with not reason and 12 hours before it was supposed to happen. Then I never even got to leave the queue the day tickets went on sale, Tickets have been on resale sites for £5,000 + and they keep releasing tickets with no warning. People have been scamming others and selling tickets they don't have and they do not seem bothered at all. I have found their contact and help useless as I never got any proper answers. The way they have handled this whole situation has been very POOR. I understand BTS have a very passionate fanbase but we have been left in the dark at every corner with no help at all!

A Kafkaesque nightmare

We went to the Hearts of the Hollywood exhibition at the O2 Quadrant on Saturday, 23 June for 2:30 We had bought tickets from Lastminute.com, which instructed us to collect our tickets from the box office. When we arrived at the box office, we were told that they did not deal with 3rd party tickets and told us to go back to the exhibition entrance where they should sort us out. The staff member at the entrance told us she needed something to scan before she could let us in. I contacted Lastminute who provided us with a voucher but it did not scan. We asked if we can talk to someone else who would know something about this but this staff member insisted we go back to the box office because “they” did not deal with tickets. Despite the fact we had already told her the box office told us they did not deal with 3rd party tickets, she kept insisting she needed something to scan before she could let us in and then gave us unhelpful and unsolicited advice on not purchasing third-party tickets at the O2.

So again, we went back to the box office where they told us the same thing and told us to speak to the manager back at the exhibition. So once again, we went back to the exhibition entrance and asked to speak to the manager, but instead the exhibition staff member came with us to the box office and she was told the same thing we had already relayed to her. At this point, she said she “sort of” understood and upon returning to the exhibition, she FINALLY went to the get the manager in charge and as soon as he saw our ticket voucher, he said it was fine and that ENCORE, the ticket issuer is one of the partners. So we were finally let in.

We spent an HOUR trying to get into an exhibition we had bought tickets for and it appears all this time that the staff member at the entrance was uninformed and unhelpful. If she had only gone straight to the manager the first time, it would not have been a problem. She admitted that she believed we had purchased tickets but because she couldn't scan it, she won't let us in and made us go through this Kafkaesque nightmare instead of going to the manager to see if something can be done about it. All when the exhibition had less than a handful of people there.

Our time was wasted and our mood considerably soured I was unable to enjoy the exhibition. It took us longer to get in than it did to go through the exhibition. Such incompetence.

We attended the Queen+Adam Lambert …

We attended the Queen+Adam Lambert concert. When we arrived there and tried to use the E-tickets we were told that we need to have them printed, which is ilogical because it basically is the same ticket. If you don't have anywhere else to go quickly and print them, they will charge you £3.50 per ticket for a reprint on site. All this considering that you already paid additional fees of £10+£1.75 for God knows what. Disgraceful!
