Sadly great concert but the venue just confirms the idea of rip off culture. £4.50 for a bottle of water, they take the lid for no explanation at all with an attitude but it or don't we dont care. No... Zobacz więcej

The O2 Venue app is honestly awful. It locks you out for no reason, constantly thinks you’re a bot, and won’t even let you reset your password when you need to access your tickets. It’s incredibly str... Zobacz więcej

Bad acoustics
Went to see Micky Flanagan he was great, however, the acoustics was awful.
The support act was good as far as I could hear and pick up what he was saying. Not his fault.
Micky was good but same the acoustics needs to be looked at.
Dreadful experience at the O2 seeing…
Dreadful experience at the O2 seeing Micky Flanagan.
The show suffered with some acoustic problems making it very difficult to hear the performance.
Drinks in the Amex Lounge were let down by a lack of choice. No beer pumps working, no Guinness, low or zero alcohol options just over priced wines and spirits.
Finally getting out of the venue is an absolute disgrace. No marshalling of the traffic, roads conned off, constant building work - took an hour to leave the car park. The O2 needs a complete rethink of the customer experience.
Individuals vaping inside the venue, even though there are signs clearly saying no vaping. Selfish thick people who can’t read as Micky would say.
I’d choice another venue when I go to see another show in the future.
Poor Comedy Venue & Rip-Off
Shocking venue for comedy. Way too big and made worse by patrons unable to go without a drink or a toilet break for 80 minutes. Our seat was by one of the floor exits and the e constant stream of people completely disrupted the show. The temporary seats we had were tight and had no legroom, The costs of food and drink is scandalous; £8.50 a pint, £13 a glass of wine. AMEX lounge is decent but obviously plagued by same price list.
Staff amazing/ Micky Flannigan disappointing
The staff were extremely helpful, as my husband is disabled, made us feel very welcome. I was disappointed with the show though. Micky Flannigan (If ever we needed it) I've been a fan for a long time and was anticipating a hilarious show. But Micky came on late said he had sore throat, which isn't nice but only did an hour and maybe 15 minutes. We for one had paid alot of money to get there and ticket, but Micky kept saying I know you've gotta get going reasonably early. Seriously, we were abit annoyed as the warm up act did about half hour, he was very good, but Micky, I felt did a half hearted job. Gutted as we have been massive fans. Felt like he couldn't wait to go, his material though quite funny not up to usual standard. I hope his future shows are longer and he gets back to the Micky we all fell in love with.
£4 for water. £10 for popcorn
£4 for water and £10 for popcorn?!!! Ridiculous
Poor service. Vaping everywhere.
What is it with people Vaping everywhere? In the performance arena it clearly states you can not vape in there but people where continously doing so. Completely ruined our experience of watching Paramore. Staff did nothing. Shambles.
Don’t go to the O2
Worse experience after o2. The show was amazing but afterwards, no organisation after the show and took longer to get out the area then the actual show. Everything over priced, what a soulless experience after a great show
We had a guy sat in front of us vaping…
We had a guy sat in front of us vaping .. we told a member of staff as it was coming into our faces and the member of staff did nothing. It was down to us to ask the guy in Front to stop.
Elton John at the 02
After paying to see Elton John back in 2018 the show was postponed in 2020 due to covid. I am supposed to be finally seeing him tomorrow evening at the 02. 02 stipulates that you have to use their 02 venue app to access your tickets - however despite trying many times I am unable to setup or access the o2 app and see my tickets. I have sent various messages to both 02 and ticketmaster for assistance - while I have a response from both 02 and Ticketmaster - the help was useless and didnt work - and with less than 24 hours to go I still have no tickets and not even sure I can access the event. I have wait 5 years to see Elton! I cannot express how disappointed and heartbroken I will be if denied access.
The O2 (O2 Arena) / Amex Lounge - Room for Improvement
Went to The O2 (O2 Arena) to see Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road concert. The actual concert was great
BUT
1. We had access to the AMEX Lounge - overcrowded and overpriced (long queues at the bar, not enough seating) - poor experience.
2. Long queues at concessions. Not enough staff.
3. Inadequate toilet facilities - we were near Block 102. The Gents was relabelled Ladies, women expected to use a few cubicles next to dirty urinal troughs. Used sanitary towels left on top of WCs (no bins provided). Where were the Mens toilets?
4. Massive queues for underground at North Greenwich after the event.
All of these issues (apart from point 4.) are avoidable. The O2 holds hundreds of big events every year but fail to get hold of these basic issues. Could do better.
Thought I would update on my situation…
Thought I would update on my situation and how bad O2 is, had fold 4 wanted to switch to 14 but had none so decided to get the 13 and put deposit down for 14 collected 11th Nov.
I switched to the 13 pro max 1tb as only one they had in store and put deposit down for the 14 pro max 256gb which collected 11th of November so got deposit back and handed back the 13, it’s now 16th March and still left with paying for the 13 not the 14 as found out in the end the las cancelled the wrong contract not only that but she put the returning device as the 14 pro max 128gb when I got the 256gb for starters but it should of been the 13, the store isn’t interested and won’t take responsibility and either will customer service as been to the store 7x as customer service tell me I have to do it in store, and been on the phone 8x or so as the store tell me they can’t do nowt that I have to phone customer service , got trading standards involved as o2 have breached the contract,
Kept being told lies and promises told I would get a call back twice and I didn’t , told I would get a call back from a manager I didn’t, told I would get a call back today I didn’t, told I would get my money back 10 days after the 15th February never did, waiting on money still, told I would get the phone first as started nee contract and then send this back but not received phone yet told need to send this one back first, so all in all switch up is a waste of time and o2 as a whole is a scam.
bad to good
Mortifying prices, was almost sent into a coma from just browsing the drinks list. Not a long wait to get into the arena. Was questioned about my age by a staff member while getting a wristband. Was quite offended really? Like how dare you question MY age? That’s extremely personal information. Although the lady who said it seemed quite nice. All smiley. Sure she’s a lovely person despite our little dispute. The supporting acts I could not hear at all. Too much music. Mics need to be turned up. But to be fair I was grateful that I couldn’t hear the first act, because they were truly awful. first performance was the equivalent of a school talent show performance. Brought multiple boys on stage no older than 16. Also chucked water over the front row, luckily I wasn’t near the front or I would’ve thrown hands on those little roadmen. Dancing about like absolute tw@ts. Repulsing. Pretty good view. Stood near the front for the support, moved back for dizzee and still had a pretty good view. Second performance was a-lot better, lady leshurr brought me up from the depths of hell from the backroad gee performance and back up to heaven with queens speech. Third act, JME, started off a bit dead but the crowd soon filled up and he got the crowd going. That’s how you do a support, gotta pump the crowd up before the final act. And finally for the main act dizzee rascal. I was slightly put off by the first song, could not see him or hear him, but to be fair, as the performance continued it definitely improved. Outstanding visuals, one of the best I’ve seen. I don’t know many dizzee songs and thought I would be bored until bonkers came on but I surprisingly enjoyed his back to back play of boy in da corner. Signing off with dance wiv me, baseline junkie and bonkers was a true way to end an incredible set.
Terrible sound, outrageous prices
They just don't seem to be able to get the sound levels right. Been to a lot of concerts here now and if you're not near the front the base just drowns out the vocal.
£19 for a bugger when you can't leave the venue or bring your own food is outrageous!
Never again going to the 02. The customer service is non existent
They charged me massive booking fees (a total of £20 on booking fees which is ridiculous.) I had a family emergency and have to leave the country. Contacted AXS 3 days before the show. They said that they will get back to me about the refund. They never did. NO ONE HELPED ME. I chased it up. They said they asked at the 02 and the 02 said no. I contacted the 02, they said that is on AXS. The email fron the staff member of the 02 didn'teven bkther to read what I wrote, wheb I clearly said that AXS said that I had to contact them. Honestly is a scam. I used to go to a lot of events in the 02, NEVER AGAIN THEY CAN'T CARE LESS ABOUT PEOPLE BUT THEY CHARGE YOU AN ARM FOR "BOOKING FEES."
O2 Arena needs some improvements
O2 Arena needs some improvements. Drinks v pricy , queues ridiculous, sold out of red wine. TfL closed jubilee line (unhelpful). Peter Kaye though terrific.
Outrageous money making bag policy
I went to see Strictly Live on 3 February. I was appalled at their rule that you cannot take bags bigger than an A4 pad in. This is purely money making. I had a backpack with a laptop in and there is plenty of space to leave it under your seat!!! It should be printed on the ticket so you can plan accordingly. They then charge you £10 (i literally cannot believe that price) to leave your bag at the bag drop outside the arena. Unbelievably outrageous money making scheme!
We had an absolutely AWFUL experience…
We had an absolutely AWFUL experience at Country to Country where our seats were stolen by people and 'people' then charged and pushed past security and overrun the venue and we couldn't get anywhere near our seats or stage. it was SCARY and the staff DID NOTHING.
I have been complaining now for about 8 months told I would get a refund 2 months later STILL NO REFUND AND NOT REPLYING. BY FAR THE WORS COMPANY / VENUE TO DEAL WITH.
O2 needs to stop making people throw away food they bring
I’ve been to 2 shows at the o2 over the Christmas period and am shocked that especially with the cost of living crisis, people are told to throw away any food or drink they have! Especially when the food on offer inside is only what I would class as awful junk food with extortionate prices and long queues! O2 please reconsider your policy and allow people to take in their own food and drink as you are not able to offer a decent cost efficient option and are making people literally throw away good food! How can this make sense?
I went to a Paul Heaton concert…
I went to a Paul Heaton concert recently. Firstly my experience of the O2 staff was mixed. From being professional in their presentation to being abrupt and curt. Definitely room for improvement in customer service. Secondly, the drinks prices are exorbitant, especially considering you are barred from bringing in any drinks. I just refuse to pay those prices. Concert was great though, got upgraded to better seats. Can’t complain about that!
Exploiting the public
Well, I have been to the O2 arena many times, a few times in the suite and a few in the arena seats. Up until now I have tolerated my disappointment and frustration of the O2 as a business.
Let's get this out of the way... the shows I have been to have been great and enjoyable.
Now, about the O2 arena..... the food is diabolical, tasteless , overpriced and tastes as if it has been prepared in the dark. The government bangs on about eating 5 a day and choosing healthy options, but hey the healthiest option is the bottled water. People with medical or diet issue,
be warned.... The choices of food available are limited and frankly unappetizing, not to mention very pricey. Who exactly are these catering companies, have they tasted the crap they serve the public at these ludicrous prices, and who at the top is running this organisation, are they running it in the dark too, all the way down the ranks it feels like people are forced into doing their jobs because some of the staff have a dont care attitude and an air of superiority that they are more privileged than you the patron.
The merchandise on sale are so expensive and not even good replicas of the characters they should be.
This is an iconic place for good rated shows, please read the reviews that have been posted about your establishment and act upon them,
Its is clear that people are paying your prices, so why not inspire, better service, and better experiences for attendees. A must though would be to sack these sub standard caterers and supply real quality options. If this proves too much like hard work , then allow us to bring in our own food, simple.
