The system and website is great. But, you will not make money.
You overpay for the gold and the cost of them keeping it safe. When you do decide to withdraw your funds, it will inevitably be less than what you put in. So this is not a way of making a profit.

At minted we want to ensure our customers have the opportunity to buy gold and silver in a simple, safe and affordable way.
Whenever gold bullion is sold, there is a premium added on top of the market rate (also known as the spot rate) this rate is only given to big banks who buy in very large quantities.
Our premiums on each of our products are very competitive and we want to ensure our customer get the best deals.
When you buy gold you always pay a premium on top of the market rate/value, when you sell on the app we buy back at 98.5% the market rate at that time, There is no compulsion to sell your gold to minted, you can always get it delivered and choose to sell elsewhere.
At minted we do not charge for storage or insurance for vaulting your gold/silver. We only charge a small premium when buying and this premium decreases the more you buy.
Not only that but we created an app where you can easily manage your precious metals, including buying, selling, delivering and transferring your assets.
We always have special offers on where we reduced our premiums to make it even more affordable for our customers.
Gold is also seen as a medium to long term asset and also as a safe haven

Convenience at it's best!
I have been using the app for the last 8 months both as a monthly plan and one-off buy. The whole process is super smooth, convenient, and offer best rates (compared with other retailers where you can buy physical gold). The storage is covered in the purchase cost which is huge peace of mind as you don't need to worry about security. I have not sold or got delivered gold with them so can't comment on those features yet.
Now coming to what needs to improve. The app is still very basic and lacks important functionality which you need as an investor and you end up using multiple resources; (1) There is no gold price historical chart, (2) It doesn't show how much you gained or lost, and (3) It doesn't show a chart how your portfolio is building overtime.

£30 a month, that a lot high not a lot of people can afford that especially nowadays, it would have been best to let the customer had a choice and less this app is only for the well-off, what I mean if the customers could afford £5 one month then buy gold for that amount and the next month if the could afford £20 then they will buy gold for £20 and so on.

Thanks to Minted I have been buying gold each month for the last 8 months, usually when you think of buying gold it is very expensive and hard to purchase but with this app I have been buying £30 worth of gold each month, which is a pretty good deal for me, I am not good with the crypto world but I know you can never go wrong with gold, so I picked this method to save for my future.

Would leave 0 stars if I could. Nothing but hassle since downloading the app. They are very quick to take your money but when you want to sell the gold they forget to tell you at the start that you have to verify with id your account. Once account was verified only allows you to sell full grams of gold not any part shares you own for savings account.
Honestly everyone avoid this app better off finding a site that actually works properly

I didn’t realise how quickly and easy it would for me to purchase gold without breaking the bank. Being able to set an affordable plan and knowing that I could change the amount or pause my plan at any time has given me that much needed flexibility. Minted is a lifesaver for savings and gold investment
Minted is a lifesaver from both an investment and savings point of view. My wife and I are always worried about having too much cash in the bank and with expenses of running businesses, it's hard to keep on top of finances.
I first realised the value of Gold after seeing the price of her wedding ring increase, so to put a £50 a month investment which I could access anytime was a no-brainer.
Highly recommend this app. P.S they're always bringing in new features and additional services.
