Multi box mallows tasted of cardboard

Unfortunately the mixed box when opened all the marshmallows smelt of cardboard and tasted similar. So disappointing If they were wrapped in clear plastic like the tea cakes it would be better. The flavours all merged and absorbed the packaging smell. They tasted awful it was an embarrassing gift. Deciding what to do with them as only ate 4 with guests. Too horrid to finish. Maybe melt them down. Are they supposed to be cooked first? on their own really not good. Also size too large for a mouthful

I am genuinely very saddened and surprised to hear this and am so sorry that you were disappointed. We pride ourselves on the quality of our mallows and we have only lovely reviews about all our treats,so your feedback is truly unexpected.
All our packaging is food-grade paper and is supplied and tested to ensure it does not emit any cardboard scent or affect the flavour. Our marshmallows are a signature large size to allow the fruit flavours to be savoured rather than just eaten in one mouthful. Im sorry again that they were not to your taste - but I truly hope you enjoy our teackes. With mallow love,

Excellent Treat/Gift

Lovely mallows and excellent customer service. I bought a few of these as 'thank you' and also 'christmas gifts' and have no doubt they will be enjoyed by all.

I have already had excellent feedback from someone who briefly heated a mallow on a gas stove using a metal skewer and then wedged it between a couple of NICE biscuits!

Not sure the extra delivery charge is worth it?

Don't know much about the product as it's still not arrived even though I paid nearly fiver for faster delivery last Thursday, described as 1-2 days on the website. Feel a bit let down, no comms other than a thanks for your purchase. Purchased as a gift for someone who is leaving for London today so feel a bit let down TBH.

A few issues with the couriers but eventually resolved by Oonagh, many thanks. My wife opened the Christmas selection and wow so impressed, beautiful presentation and I'm reliably informed the best marshmallow she's ever tasted and she's an expert. My daughter has returned from London and is in full agreement.

This was a repeat order

This was a repeat order, always a special treat to celebrate an important occasion. Very high quality product fast delivery and the best packaging I've seen makes opening the box a wonderful experience. Highly recommended I will be ordering again.

Halloween teacakes

Order some teacakes from The Marshmallowist, there was a little mix up with the order, but it was sorted out very promptly. The customer service was very good, and the products were very beautiful and tasty
