Excellent service and beautiful curtains
I came to TheHues after doing an Internet search for blackout curtains and was unsure what to expect. I left impressed with both the quality of the curtains and service that I received.
We needed curtains that would extend across two banks of windows. We’ve typically gotten our curtains at the usual mall furniture stores, but they could not reasonably accommodate our needs given the width we wanted.
After I contacted customer service for TheHues to ask about placing a custom order, they took a great deal of time and asked many questions about my existing hardware, to make sure that the curtains would fit that hardware, which was different from a typical rod. I did not expect this level of detail and it was reassuring.
When everything was finalized and the order was put in, the curtains arrived surprisingly quickly (in less than two weeks in this case, including shipping from the factory). The curtains are well-made. The stitching is straight and uniform, and the fabric is soft and drapes nicely.
Throughout the process of ordering, we had the feeling of working directly with the factory, and having more options than we otherwise would. I asked for a single, very wide panel that would open and close on just one side of the windows. Impressively, I got exactly what I asked for, a single continuous sheet of fabric. Some of the other custom curtain quotes we received said that they would sew together smaller panels to get the width we needed. We had those previously and they look and drape OK, but the single sheet of fabric of these new curtains do look and drape better.
Overall, very pleased with the curtains and the service we that received.

UVShield Triangle Shade Sail
I ordered one of the UVShield Triangle Sun Shade Sails with custom dimensions. The instructions said to provide exact measurements and TheHues would subtract 6 inches from each side to allow you to stretch it tightly. However, this didn't work and shade sail sagged too much, collecting rainwater. TheHues, after some discussion, made me a new Shade Sail with new dimensions that worked perfectly and allowed me to stretch the shade tightly. The product is great and the quality of the materials used are excellent.
