Order a blazer in size 3xl allowing for a bust up to 55 inches. The garment measured 48 inches. Also the fabric and button configuration were not as described online. Return policy is horrible. I finally took a 40% refund rather than escalate to my credit card company. I would not recommend this company.

Do not buy from this company. It is a terrible company, Facebook should kick them off. Ordered a what was called a cardigan. It looked like it was made out of a sweatshirt woven material. When I got it after two weeks of shipping, it was printed on cheap white knit material. The size was very small and the sleeves were three-quarter length. The picture looked like long sleeves were pushed up.
When you ask for your money back, since they to a 30 day money back guarantee, you’re told you must ship the item back to China paying international postage and fee fees before they’ll refund your money. That’ll cost you probably 30 bucks at a minimum. They graciously offered a 15% refund and said you could keep the item. I told him I don’t want the lousy item and wanted my money back.After back-and-forth emails they settled on a 30% refund. I feel embarrassed to even donate this item to a woman shelter since it is such poor quality.

This company is a sham. They make it look like you are ordering great sweaters from Connecticut when in fact everything is from China. My items came in wrong sizes and they don't look anything like the pictures. Bad on me for not checking reviews before I ordered - I won't do that again. Avoid this company!

It is not USA based, the product took longer than it was promised for delivery, the size is not as stated on the size chart. Correspondence with the company is poor and the return process is complicated. Stay away from this company.

Horrible. Sweater looks nothing like the pictures. The fabric is cheap and weird.

I am so sorry I did not read reviews before ordering an "elegant oversized sweater". I received a wrinkled item made of thin felt. They first offered me a 30% discount to keep the rag, then upped it to 40% and then 60%. I believe this is the policy to get money for nothing by saying you have to send it back to China. I will be reporting them to the FTC.

They present as being in CT but no store front location. It took a while to get it so I', fearing that the return postage that I have to pay may be international (maybe not since they paid shipping to me). Sweater's (very wide, loose) ribbing at the neck was folded under so I couldn't see it at all in the picture and picture showed very long sleeves, which are actually 3/4 length. Ugh, cuz it looked great online.

They make it next to impossible to return for refund. Plus dress was not as pictured and cheap material. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

I saw a sweater I wanted to purchase, but since there are so many scams, I always contact the company first. In the contact info, there was no phone number, but they listed that they were in Mystic, Connecticut. I emailed the contact and asked for their address in Mystic. I received a prompt reply, that they do not have a physical address, they were only online. However, they did not give me their location. I emailed back, saying that their website was misleading, they are probably in China and I would not place an order. They replied again saying they are a legitimate online store, and sorry for the misinformation. However, they haven’t changed their website. BEWARE…do not order from them.n it’s a scam.

I received a sweater that was supposed to be an XL. It was about 2 sizes too small. I have contacted Harbour 3 times & they have ignored me. Don’t buy from this company! Product is over priced and poor quality.

There are many ads on Facebook from this type of company. I have contacted Facebook and they won’t do anything about them.
I too had a similar situation with a $150 order. They refused to send a return label and it would have cost me $90 to return the items. They agreed to a 20% refund which I never got.
They advertise under many different names but are all from the same location in China.
I will never again order from anything on Facebook.

Buyer Beware: Presented as Mystic, CT — Returns Sent to China at Your Expense

I strongly recommend that potential customers read this before ordering from The Harbour Wardrobe.

I purchased the Hannah | Casual Elegant Daily Style dress for $54.95 based on the photographs and description on their website. The company presents itself as The Harbour Wardrobe in Mystic, Connecticut.

What I received looks substantially different from the product advertised. The advertised dress appears to have a shaped bodice and waist, a flowing silhouette, textured-looking fabric and detailed floral embellishment. What arrived is an extremely oversized, straight-cut garment with completely different-looking fabric and floral detailing. I have photographs of the advertised dress and the garment I actually received, and the difference is striking.

I immediately contacted the company and provided photographs. Instead of issuing a full refund, they first offered me a 25% refund, then 30%, and now 40% if I keep the dress. They have also offered 50% store credit.

After repeatedly requesting a full refund and a prepaid return label because the merchandise was not as advertised, I was finally told I could return it for a full refund — but at my own expense to an address in Dongguan, Guangdong, CHINA.

This was particularly disturbing to me because I purchased from a website presenting the business as The Harbour Wardrobe in Mystic, Connecticut. I was not aware when I placed my order that a return would have to be shipped internationally to China at my expense. Had that been clearly disclosed to me before purchasing, I would never have placed the order.

Their website also advertised a 30-day return/money-back guarantee, which I fortunately screenshotted.

I have offered to return the dress if The Harbour Wardrobe provides a prepaid shipping label. I do not believe I should have to pay potentially expensive tracked international postage to China to obtain a refund for an item that, in my opinion and based on my photographs, is materially different from the item advertised.

I have also repeatedly asked the company to identify the payment method and last four digits used for my order, because the Shop order record does not display it and I was not provided a separate payment receipt. As of this review, they have not provided that information.

I have now filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and have retained screenshots of the original advertisement, the advertised return guarantee, my order information, photographs of what I actually received, and all correspondence with the company.

My experience: the product received did not resemble what I believed I was buying, and only after attempting to return it did I learn that I would be expected to ship it to China at my own expense.

Buyer beware. Save screenshots of everything before ordering.
