I was recommended The Good Travel Agent by a friend. I went online, entered my postcode and some agents names came up. I called them based on the distance from my location leaving messages.

Samantha Fields, one of the agents I left a message with, called me later that day. I gave her my brief which evolved as we conversed over a period of 2-3 weeks.

Samantha was very patient, understood my needs and presented relevant holiday options.

It was a pleasure to book my holiday through Samantha.

Sarah made everything so smooth & easy for me. It was my first solo holiday abroad. I had very specific requirements and was very nervous. I couldn’t have gone away without Sarah’s help. She knew my taste of hotels and the vibe I was going for and arranged everything for me so I didn’t have to lift a finger. Even with my last minute panic of which terminal to go to, she was quick at answering and made everything so effortless for me and I couldn’t thank her enough. She kept within my price range & got the most beautiful hotel for me. The transfer and flight was smooth and I couldn’t recommend her enough. Genuinely very grateful for her support and will be booking all of my holidays and trips away through her… thankyou so much x

I would like to thank Jack from the Good Travel Agent for the help which he provided to my wife a few weeks ago just before we left for a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords. We had a couple of issues, both unexpected but very important and after contacting Jack via email and telling him of our concerns he very promptly got both issues sorted for us. He is a credit to the company and we thank him for his valued help. Very well done Jack!

I paid £120 deposit to Travel Agents FLIGHTSPRO for two flight only journeys. They then called me and said the flight was cancelled due to a hurricane. They would not refund my deposit but said I could use in the future towards another flight. When I tried to book another flight with them, their price was nearly £200 higher then the airline, so I booked direct with the airline and asked the travel agent for my money back. I had to chase them, they were not good at responding and had several excuses why they couldn't pay me back. They then claimed the flight was actually reinstated. I think the airport was damaged and closed at the time they told me the flight was cancelled but by the time the flight date came round, the airport was up and running, but they did not tell me. They have now offered to refund my £120 but want to deduct £50 for their admin fee. I did not cancel, they had not issued any ticket and quite frankly, I have spent a lot to time on the phone chasing and emailing them with little response. I would steer clear from this travel agency. I doubt their integrity.

Meritxell was not only an amazing travel agent but a truly lovely human being, which when booking a holiday of a lifetime is really important. She listened intently and came away with a long list of activities and things I wanted to do and see in Egypt, including riding around the pyramids on horseback with a guide and minimal sailing on the Nile. Meritxell came back with the most perfect holiday, which included everything I had asked for, and more! I have already highly recommended Meritxell to friends and will certainly be using her expertise again when booking my next holiday. Thank you, what a difference you made to this experience.

Meritxell has been wonderful, helping us to book a once in a lifetime trip for our honeymoon. We wanted a trip that incorporated both safari and beach. Meritxell researched different countries and the prices, and came back to us very quickly with the best option. She walked us through the details, and provided details on the other options too. Not only did she provide information about the activities and accommodation, she also provided other helpful information about the various countries, such as health risks. Meritxell was flexible with changing details on the option we decided on, such as changing the hotel and changing the cabin of flights, whilst also being realistic with us about how these changes would impact the price. The package she has put together includes everything we will need to enjoy our honeymoon stress free, including hotels, transfers, flights etc. We are very excited about our trip thanks to Meritxell, and look forward to working with her more nearer the time as we finalise our itinerary. Meritxell is also now helping with research for the hen do in the U.K. so she has a wide range of partners she works with, and can help organise all different types of trips! I cannot recommend Meritxell enough! Thank you x

Claire was amazing. Trying to book a holiday for 14 was proving difficult so I called Claire. Within no time at all she had managed to find a holiday that suited us all, from flight times to activities available at the resort. She was efficient, very knowledgeable and suggested things I had even thought of! Took the stress away completely, we got an amazing deal too and are super excited to go away! thank you so much!! We booked through Bonni for our Disney trip and were blown away with how much help and support we had. The booking process was easy and smooth. Bonni constantly checked in on us. We also got some Bonni exclusive Disney tips which helped massively with our stay. We did have an issue whilst in our holiday which was Disneys fault, Bonni was an amazing support and helped us so much more than the staff on site to get a resolution. Thank you so much for this. It was lovely having someone to reach out to so our holiday wasn’t spoilt! Bonni is so knowledgeable in Disney which was a great perk when booking our first time trip. Absolutely brilliant! I can't praise Meritxell enough!

I found Meritxell could not do enough for me. Being a single female traveller and AOP, she really listened to my likes and dislikes, and found me a lovely holiday in Scotland on my birthday. Meritxell has even offered to drive me to a destination collection point in the past as I do not drive and rely on rail or local bus services.
Give Meritxell a budget, tell her when and where you want to go and she will find you a place. Absolutely brilliant! I can't praise her enough!

We had the pleasure of booking a birthday weekend away/mini-moon with Meritxell. I gave her a couple of ideas and she came back with the perfect long weekend in the Cotswolds! It was well within my specific budget too. She provided us with an itinerary and recommended eateries and villages to visit which was lovely! My travel agent Amy has been absolutely brilliant from start to finish. She dealt with everything for me effortlessly and was always on hand whenever I needed her, even on weekends!

Myself, my husband and my two teenage sons had a holiday in Turkey this year which we booked through Meritxell. I had a discussion with Meritxell about what we were looking for and she came back with a good option for us. We talked about what we liked and didn’t like about it and then she came back with something even better! I was really pleased not to have to spend the time searching for holidays and to be able to just pass all the information to Mertixell. I believe we would never have found such a good holiday within our price range without her. Once we had booked Meritxell was great helping us with any queries, giving us travel tips and reminders and checking if we wanted any help with finding and booking additional activities.

We loved the holiday and are really pleased we used Meritxell for this. We have already starting discussing plans with Meritxell for another holiday!

I asked Kevin to find me a holiday at very short notice, Kevin started searching straight away and found me some fantastic options with all requests met, once I agreed Kevin took care of everything and kept me updated at all times. I was on a plane 3 x days after the original request and the whole experience was excellent,myself, my partner and two children absolutely loved the whole experience and it was above and beyond what we expected,I will certainly be using The Good travel agent again..
