I contacted Maximum Adventure on a Thursday about hiking the West Highland Way. They took the initiative immediately, asking smart questions about distances, pacing, and what I actually wanted out of the trip instead of just pushing a standard package. We went back and forth on the details through the day, and by Friday I had a confirmed itinerary with seven nights of accommodation booked. On Monday I arrived at Milngavie.

Four days from first email to first step. That pace alone is remarkable, but what really counts is that everything held up once I was on the trail. Every stage, every night's lodging, no surprises, nothing overlooked. I could focus on the walking instead of worrying about logistics. Highly recommended.

Maximum Advanture orginised our hike Hadrians wall west to east in 6 days and they did a fantastic job.
Al l accommodations where great and as they where asked (twin rooms) and they where all very British how we like it🙂.
The transfer of luggage was good and always there when we arrived even in our own booked last night in Newcastle.

We just returned from stage one of the Coast to Coast from St Bees to Kirkby Stephen and it was fabulous. This was our 2nd trip with Maximum Adventures (we'd previously done the WHW) and we appreciated the local knowledge when deciding which trip to take. The accommodations were great, the food yummy and we met some great people on our walk.

There was one problem with a booking at an accommodation, but Claire had it handled before we'd even had a chance to have a post-walk beer! Really appreciated the quick and super helpful response.

Mother Nature needed to turn the heat down on the last 3 days of our walk but you can't plan for that! The Lake District makes for fantastic and challenging walking - we loved exploring the area. Would highly recommend Maximum Adventures and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

There experience on the holiday, the excellent accomodation they chose, the taxi transport and the baggage service where all first class.
The booking process was easy, the payment plans where clear and simple and the supplied information pre trip where perfect.

Just completed the West Highland Way with Maximum Adventure. The booking process was smooth, professional and personal. The trip was splendid. The accommodation provided was excellent and the baggage transfer worked very well. The excellent administration left us to focus on and enjoy the walking. Definitely recommend Maximum Adventure.

Booked to do the National Three Peaks on the 31st July paid in full £500 they cancelled on the 19th June it is now the 3rd of July with no signs of any refund . We have phoned them and emailed them and they cannot tell us when we will get it back !

We booked Maximum Adventure to help me plan and execute a bucket list trip to walk the Hadrian’s Wall path in 6 days for my son (33) and me (60). From the start the communication was clear and prompt. Our tour advisor, Jolene van Sittert, worked efficiently to secure us our accommodations and to provide a solid itinerary. The luggage transfers and other logistical details were well attended to and our hike went off without a hitch. Maximum Adventures will be my first point of contact for future bucket list items!

What an amazing trip myself and my son took, climbing mount snowdon at the weekend. Our guide was Ieuan and he was absolutely fantastic. Took us off the beaten track, so we could take in the beauty...made sure we all ate enough of what we should be eating on the way up....let us all go at a pace which suited us, just ensured we all had a great time basically. Thankyou so much for a great experience 😀

Maximum Adventure were terrific. We had chosen to walk the Hadrian's Wall Path and having struggled to get replies from individual accommodations, we decided to try using a company. Max Adventure were able to make some bespoke 'tweaks' to the published itinerary to suit our request. They booked all of the accommodations, arranged taxis for those times when the overnight stop wasn't directly on the path (or a sensible distance from it) and transferred our main luggage from place to place. They were quick and efficient and the whole trip worked like clockwork. We had a fantastic walk that was totally stress free. I would definitely go to them first for future walking trips.

I completed the 3 peak challenge which i booked through Maximum Adventure. The entire experience was great from start to finish. The booking went smoothly, the hotel was lovely. There were local guides for each challenge and they were really professional. The bus drivers were really friendly and they made sure they got to the destination on time. The guides were excellent and were encouraging. I was very happy with Maximum Adventure.

We had a brilliant time walking Hadrians Wall over 6 days on a trek organised by Maximum Adventure. the accommodation was excellent every night and the bag transfer worked very smoothly.

This was my first yorkshire three peaks and I would highly recommend booking with maximum adventure who took all the stress away from me…..From the very start of booking it updating me with advice and help throughout on hand if any questions needed answers all the way to helping me complete my challenge on the day with our guides Phil and Derek….who were super…..thanks again guys….

I had a fantastic experience climbing Snowdon with Maximum Adventures. We took the Pyg track up and Llanberis Path down. The local knowledge of our guide was excellent as we were able to avoid busy car parks and take a short bus to the start of the track. From start to finish our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable and confident on the mountain. He set a great pace, shared interesting information about the area, and was always attentive to the group's needs.
The whole day was well organised and enjoyable. Reaching the summit was an amazing achievement, and our guide played a big part in making it such a memorable experience.
I would highly recommend this guided tour to anyone looking to explore Snowdon, whether you're an experienced hiker or doing it for the first time.

I did the Yorkshire Three Peaks with maximum adventure as my guide. They were excellent. Training guidance is best heeded, nutrition advice is best heeded and then they will guide you up and down three times over. Thoroughly recommend them as an organisation.
