Very Friendly Staff, Great quotes and cover

Excellent insurance cover, how ever did not receive the gifts I was promised when took out the policy. Customer Service / Marketing was an unacceptable experience and were very unreasonable.

Quick, easy and straight forward to organise. The time to review will be when I need to claim but happy with cover for price paid

I needed to get some insurance for my golf gear, been thinking about how much I've had tied up in it decided I needed Insurance. Looked at a number of different companies offering different options and decided after looking at the small print and defining what I really needed and wanted, the golfers club offered the best package. Access to their site, identifying and signing up for my ideal package was simple, even for someone who's not 100% with laptops/computers, it was easy to follow. I received immediate cover and confirmation and my pack was delivered by Royal mail within 24 hours .... Great service, hope I never need to make a claim though !

I changed to The Golfers Club because they offered better terms than I had with my previous insurer who had just halved the benefits whilst telling me in renewal notice that they had managed to maintain the cost with no increase. Had I not read the detail I would probably have renewed. The Golfers Club cover cost me slightly more than i had been paying but gave me far better cover than I had previously, even before my insurer had halved the cover

Easy to understand with no hassle

I lost my GPS on my home course, I reported the loss to the secretary manager. the professional, ground staff and Members. Having not heard anything the following day I made a claim and this to my surprise (insurance companies ???) was dealt with in a very efficient manner.I was not made to feel guilty, and was dealt with as if I was somebody who mattered. The replacement I had within five days and I can only thank all concerned, The only disappointment was that the GPS was not handed in, on the day concerned two comps took place and it is hard to believe that it was not picked up or seen.Its now over a month and nothing heard so one is left wondering.

How good is an insurance company, in all probabilities you can only tell when things go wrong and you need to make a claim.
I took out insurance with The Golfers Club in July last year, this was done on line and was straight forward, policy documents etc followed shortly after and any communication has always been efficient.
In a recent competition I mishit a shot and sent my ball rocketing towards my partner, luckily the ball missed him but hit his trolley smashing the screen and LCD on his Motocaddy. I advised The Golfers Club the following day that in all probabilities I would be making a claim and shortly after received a claim form by e-mail.
Motocaddy advised that this was a straight forward repair, my friend was happy for us to do it ourselves so the parts were ordered and the repair carried out.
The necessary documentation for the claim were completed and forwarded, an e-mail was received requesting contact information for my friend. Within 24 hours of TGC contacting my friend I was advised that my claim would be met and two days later I have received a cheque for that amount.
I believe Golf Insurance is essential but who do you chose, the cheapest or a company that you can trust and handles your claim super efficiently. I know who I would chose and I will be renewing my policy.

Was it easy? YES - the website is very easy to use and tells you everything you need to know!

Why Golfers Club? Ive got golf insurance through my golf club but it doesn't cover me for my clubs which I keep in my locker - so for me buying more golf insurance is a must AND IS IMPERATIVE FOR ANY DISCERNING GOLFER to know they are adequately covered. With the Golfers Club you don't have to specify which clubs you have at all and if like me you do change your clubs fairly regularly this is ideal and stops any issues should the unthinkable happen.

Is it good value? ABSOLUTELY. I got a free box of balls worth over £20 and so taking that off the cost its less than 50p a week plus 2for1 deals - a bargain!
